How to: Cinema 4d file as fotoshop layer

Hello: I am using fotoshop cc and would like to import a cinema 4d file as a 3d layer. The only way i managed this until now is by converting the c4d file to a 3ds file. Unfortunately i lose all colors when i import the file as fotoshop layer. Grateful for suggestions.

No other way.

  • How to open multiple files on one layer

    hi there,
I have a fairly simple problem and I browsed through all the different FAQs to find it but nothing came up. In any case, my question is how do you select multiple files (in this case PNGs) and open them as individual layers on one file instead of opening them as separate files?
easy huh? I'm a noob ok.
    thanks
    -Chance

Russell Brown has a CS4 version of his services.
As Wolf points out, if you have CS4 then you already have access to a script that will also do what you want. I happened to notice though, that the built-in script and the Russell Brown script work slightly differently. The RB script will crop all images based on the first one loaded. The built-in script will apparently use the dimensions of the largest image.
It was a nit but I thought the title of the thread would be more accurate as "Help opening multiple images as layers in a single file" or something like that.

  • Apple Script: How to deactivate single channels of a layer?

    Hi there,
can someone probably tell me how to deactivate specific channels of a layer?
Example: Photoshop file with two layers, say CMYK. I want to deactivate CMY of the first layer, so that only K can be seen.
Unfortunately I didn’t find any information in the PS scripting guide nor in the scripting reference.
Thanks for any help on this.
    andy

Paul, is correct you can't even do this in the app through the GUI. You would either need to duplicate your top layer loop through the channels that you don't want selecting all and clearing then going back to the composite or you could add an adjustment layer above the top grouped and use this by toggling its visibility (this is the way I would go). Paul 'AppleScript'? you've made me smile this morning what's come over you…
    Added some code from scriptlistener…
    tell application "Adobe Photoshop CS2"
    activate
set Doc_Ref to the current document
    tell Doc_Ref
    if mode = CMYK then
set current layer to layer 1
    -- delay 2

  • How can I get files to open automatically upon download?

I would like files I download to open automatically and for the download window to be turned off. I know how to turn off the download window, but cannot get files to automatically download.

Hi JJMack. Thanks for getting back to me.
I think I've created confusion about what I want. All I want is to end up with a file that is flattened so that I can save it as a tiff without getting a warning that it contains layers. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve always assumed I should always flatten a file before I save it as a tiff unless I specifically want to retain layers or transparency. I’m only talking here of files that open with a single layer: ie. Layer 1. I assume that if I don’t flatten such files the resultant files will be unnecessarily big?
The only reason I keep saying I want a Background layer is that I know that a flattened file will only have a Background layer. I don’t have any desire for a Background layer per se. I certainly don’t want to add extra layers - quite the opposite.
So perhaps the question I should have asked should have been:
How can I get files to open 'ready-flattened' by default so I can save them directly to tiff without having to manually flatten them every time?
    Cheers

  • When I click "File" and then "New" it keeps opening a new file as a layer and not a background. RGB is selected as the mode.

When I click "File" and then "New" it keeps opening a new file as a layer and not a background. RGB is selected as the mode.
With new files opening as a layer and not a background I'm not able to create multiple layers and it wont let me convert the layer to the background.
How did this happen. I used PS just yesterday and had no problems. Today my computer did mandatory updates and now this.

Yes. You are using the Ellipse Tool's Pixel option. So it is laying down pixels as it is supposed to do without creating a layer.
    Choose the Shape option:
Also Layer menu > New Layer creates layers and the curled paper at the bottom of your Layers palette also creates a New Layer. I hope those work.

  • How to get Media File in Context

    Hello Everyone,
I have an application on which i need to store and manage millions of media content (can be audio/visual). As i cannot maintain that much content in the WebContext, so i put the content on the different server.
Now the problem is when someone need to play the media content than that content need to be with in the WebContext other wise the Media Player does not get the URL/Content.
Now As i have put the data on different server, how i get the files in the Cureent Applications web context????
I am out of ideas at the moment. Please suggest something. I am using Struts1.3,JSP,JSTL for the presentation layer and Hibernate for the DB Layer.

