How to configure operator extension in UCxn?

Hi all,
I installed CUCM and UCxn 8.6.2 in my lab and was able to configure (using demo licenses) basic functionality meaning I can create voice mailbox for particular extension and it works just fine (can leave a message, listen it and finally delete it). What bothers me is the end of the standard greeting in Opening Greeting call handler, when it says: "...Otherwise, please hold for an opearator." I was expecting some phone to start ringing, but voice message simply continues with "Sorry, the operator is not available." which belongs to standard greeting under Operator call handler. I tried to configure extension 99990 as another line on one CIPC but it didn't help.
Bottom line: am I right to expect operator line ringing (during working hours) or I totally didn't understand this?
Thanks,
Tenaro

Below are the simple steps to configure Auto Attendant, hope you have done all this.
1) Identify if this is a "forwarded" or a "direct" call. You can check
this using the "Call Viewer".
2) Now, that if you have identified this call either as forwarded or a
direct call, then go to the respective (Forwarded/Direct calls) under the
"Call Routing" menu.
3) Lets assume call is "forwarded", then create a forwarding rule with
"Dialed No" as 4000 (or whatever you see in the call viewer). Now, if you
see at the bottom you may see what action need to be taken on this i.e:
whether you want to send it to a Call Handler or a subscriber.
4) Just in case you want caller to hear the company greeting other than
the "opening greeting" (default), create a Call Handler and record the
greeting you want when the callers call.
Note: Make sure you record the greeting under the greetings tab, the one
on the profiles tab is nothing but just a name greeting.
IMPORTANT: This is a scenario where all the calls coming from outside i.ea caller dialing a PSTN number to reach the company, and all the calls are
routed via Unity and then phone.
5) Now, when the company greeting is played, do u want the call be routed
back to the phone after giving a caller an IVR type option to dial 1, 2,3 or
something like that.... In such a case, configure all the "Caller Input" on
the same "Call Handler" that has the company greeting, or else in the
"Greetings" tab itself, make sure under "Greeting Options" drop down everything is disabled... standard will be default that you can change (will
be greyed out).
Note: You can specify the phone number as you want. You can specify that number as that of a Hunt Pilot on the "CallManager" or even a DN of a
physical phone (softphones/communicators included obviously)

    hello, All,
I wonder to know if somebody knows, how to configure a new product type with a new operation deal with the amortization divided?, I mean in the SPRO, portfolio of securities with the characteristics mentioned.
    Hope you help me.

    Hi Prasad,
Thanks for the information, but the directions that you give me not be useful, I want that the UPDATE TYPE  appears in the position cash flow in the transaction deal in the option-->operative valuation area( 2nd option) or in the report TPM13, this for two treasury ledger dates.
I mean that the update type "samxx" affect the accountant as amortization divided?, this transaction deal is a purchase.

  • How to configure IIS webserver with weblogic so that I can invoke servlets without the .wlforward extension

How to configure IIS webserver with weblogic so that I can
invoke servlets without the .wlforward extension
As per the documentation iisforward.dll is registered as a filter and .wlforward
    has also been

    after my servlet name.
What I want is something like this

Please help me find a solution to this
    Thanks,

I am able to invoke the servlet without the wlforward extension now.
However, now I am required to add /weblogic before the servlet
name otherwise it does not execute the pathtrim property.
I have tried with the pathprepend thing also.
Can we get rid of the /weblogic part also. I just want to execute
    my servlet as http://iis/myServlet.
Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated...

    Thanks for the reply Kumar.
I did follow the instructions as given in the Weblogic documentation
The documentation said to add iisforward.dll as a filter service
and register .wlforward as a special
file type to be handled by iisproxy.dll. For this,
while configuring the IIS server in the Home Directory tab
I added an extension ".wlforward" and the executable as
iisproxy.dll. Is this the way it should have been done...
I also modified the iisproxy.ini file as per the documentation.
I have added the WLForwardPath property and set it to /weblogic.
My server works fine when I give the url as
    http://iis/myServlet.wlforward
but it does not work for
http://iis/myServlet and this is the way i'd want it to work.
Please tell me if I am missing something on the configuration part
and if there is something special that needs to be done. I shall
    be grateful to you.

  • How to configure AA on Unity ?

