how to comment in smartform for text value in abap.
i want to comment text value which is coming in output
From drag and drop option i had dropped an item text in text window and now i dont want to delete it i just want to comment it so can any one help me in commenting the text value.

hi
open the text element in the smartform.
on the left corner, we have text editor button.
open that and change the editor (goto-->change editor)
on the new line, give the format as comment line /*. and you can write the comments as required.
such lines doesnt reflect in the output layout.

Hi, I'm new to LabVIEW.
I need some help. Attached is my LabVIEW file.
I want to change the Formula VI for the 'Air Velocity vs Time' waveform to another formula (or multiple formula (can I use MathNode Script for this?)) to let it handle multiple values from the data and then display the result on the waveform graph. Or how can I do this?
Another one is how to change the scale for the 'Measurement Flow' from sensor to pressure? Using pressure sensor 0V-10V to -500Pa-500Pa.

You could simply use a case structure around the Formula Express VI. When you say MathNode Script I'm assuming you're referring to MathScript? Or are you referring to the Formula Node. With either one you'd need to convert from dynamic data to arrays. With MathScrip you need to be aware that starting with LabVIEW 2009 MathScript requires a separate license.

You can create a custom scale for your measurement. You can do this in the DAQ Assistant.

How do you setup ipod for texting?

I just got a ipod touch and one of the features is the capability to text with it, but I am having problem using it to text as text features require a valid phone number. Can someone explain to me how to use ipod touch to text? All helps will be highly appreciated.

Do you have the Messages app? Texting on the iPod is done through Apple's iMessage service. You'll need an Apple ID, and you'll need to enter it under Settings > Messages > Receive At... > Apple ID. If you don't have Messages, then you don't have iOS 5, which means your iPod needs updating. Plug it in to iTunes and it should notify you that there's an update.

How to populate column titles for y values when using Write to Measurement File Express VI with a tab delimited text-based .lvm file?

The .lvm file generated by the Write to Measurement File Express VI includes column heading titles for the y values, but they are a default value of "untitled". See attached example of a sample file when opened in Excel, the values in question are highlighted. Is there a way to specify the column titles when the file is written?
This is a similar question to this posting, which received a work around response to use the Write to Spreadsheet File.vi, rather than a solution when using this VI.

You can do it, but the code can get rather ugly. Under the hood, the dynamic data type (the dark blue wire) is an array of waveforms. In your case, the scalar values you convert to a dynamic data type are being converted to an array of waveforms, each waveform having one element. You have two options.
Explicitly convert your scalars to one-element waveforms (t0=0, dt=1) and add the title before conversion to a dynamic data type.
Convert your dynamic data type to an array of waveforms and loop through them to add the column labels. The conversion blocks are in the Signal Manipulation Express palette.
I would recommend 2, since it is the easiest to add. It is also the easiest to run only on the first iteration. Just put a case selector around the loop, wire the selection to the While loop iterator, and set the case containing the label code to 0. The default case simply passes through the dynamic data.
My apologies for not including a screen shot. I am in the process of upgrading my machine and can't run LabVIEW. If you need one, let me know and I can post one tomorrow.

How can one search SmartForms for a particular text or string?

Hello fellow SAP developers,
Our client has a need to search for a particular string in all of our Smart Forms and SAPScripts. For SAPScripts I was able to write a simple Z-Program using function module u201CREAD_FORMu201D to accomplish this. However, for SmartForms I do not see such an option.
Could you kindly give me any advice on a similar function module I could use to search through Smart Forms for a particular string?

I want to isolate rows which appear in the table and do a update using below query ( This query is already in a procedure, so I just looking for a suitable way to modify it to support my task )

I use following query, but it update other rows as well, I want a suitable query only to capture rows of nature claim_id = 120301 and do this update? Is there any functions that I could use to facilitate my task??

Please follow basic Netiquette and post the DDL we need to answer this. Follow industry and ANSI/ISO standards in your datC1. You should follow ISO-11179 rules for naming data elements. You do not know this IT standard.
You should follow ISO-8601 rules for displaying temporal datC1. We need to know the data types, keys and constraints on the table. Avoid dialect in favor of ANSI/ISO Standard SQL.

Think about how silly “_data” is AS an attribute property! What tables do you have without an data in them? You had to give this meta-data in 1970's operating systems, FORTRAN compilers, etc. but we do not do this today. I see you use “A”, “B”, etc for table
aliases This is the name of the disk or tape drive in a 1970 computer! In SQL we use helpful, meaningful table aliases so code is easier to maintain. I see you also use the old punch card trick of putting a comma at the front of each line of code.
The column named “ord” is a mathematical fiction for ordinal sets. I think you meant to use it as a non-relational sequential number to let you keep writing 1970's COBOL is T-SQL. We have not used the old Sybase ISNULL() since we got COALESCE() in SQL-92. They
are actually different.

Since SQL is a database language, we prefer to do look ups and not calculations. They can be optimized while temporal math messes up optimization. A useful idiom is a report period calendar that everyone uses so there is no way to get disagreements in the DML.
The report period table gives a name to a range of dates that is common to the entire enterprise.

data format required by Standard SQL and it is language independent. It has been proposed for the Standard, but is not yet part of it. The regular expression pattern for validation is simple.

No. SQL is set oriented so an update applies to the whole table. You can filter out rows in a WHERE clause.

Now you just add another change row to the history. There is no update. If you want to the delta and so forth, use LAG() and other window functions.

How to recreate a preference for text schema index

I have 10.2.0.3 database. I have a schema that has text schema indexes. I need to load the data to another user.
Here is my steps:
1. create a new user dev.
2. expdp user prod
3. impdp prod to dev META_DATA_ONLY
4. drop schema indexex, otherwise, there is error.
5. recreate schema index.
My problem is when I recreate the indexes. I got this error

That is not a feature yet. An upcoming update (end of January) will allow multiple fields on a row, which would allow you to create a table. I don't know if there will be a tool that allows you to create a table of fields more easily.
If you can create a PDF form (e.g., with Acrobat) it can have any layout you want, but not all FormsCentral features are available with PDF forms.

How to create a trigger for particular value insertion?

If I have a Table T, which has columns as A,B,C,D. I want to create a trigger to give an error message if someone inserts or updates T with values in A as '001' AND value in B as '99'

In Mac OS X, every user account is a member of at least one group, and every file and folder has group permissions assigned. Groups give permissions to sets of users who are able to perform similar functions. Mac OS X does not provide an application to easily create and manage groups. Instead, it uses some preset groups to give users permissions and functionality. If you need to create and manage groups, you will need to use Mac OS X Server, or the built in NetInfo Manager.
If you need more information, any book dealing with OS X and Unix should suffice.
