How to copy the value of default view textbox into another view textbox
I create one form library and customizing in infopath 2010. on this default view one textbox is placed. in which user will enter his name.
I create another view. in which i also place second textbox. I want when user put his name in default view textbox and save the form . then his name also copy into another view textbox .
Kindly let me know how to do this ?

In Mirror Text Box, the default value would be the Field A. The default value you specified by right click on Mirror Text Box --> Properties...

as seen in the subject i need to copy selected values from a table control into another table control in the same screen. as i dont know much about table controls i made 2 table controls with the wizard and started to change the code... right now im totally messed up. nothing works anymore and i don't know where to start over.
i looked up the forums and google, but there is nothing to help me with this problem (or i suck in searching the internet for solutions)
i have 2 buttons. one to push the selected data from the top table control into the bottom tc and the other button is to push selected data from the bottom tc into the top tc. does somebody has a sample code to do this?you're funny

How to use the value of a variable to set another variable
Hello Experts,
Is it possible to access the value of variable set by the user and set the default value of another variable using the user entered value for the first variable? Example:

Week variable
Month variable
User enters one of those and the other two are automatically prefilled with the correct values?

How to get the value in one JSP page to another?

I have problems in passing the value around in JSP. I have two JSP pages as below:
test1.jsp
I try to get the vaule from my textbox by using:
String strUser = request.getParameter ("strUserName");
Then i print out by using: out.print(strUser); then i can get the value and put on my page (For example, i get ABC on my page).
test2.jsp
Next, i want to get the value from strUser (which mean that the one i already display on page in test1.jsp, ABC) to insert into my table by using INSERT INTO statement. Then i try by using
String strUser1 = request.getParameter ("strUser");
Is it possbile for me to do that? I cannot get anything to insert into my table. Then i tried out.print(strUser1); then i found that i get NULL value.
Could you please give me some guidance?

I have a requirement in which i have been provided with two tables(T1,T2) of same table structure ,i need to copy their entries into a table view with the same structure as the two tables(T1,T2) .

the view should have all the entries,duplicate values no issues ...

I want to do the second one - "add the bookmarks from the desktop to those that already exist on the other computer"
The problem is that my Firefox is version 4.0. I read somewhere in the bookmarks topics that I should have done nothing before upgrading to version higher than 12.
The thing is my computer is 8 years old and I have only 512 MB RAM. There is no way to upgrade more that v.4.0. My computer can not handle it.

How to copy a node from one dom document to another?
I have one dom document that I have to split up into multiple dom documents. I am able to get the inividual nodes that I want to put into seperate documents.
My problem occurs when I create a new dom document and try to add the node from the parent document. I get an exception saying (copied from api: WRONG_DOCUMENT_ERR: Raised if newChild was created from a different document than the one that created this node. )
How can I make it so that I can copy a node from one document and add it to another.Have you checked out the API called importNode in the DOM Document. It lets you move nodes between different documents.
This api lets you simply copy the existing node from one document into another. without creating any new nodes for it.

Copying a page from one picture book into another
Does anyone know how to copy a page from one picture book into another. I have made 2 books and would like to make a third consisting of pages from the first 2 but seem unable to do it without starting again, or at least starting from a duplicate of one and re doing all the missing pages.

print each page you want to include in "book 3" to a PDF and use the send PDF to iPhoto option - this will give you the pages as images in iPhoto that you can them place into "book 3"