How to configure Auto Attendant on Unity ?For example ,outsider caller dial AA number ,it answer the opening greeting ,then you can transfer to reception with pressing 0 or transfer to extension with pressing number.I do it as following ,but I think something is wrong ,help me .
1 add a CTI router point associated with a AA number on CCM and create it's voice mail on unity .And forward all to voice mail.
2 on Opening Greeting Call handler, set personal opening greeting ,no transfer incoming calls(send directly to handler'greeting). the other configuration of call handler is default
3 on operator Call handler ,transfer the incoming call to an extension ,for example reception extension.the other configuration of call handler is default.
But now ,I find when I dial AA number from outside ,I can hear the opening greeting and press 0 to trensfer reception ,but if presss extension number ,I hear the busy tone .Why ?

This can be done by configuring call handler(s). For the Call Handler you can set the 'Active Schedule' which let you activate the different greeting depending on the time. For your human attendant, you can configure CFNA/CFB to the Unity attendant extension. For more information please check the Unity Administration guide (section Call Handler)

  • [Forum FAQ] How to configure a Data Driven Subscription which get multi-value parameters from one column of a database table?

    Introduction
In SQL Server Reporting Services, we can define a mapping between the fields that are returned in the query to specific delivery options and to report parameters in a data-driven subscription.
For a report with a parameter (such as YEAR) that allow multiple values, when creating a data-driven subscription, how can we pass a record like below to show correct data (data for year 2012, 2013 and 2014).
    EmailAddress                             Parameter
    Comment
    [email protected]              2012,2013,2014               NULL
In this article, I will demonstrate how to configure a Data Driven Subscription which get multi-value parameters from one column of a database table
    Workaround
Generally, if we pass the “Parameter” column to report directly in the step 5 when creating data-driven subscription.
The value “2012,2013,2014” will be regarded as a single value, Reporting Services will use “2012,2013,2014” to filter data. However, there are no any records that YEAR filed equal to “2012,2013,2014”, and we will get an error when the subscription executed
    on the log. (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles)
Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.InvalidReportParameterException: Default value or value provided for the report parameter 'Name' is not a valid value.
This means that there is no such a value on parameter’s available value list, this is an invalid parameter value. If we change the parameter records like below.
    EmailAddress                        Parameter             Comment
    [email protected]         2012                     NULL
    [email protected]         2013                     NULL
    [email protected]         2014                     NULL
In this case, Reporting Services will generate 3 reports for one data-driven subscription. Each report for only one year which cannot fit the requirement obviously.
Currently, there is no a solution to solve this issue. The workaround for it is that create two report, one is used for view report for end users, another one is used for create data-driven subscription.
On the report that used create data-driven subscription, uncheck “Allow multiple values” option for the parameter, do not specify and available values and default values for this parameter. Then change the Filter
    From
    Expression:[ParameterName]
    Operator   :In
    Value         :[@ParameterName]
    To
    Expression:[ParameterName]
    Operator   :In
    Value         :Split(Parameters!ParameterName.Value,",")
In this case, we can specify a value like "2012,2013,2014" from database to the data-driven subscription.
    Applies to
    Microsoft SQL Server 2005
    Microsoft SQL Server 2008
    Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2
    Microsoft SQL Server 2012

For every Auftrag, there are multiple Position entries.
Rest of the blocks don't seems to have any relation.
So you can check this code to see how internal table lt_str is built whose first 3 fields have data contained in Auftrag, and next 3 fields have Position data. The structure is flat, assuming that every Position record is related to preceding Auftrag.
    Try out this snippet.

