How to create a dialog that takes inputs from user!!!!!!

anyone has any idea about creating a dialog that takes user input? some thing like login GUI. thank you. it would be better if you can provide some sample codes.

RMI that ask input from user..

i've been trying to understand the programming for 2weeks!!but still i cant figure out how to get input from client and server process the input and return it to the client.
can somebody PLEASEEEEE give me a complete simple program that got all the interfaces,client,server and implementation RMI code.Please give me a complete code that i can run that does this:-
1st-server ask client for input of two numbers.
2nd-the client give 2 input
3rd-server compute the number and return it to the client
i am so lost on how to implement the io in RMI.The program that im supposed to build is much more complicated than this,but right now,i just need to know how the heck to use the input output thing in RMI.

3. Write a main() that instantiates the remote object and binds it to the local Registry.
4. Write a client that does (1) above. Then have it get an instance of the remote interface by looking up the Registry on the server machine, and then have it call the remote method.

How to create an dialog "SAPoffice express info" in ABAP?

Hi all,
We would like to create a dialog "SAPoffice express info" to remind the relevant user that he must immediately check his new SAP mail in inbox.
We see SAP system sometimes send a dialog "SAPoffice express inof" for this same purpose. For example:
"Express document "Cannot be sent: Send Mail from ABAP Program." received from author "SAPUSER"".
So we would like to create a dialog "SAPoffice express info" for our cas.
If anyone know how to create a dialog "SAPoffice express info" in ABAP, please help us?

Try with function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. using this you can send express message to sap office.

How to create conditional dialog box

Hi Everyone
I am creating a database application in APEX 4.0. In that application a page requires a dialog box, which has to appear when a user clicks on Submit button.
It has to consider validations and appear after validations and submit button is clicked. Here the Submit button submits the entire page after validations by updating the database table.
Please help me out how to create a dialog box which has to appear by the click of Submit button.

Sorry for providing the complete details.
Provided link is much more helpful, but its not meeting my needs. My requirement is to just show a popup box after the user clicks on submit button.
Saying 'Thank you for answering' if he is done with all questions or if he has more questions to answer pop up with different message 'You have more questions to answer'.
In both the cases page as to get submitted when clicked on Submit button.

Does any one know how to create an applet that shows a pdf document (should make that pdf a non-editable one) while clicking a link.Its urgent for me as I have to complete this one tomorrow itself...please help me...
I am able to view the pdf document but that cannot be make a non-editable one.
Can anyone gave me the code for that one....please I am not very much good in Java.

PDF is a proprietary format and Java doesn't support it by default. Are you using a 3rd party tool to create the PDF? If so, you need to review the developer docs to see how to make the document non-editable. Frankly, I don't see why you're using an Applet to view a PDF in the first place. What exactly are you trying to do. I'm confused.

Which kind of pulse you are measuring ?? You are saying that you want to count a number of pulses and then when you get to a limit (which will be between 3 and 10) you want to output a pulse ?

I'm new to SAP B1 Workflow, i have created some workflows and they all worked fine.
But, I am wondering, How can i get input from user?. For example, i want to display list of options to choose between them and route the workflow based on the selected option. I don't want to use the exclusive gateway and check for some conditions, i want to get input from user.

Hi Gurus,
How to create a blanket Release in iProcurement from a approved requisition. I have followed the below steps.
1. Created a BPA from Front end.
2. Run Loader Data program.
3. Above program reflected the BPA in iProc.
4. Created requisition from BPA.
5. Requisition has been approved.
After this i am stuck. How to proceed ahead. I want to create a Blanket Release from approved PR and then receive in iProcurement.
please help me on this. We are using 11.5.10.2

When you say system is automatically creating release..as far as i know...it should be referencing a PO..correct...in the releases window..
can you pull that up..and see if you can get any clue..bcz that PO would BPA...
Also I am not that much into Iproc...I don't know...whether Iproc has some other setups

1) If you are runnning reports in Unix, you can give
.... destype=file desformat=pdf desname=<filename>
in command line
