i want to know how to convert an interger variable into string variable
i have to implement a code which goes like this
Chioce ch;
for(int i=0;i<32;i++)
// here i need a code to convert the int variable i into a string variable
ch.add(String variable);
how do i convert that int variable i into a String type variable??
can anyone help me?

Different methods:
int a;
string s=a+"";or
String.valueOf(int) is the better option because Int.toString() generated an intermediate object to get the endresult

When I insert a row in a entity object I want to create another row in another entity object, but when I am setting the attribute for the new row I have a problem.

The error is that variable a is an int, while Attribute1 is a Number.
How can convert an int to a Number.

If a, as you say is an int, and assuming you mean an oracle.jbo.domain.Number,
NameEO2Impl.setAttribute("Attribute1", new oracle.jbo.domain.Number(a));works just fine.

I am currently developing a InDesign (CS5) plugin, where I need to manipulate text variable.
From the plugin I want to convert the "text variable" to string (in principle I should use the method "VariableToString (..)" of "ITextVariable")"
My problem is, how to find the text varial from its name (I think I should use the method "FindLocationsUsed(..)" of "ITextVariableSuite") and then convert it to String
I don't know how to use interfaces ITextVariable and ITextVariableSuite

If you want to convert your int array to a String array, you have no choice but doing a conversion element by element in a for loop.
However, if the sort method doesn't behave as desired, you can use the one with 2 parameters, the second parameter being a comparator class.

I am new in Labview. I use Labview to accquire the output data from a measurement circuit with RS232 bus. The result needs some mathematical operation to have a meaningful number. After this operation the result is a scalar variable that is changing as new data read from my circuit. I want to see the power spectrum of this signal so tried to use FFT block (Labview 6.1, signal processing->frequency domain->real fft / power spectrum). However because the fft block needs 1-D array type of data as input, I can not just connect my result to the fft block. The error it gives me is:

The type of the source is double [64-bit real (~15 digit precision)].
The type of the sink is 1-D array of double [64-bit real (~15 digit precision)].
So I guess I have to do something to convert my result into a 1-D array with a length N, which is the number of data I use for one FFT transform. But the question is how.
I pass the data directly through a For-loop, the result is a 1-D array with all the members having the same value as the input value(my calculated result). Then next time a new result come in, all of the members of that array changes to the new value.

but with this i keep getting an error which says, - cannot resolve symbol - method valueOf(int)

What I mean by the object being null is, say for example, you have the following method:
   public String combine(Object o1, Object o2){
      return o1.toString() + o2.toString();
   }This method will throw a NullPointerException if either or both o1 and/or o2 are null. If you use it like so:
   public String combine(Object o1, Object o2){
      return String.valueOf(o1) + String.valueOf(o2);
   }This will always work. (I know someone out there would say that this would return a String like "nullnull" if both are null, and so forth and so on, but hey, you get my drift.) I'm also not saying the you can't not check if either o1 or o2 is null before proceeding, so the following also works:
   public String combine(Object o1, Object o2){
      String s = null;    // I'm using this instead of StringBuffer for

      if (o1 != null){
          s = o1.toString();
      if (o2 != null){

Where GLyear reprsents Year and GLMN01 is February, GLMN02 is March and so on,
Now i want my output to be something like this which i want to insert into another table

My new table has 3 columns, GLYear,GLMonth,GLAmount.
Can someone please help me with the select statement on how to do this, i can work with the inserts.

I would like to know how to pass a JavaScript variable into a java method with in a <% %> tag inside a JSP file like so:

obviously "System.out.println(myValue)" will not work because myValue is seen as a java variable and not a JavaScript variable.
I would like to know how to let the jsp file, that I wrote in the above code, see myValue as a JavaScript variable and not a java variable so that I can pass it to a java method.
NOTE: the java method does not have to be a println() method, it can be any method of my choice.
NOTE: someDynamicValue is a JavaScript value that can dynamically change

I don't believe you can. JSPs are really just elaborate templates that an engine such as Tomcat parses and generates an HTML page based on. That page is then displayed to the user. By the time you want to use some function in Javascript, the JSP has already been parsed and generated.
Basically, Javascript and JSPs can't talk to each other. One's server-side and the other is client-side.

I tried to convert a pdf file into word but it is not fully editable. I can edit the title from the main page and that's it. The rest of the word document is saved as image. I tried editing teh pdf file but that one is not working either.

Not all PDF files are created equal. When a PDF file is created with Adobe Tools it is usually "tagged" with information about the fonts the images, the layout etc... This way when the PDF is saved to a new format like PPT or DOC then the results are usually usable. However, if you have a PDF file that was not tagged for some reason then run the Accessibility tools on the PDF to acquire some basic tagging. This may get you a better result. Also if you have a PDF that is an image, then you may want to run OCR on it.