    Hi
Idoc Def :Standard SAP format for electronic data interchange between systems (Intermediate Document). Different message types (such as delivery confirmations or purchase orders) normally represent different specific formats, the IDoc types. However, multiple message types with related content can be assigned to one IDoc type: For example, the IDoc type ORDERS01 transfers the "logical" message types ORDERS (purchase order) and ORDRSP (order confirmation).
Idocs are of two types basic type and the extension type .we need to configure the system settings for this process .
IDOC (Intermediate Document) - A data holder.
IDOC is divided in to three parts.
    Control Record
    Data Record
    Status Record
    Control record (Table: EDIDC):
    - Every IDOC has only one Control Record
    - Each Control Record contains header information like:
    o IDOC Number
o Direction of IDOC: Inbound or Outbound
o Date and Time of creation of IDOC
o Date and time when the IDOC was last modified.
    o Message Type of IDOC
o IDOC type and extension of IDOC
    o Sender and Receiver Partner
    Data record – (Table: EDID4):
    - Data Record contains Data to be processed.
    - Every IDOC has one data record with multiple segments in hierarchy.
    - Segments and Hierarchy of Segments are defined by IDOC Type and Extension.
    - IDOC created has to strictly follow the hierarchy; else IDOC fails with Syntax error.
    - Segments which are repetitive have qualifiers attached to it
    Status record – (Table: EDIDS):
    - Status Record describes the status of IDOC.
    - Each IDOC contains one status Record with multiple status information.
    - Status at each level is appended to IDOC. E.g. When IDOC is created in SAP, Status is “This IDoc has been generated through a test transaction”, When the IDOC is added to system it is “IDOC added”, “IDOC ready to be transferred to Application”……
    - Status should always be read bottom-up. Status at the top is the latest status.
    - Some Example of Status Records:
    o Inbound:
    § 53 - IDOC successfully posted
    § 51 – IDOC Failed
§ 64 - IDOC ready to be transferred to Application
    o
    Outbound:
    § 30 – IDOC ready for Dispatch
§ 03 – IDOC passed to port OK
    § 12 – IDOC Dispatched
    § 16 – Functional Acknowledgement Positive
    § 17 – functional Acknowledgement Negative
IDoc Type: Defines the segments and hierarchy of segments
    o Transaction Code:
§ WE30 – To create, change or display the IDOC type and the extension.
    § WE31 – To create the Segment
    - IDOC type defines the segments to be used in the IDOC.
    - It also defines the hierarchy and syntax of the segments.
    - IDOC extension is nothing but to add segments to standard IDOC types.
    - Transaction WE31 allows you to create segments.
    - Program RSEIDOC3 documents the use of each IDOC type.
    Segments:
    Attributes of a Segment:
    - Mandatory Segment: If checked, this segment should always exist in the IDOC.
    - Minimum Number:
    - Maximum Number: Maximum number of times this segment can be repeated in IDOC. -
Parent Segment: Parent of this segment
    - Hierarchy level: Level of hierarchy.
    Segment Definition (WE31):
Messsage Type: Defines the type of data in the IDOC
    o Transaction Code:
§ WE81 – To create, change or display the Message type and the extension.
§ WE82 – Using this transaction you can link Message Type, IDOC Type, IDOC Extension and version.
    - Message type identifies the type of data IDOC holds. E.g. Orders (ORDERS), Delivery (DESADV), Invoice (INVOICE). It also defines what needs to be done with the data in the IDOC, in case of Inbound IDOC, and which data to be extracted in case of Outbound IDOC.
    - Message Type is linked to a process code, which in turn is linked to a Function Module. This function module extracts from or posts data to SAP depending on direction of IDOC.
    - Relation between Message Type, IDOC type and IDOC extension needs to define. Without this relation Message type or IDOC type cannot be used.
Message Type Create, Change or Display (WE81):
Setup link between Message Type, IDOC Type, IDOC Extension and Version (WE82)
Process Code: Function Module is linked to a process code. This function module in executed for inbound or outbound IDOC.
    o Transaction Codes:
    § WE41 – Outbound Process Code
    § WE42 – Inbound Process Code
    - Process codes are linked to a Function Module.
    - Relationship is Message Type is linked to a Process Code which is linked to a Function Module.
    - In case if you are using a stand alone code to trigger an IDOC, you need not define a process code.
RFC Destination: System definition of destination.
    o Transaction Code: SM59
    - RFC destination identifies the destination of IDOC.
    - In case of ALE:
o In ALE the communication mode is IDOC to IDOC, hence the type used is R/3 Connections.
o It is the destination SAP system which will receive the IDOC.
o In RFC destination you define the destination SAP system details like System, Login and Password.

