How to configure the property file

Is this the correct way of configuring the property file in web.xml.

IT is giving an error "javax.servlet.ServletException: loginid.properties (The system cannot find the file specified)"

Place that properties file in the application classpath Then it will work fine without any problems.

I saw your URL links, But in your link give the recursive deployment using wlst. But my question is how to configure the oracle weblogic library files into Admin server & Managed Servers by using the wls.jar file through wlst script to create the new domain.
But if create the new domain by using GUI mode then we manually give the admin server port number & managed servers port number and name.
By default the library files are configured with the Admin server in GUI mode. But the Managed server the Library files are not configured with the Managed servers. Then we manually select all the library files to the corresponding managed servers. Then only the applications are deployed into the corresponding managed server.

I just want to have a live channel for HLS.
I use the virtual camera to play a viedo. And use the FMLE to publish the viedo.
And I create a m3u8 file named liveevent.m3u8.

How to configure the flat file in 11G

I am using OWB 11.1.0.6.0.
For a map in OWB 10G having a source a flat file. I used to go and right click on the map--> then click Configure-->then Under "Source Data File" type the file name-->then give the location details and the exact flat file name with extention.
IN when i do the same thing the node "Source Data File" is missing?? my question is do we need to configute the data file name and location details some were else in 11.1.0.6.0.
The ERROR I get is
"VLD-2398: No data file specified. Generated code will use the sampled file name and the file location 'FILE_LOCATION1'.
To specify a data file configure the mapping, add a node under 'Source Data File', type in the file name and select the file location."

There should be a node named 'Sql Loader Data Files' in the map's configuration tree (assuming it is a SQLLoader map), if you right click on that node you can create any number of data files, and define the name and location of the file. When you said 10g, were you talking about 10.1?

How will read the property file on dynamically?

I developed 2 java files...in both the files i am reading the some content from .property file(Notes.properties)....
I created the jar file call Aix.jar using the following command.
jar -cvf Aix.jar *.class(without specifying the notes.properties file)...
then i executed the java file using the folowing command
java -cp Notes.jar;Aix.jar NotesToolTest
now i am getting following exception:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
Caused by: java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name Notes, locale en_US
at java.util.ResourceBundle.throwMissingResourceException(Unknown Source)
at java.util.ResourceBundle.getBundleImpl(Unknown Source)
at java.util.ResourceBundle.getBundle(Unknown Source)
at NotesToolTest.<clinit>(NotesToolTest.java:28)
I got the problem why this happening...because notes.properties is not included in jar file...that's why the above exception is coming.
But my problem is can i run the java file that will take .prooperties file dynamically(if .property is available on the current directory)...

because notes.properties is not included in jar file..Wrong. It is simply not available in the classpath.
The solution is either putting the properties file in the classpath of JVM used, or adding the system path to the propertiesfile to the classpath of the JAR.

The Properties class is already a subclass of Hashtable. So if you have a Properties object, you already have a Hashtable. So all you need to do is the first part of that:Properties props = new Properties();
InputStream is = new FileInputStream("tivoli.properties");
props.load(is);

You cant use jdev 11g for OAF development..
You need to download the jdeveloper patch from metalink to develope OAF objects.

So, if I have a structure like this:

/images/
/properties/
And I pack this structure into a jar file, how do I then access the images under "/images/" and the property files under "/properties/"? A link to a good tutorial on this would be perfect, or a description/hint/howto :)

Im having problems even loading direcly from the directory..? I have this structure:
src (source dir)
classes (classes dir)
lang/textRb_en_US.properties (the file I want to load)
Then I have this code:
Locale currentLocale = new Locale("en", "US");
ResourceBundle textRb = ResourceBundle.getBundle("/lang/textRb", currentLocale);But it gives me a "java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name /lang/textRb, locale en_US". I start my application from within Eclipse, and I have tried to move "lang/textRb_en_US.properties" into the classes dir, but same error.
Im confused as to there Java looks for ressources, and I need this to work no matter where I put my classes/jar. Could you help me out here?

I assume you know that Java and JavaScript only share a name and they are both programming languages but little else.
You can load JavaScript in Java 6. However for questions on what the JavaScript should do I suggest you try a javascript forum.

The build number indicates that you have not upgraded to Service Pack 2 of
version 7.0. I will strongly recommend you to do so. That will shield you
from the issues which were fixed in the 2 service packs.

Now i can with my AnyConnect Clients, too, but after connection is up, my vpnclients can't surf the web any longer because anyconnect serves as default route on 0.0.0.0 ... that's bad, too
Actually the AnyConnect and Nat/ACL Problem are my last two open Problems until i setup the second ASA on the right ;-)

Hi Uli,
the previous post is generally correct, but without taking any part in the sensibility of this (there are valid reasons why you would not store the values in a DB) it would be necessary for you to be a bit more specific.
Is your problem that you can not see the file from your EJB or that you don't know how to change a property file entry in general?