You just need a servlet to access the place where the media content is, and stream it back to the client.
http://balusc.blogspot.com/2009/02/fileservlet-supporting-resume-and.html has an example (and links) for a File/Image servlet that does something similar.
You may need to adapt it if you are streaming stuff, but it the theory remains the same.
    cheers,

  • How to populate budget files file_budget.csv and file_acct_budget.csv

Hi, we have implemened Financial Analytics 7.9.5 on EBS system. We have successfully loaded all the Data except Budget information. Recently I came to know that there is no Budget ETL in ORAR12..and need to use Universal Adapator for populating the budget information.
According to this guideline I'm supposed to populate file_budget.csv and file_acct_budget.csv files manually and start the extract. Now I'm having trouble filling these files. These files exoect many IDs to be filled in like ORG_ID etc..and documentation says these IDs shoule be same as one in Warehouse..I don't understand how to fill this. Has anybody done this already..if so please guide us how to fill these files and appreciate if you can post a sample record for each of these files.
    Thanks.

You need to go to the corresponding dimensions and see how the integration_id is populated for this dimension. For this, you will have to open the corresponding SDE mapping in Informatica and trace back the integration_id. The document says which table's integration_id to look for, for each of the ids in the fact. For eg:
    GL_ACCOUNT_ID
GL Account identifier. Populate with integration_id from w_gl_account_d.
    PRODUCT_ID
Product identifier. Populate with integration_id from w_product_d.
    COMPANY_ORG_ID
    Company Org identifier. Populate with integration_id from w_int_org_d where company_flg = Y.
For example, if w_gl_account_d's integration_id is formed from gl_code_combinations.code_combination_id in EBS, you need to populate the code_combination_id (from EBS) of your budget record, for each row in the budget fact csv file.

  • How to view cc files on a computer that only has photoshop cs6

I have the new version of photoshop on my computer that only allows me to save files as: photoshop cc.  However, I would like to transfer these files to view on a computer, which is at school, that only allows me to view files from photoshop cs6 or older (cs4, etc.).  I would like to work on projects on my personal computer at home and finish them on the computer at school.  So, how can see my files that are in creative cloud on a computer that only has photoshop cs6?

Need a little more information.  Never heard of a Photoshop cc file, maybe I'm missing something.  When you save a file the first time there is a drop down menu allowing you to save the photo as a number of different file extensions, i.e.. PSD, tiff, jpeg.  There is no photoshop cc.  File uploaded to your folder on the cloud retain their extensions.

  • How to store multiple files from SAp in to Application server?

    Hi Guys,
Can anybody tell me how to store multiple files from SAP into Application server.in my application i have to get the data from SAP tables BSEG , BKPF , BSAK and BSIK that to daily i have to do.
Any Logic  or Code for how to do is welcomed.
                        plz help me urgently.
    Thanks,
    Gopi

    Hi,
directories creates basis. If you have task to store data in application server you already should have information into which folder you have to do it. If you don't have this information because it is just for example training for next task then you can use your personal folder into which you have access. To get list of all available folders please look at attached code and form get_directories (you get the list of folders you see in transaction AL11). But don't forget: If you are using open dataset you have to have rights to access application folder!
Here you are code which I use to upload text files from local disc into application folder

How to upload Excel file in BI using function module in abap program?

    Hi Anuj,
To upload the file , you can try a standard program "RSEPSFTP" .
while you execute the program , a selection screen appears in which the inputs should be give as
RFC destination - The target server name
    FTP command- PUT
local file - your file name
local directory - path of your local file
remote file - your target file name
remote directory - where it has to be stored
Hope this is useful for you
    Thanks & regards
    Anju