  • How to Configure logical path and how to retrieve physical path for an IDOC

    Hi ,
I want to configure logical path for an IDOC,
and then I need to retrieve Physical path from this logical path
    using a FM (eg. FILE_GET_NAME).
How to configure the logical path for an idoc ?
    Regards ,
    Harshit Rungta

Using Logical Files in ABAP Programs
To create a physical file name from a logical file name in your ABAP programs, use the function module FILE_GET_NAME. To insert the function module call in your program, choose Edit ® Insert statement from the ABAP Editor screen. A dialog box appears. Select Call Function and enter FILE_GET_NAME. The parameters of this function module are listed below.
    Import parameters
    Parameters
    Function
    CLIENT
The maintenance tables for the logical files and paths are client-dependent. Therefore, the desired client can be imported. The current client is stored in the system field SY-MANDT.
    LOGICAL_FILENAME
Enter the logical file name in upper case letters that you want to convert.
    OPERATING_SYSTEM
You can import any operating system that is contained in the list in Transaction SF04 (see Assigning Operating Systems to Syntax Groups). The physical file name will be created according to the syntax group to which the operating system is linked. The default parameter is the value of the system field
    SY-OPSYS.
    PARAMETER_1
    PARAMETER_2
If you specify these import parameters, the reserved words  in the physical path names will be replaced by the imported values.
    USE_PRESENTATION
    _SERVER
With this flag you can decide whether to import the operating system of the presentation server instead of the operating system imported by the parameter OPERATING_SYSTEM.
    WITH_FILE_EXTENSION
If you set this flag unequal to SPACE, the file format defined for the logical file name is appended to the physical file name.
    Export Parameters
    Parameters
    Function
    EMERGENCY_FLAG
If this parameter is unequal to SPACE, no physical name is defined in the logical path. An emergency physical name was created from table FILENAME and profile parameter DIR_GLOBAL.
    FILE_FORMAT
This parameter is the file format defined for the logical file name. You can use this parameter, for example, to decide in which mode the file should be opened.
    FILE_NAME
This parameter is the physical file name that you can use with the ABAP statements for working with files.
    Exception Parameters
    Parameters
    Function
    FILE_NOT_FOUND
This exception is raised if the logical file is not defined.
    OTHERS
This exception is raised if other errors occur.
Suppose the logical file MYTEMP and the logical path TMP_SUB are defined as in the preceding topics and we have the following program:
    DATA: FLAG,
          FORMAT(3),
          FNAME(60).
    WRITE SY-OPSYS.
    CALL FUNCTION 'FILE_GET_NAME'
         EXPORTING
              LOGICAL_FILENAME        = 'MYTEMP'
              OPERATING_SYSTEM        = SY-OPSYS
              PARAMETER_1             = '01'
         IMPORTING
              EMERGENCY_FLAG          = FLAG
              FILE_FORMAT             = FORMAT
              FILE_NAME               = FNAME
         EXCEPTIONS
              FILE_NOT_FOUND          = 1
              OTHERS                  = 2.
    IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
      WRITE: /  'Flag      :', FLAG,
             / 'Format    :', FORMAT,
             / 'Phys. Name:', FNAME.
    ENDIF.
    The output appears as follows:
    HP-UX
    FLAG :
    FORMAT : BIN
    Phys. Name: /tmp/TEST01
In this example, the R/3 System is running under the operating system HP-UX, which is member of the syntax group UNIX. The logical file name MYTEMP with the logical path TMP_SUB is converted into a physical file name /tmp/TEST01 as defined for the syntax group UNIX. The field FNAME can be used in the further flow of the program to work with file TEST01 in directory /tmp.
Suppose we have a logical file name EMPTY with the physical file name TEST, connected to a logical path that has no specification of a physical path. If you replace the EXPORTING parameter 'MYTEMP' with 'EMPTY' in the above example, the output appears as follows:
    HP-UX
    FLAG : X
    FORMAT :
    Phys. Name: /usr/sap/S11/SYS/global/TEST
The system created an emergency file name, whose path depends on the installation of the current R/3 System.

But the message didn't goes into the error topic. If every thing is configured as per above step, then the after retries, the weblogic server will put the message into JMS topic configured. Your proxy will receive from this topic.

    Hi Experts,
Can any one help me how to configure MS-Access 2010 DB details on weblogic 11g using DBAdapters.
If you provide step by step instuction, it is very usful to me.
If you have any screen shots you can any one please send a file to my mail ID:[email protected]
    My Requirement:
I need to fetch 3 columns data (product code/ serial numer and serial status) from MS-Access 2010 and store it on oracle 11g, for that I have wrote a web service code and I need to make it automation. I don't have any IDEA, how to make this web serevice as automation (automation means, when ever new record stored in MS-Access data I need to fetch newly created record from MS-Access 2010 and send it to Oracle 11g)
Note: MS- Access 2010 present at vision system and Oracle 11g installed in linux server.
    Thanks,
    Phani

    Hi,
I am also facing the same issue, not sure about what url to use. And also the login webservice doesn't work while I am testing using http://localhost:81/RTC/RTCService.asmx. It always throwing the following error
" Unable to cast COM object of type 'RTCLib.RTCClientClass' to interface type 'RTCLib.IRTCClient'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{07829E45-9A34-408E-A011-BDDF13487CD1}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE))."
Is the current owc_lcs.zip support MS Office Communication Server 2007?
Please share the configuration step if anyone already integrated OCS 2007.
    Thanks,
    -Mukesh.

  • How to configure File Adapter (Read)..?

    Hi all,
While configuring the Read Adapter in BPEL 11g i am getting not reading any data from given location. But my location are correct.. So please how to configure File Read adapter and give any URL for this ... Thank you

    Hi all,
The file adapter it consists many operations like
    1: Read
    2:Write
    3:Synchronous Read
    4:ListFiles
So you are asking about Read operation
First you take one File Adapter-->Select Read Operation--->Give Incomming file Location ( In local system you can give like C:/temp/NewDir Or Unix Envornment like you can give /temp/NewDir)
After that you can give file Name like wich format it's incomming file name like CSV.txt or CSV.xml after you give Polling Intervels second or Mintued or Hour. You can select Native format or Define service Later once configure all those things the file adapter configration is done . If you have any doubts in file configrigation please go for the below link...........

  • How to create operations without entering a performing work center

How to create operations without entering a performing work center ? which control key should i select ?

    Hi
QM01 is control key used for all the task lists of Quality.
there is no such a configuration associated with control key &  usage of work center.
Work center is used for the activity capturing perpose & control key is to control operations.
    I hope this is clear.
Entering a work center is totally depends on the scenario & not control key.

  • Build Extension Configuration / Deployment Extension Configuration

    Hello,
I've been following the tutorial to build a Deployment Plan Modifier here (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn268597%28v=vs.103%29.aspx), and I saw this post (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ssdt/archive/2013/06/24/announcing-sql-server-data-tools-june-2013.aspx)
that describes the addition of Build Extension Configuration and Deployment Extension Configuration files to  SSDT projects. I get the impression that maybe these files could be used to pass configuration information to a Deployment Plan Modifier, such
as to define a custom upgrade action on a table.
I cannot find any documentation that describes the purpose of Deployment Extension Configurations or how to create and use them (I have looked through SSDT documentation, blog posts etc.). Ideally, there should be documentation and a walk through available
on MSDN for this. Has anybody else used them? Can anybody give an example of how to use them or point me in the direction of some documentation?
    Thanks
    Lipod

Hi Lipod, your best place to get started with contributors is our
API tutorial (see Solution 2: Filtering at deployment time) and our
dacsamples project on Codeplex. These have more samples than the walkthrough and I think will be more useful in helping you get up and running.
However, having taken a look at those they still don't cover Deployment Extension Configuration files so I'll do my best to explain here. Note: the next paragraph will probably answer your needs, I'm writing more in case others want to know how these can
    be used.
    Configuration with Deployment Contributor Arguments
Deployment Contributor Arguments are key-value pairs that you would generally use to configure your contributor. A good example is the
test code here, that shows how to configure whether ONLINE and MAXDOP values should be set when creating indexes. This is generally how you pass in simple configuration information and what we use in the samples.
It's likely this will solve your requirements.
Configuration with Deployment Extension Configuration Files
Deployment Configuration Files define files that you'd like your contributor to process (note: this happens at build time), and possibly include in the dacpac for processing at the time your contributor runs. The best
example of why you'd use this is if you wanted to include reference data (e.g. data to fill in a ZipCode table) in the dacpac and then add this to the deployment plan.
To include these at build time you must define these in your .sqlproj file and also specify that your deployment contributor is required (e.g. include the <DeploymentContributors>...</DeploymentContributors> section per the
    walkthrough).
    You must also implement the
    OnEstablishDeploymentConfiguration and
    OnApplyDeploymentConfiguration methods.
OnEstablish... runs at build time (project build or when building using the public APIs, which you can use for testing). The important thing to note is we don't save everything into the dacpac by default - you need to "opt in" by either
copying an input file to the output "as is" or
creating a new output file and saving data there. A good example of why this happens is that our pre/post deployment contributors merge multiple files into one single predeploy.sql/postdeploy.sql file.
OnApply... runs at the start of the deployment process and gives you a chance to setup your contributor based on the config files in the dacpac. If you copied an input file/opened an output file it'll be in the dacpac, and now is your chance to get it out.
You can then use it later during the Execute phase.
If you're wondering "why not let me just read my files during OnExecute", really this comes down to a design decision based on ensuring deployment proceeds reliably and all resources are released correctly, with no conflicts on who has access
    to a resource.
For the example of reference data, you would:
    - Define the "DeployReferenceData" contributor in your project, and specify the deployment configuration files.
    - The contributor would read reference data files during OnEstablish and state they should be saved in the dacpac.
    - During build the OnEstablish method will be called (since you specified your contributor's name in the project properties) and the files are saved into the dacpac. It's a zip file, so you can verify that a folder containing the files exists inside the
    dacpac.
    - At deploy time, during OnApply it would read all reference data files out into memory / file storage if too large. It would also set up some kind of reference to their location or even a nice mapping table (table name -> Reference data).
    - At deploy time, during OnExecute it would then add in DeploymentSteps that update the data in the tables using TSQL code. Note that this is another limitation of the current system - we don't suport a generic "Execute" method that could programmatically
be used to deploy a BCP file, for example. If this is something you need, please open a Connect ticket :-)
    - At deploy time, all steps in the plan are executed. Assuming you programmed your TSQL code to use Merge statements or another idempotent process the update should go correctly. If you wrote "Insert" statements there's a good chance it would fail
    on a 2nd deployment.
    Conclusions
The key takeaways are that contributor arguments should solve most of your problems, but for advanced scenarios involving data that can't be defined in a key-value pair of strings then config files are a good alternative. They have some limitations
but provide great power to solve problems. Also the samples are a good place to start for all of this work.
If you have requests for additional samples in this area, or for improvements to the API layer, then open Connect bugs with a good scenario description and we will at least keep this as open issues to be tracked for possible future improvements.

    Kevin

  • How I configure a default value in an entity object?

    Hi,
1:how I configure a default value in an entity object?
    attribute type: DATE
I want to set the current date
    ...thanks

Override the create() action in your entity object implementation:
    protected void create(AttributeList attributeList)
    * This method should be subclassed to supply programmatic default values to
    * various attributes of a new Entity Object. For example, to create a sequence.
    * Instances of subclasses should call super.create() before performing any operations.
    System.out.println("create(AttributeList attributeList) - start");
    Date datSysdate = ( oracle.jbo.domain.Date) Date.getCurrentDate();
    super.create(attributeList);
// set the default to today...
    setHiredate( datSysdate );
    System.out.println("create(AttributeList attributeList) - end");
    }

  • Information on mapping  and how to configure the mapping?

    Hi All
Experts!!!  i am new XI and any one can provide the information mapping ?
Like purpose of mapping? how to configure ? what are different mappings?
            In detail pls...
    Adv..thanks
    Cheers
    Rakesh

    Hi Rakesh,
Mapping means the conversion from a source message (structure) to a target message (structure).
In this operation you define how fields of the target message are filled using fields of the source message.
    You can choose between:
    - graphical message mapping
    - XSLT Mapping
    - Java Mapping
    - ABAP Mapping
Tipically it is preferible to use graphical message mapping because it is easier to develope and mantain. In some cases due to special requirements (high volume of messages or big size of messages) you could prefer to use other type of mapping, have a look at this blog to have an idea:<a href="/people/udo.martens/blog/2006/08/23/comparing-performance-of-mapping-programs">Comparing Performance of Mapping Programs</a>
    Graphical message mapping:
<a href="/people/yukai.shi/blog/2006/06/02/b2b-mapping-techniques-using-the-graphical-mapping-tool Mapping Techniques Using the Graphical Mapping Tool</a>
    Java Mapping:

    <a href="/people/prasad.ulagappan2/blog/2005/06/29/java-mapping-part-iii Mapping (Part III)</a>
    XSLT Mapping:

    ABAP Mapping:

    Additionally,
have a look at this blog <a href="/people/morten.wittrock/blog/2006/03/23/getting-started-with-xi-part-1-xi-30-cheat-sheet started with XI, part 1: XI 3.0 cheat sheet</a>, it could be useful to start with XI.
    Hope it helps,
