How to create a new page in SRM5.0 and return data

Hi,Everyone,
    I want to create a new page,for example:
     when user select a po item,and then we want to create a custom button at po item basic data screen,when user click the custom button,
    we want to pop up a new page for our custom logic.at the pop up page,when user complete some data selection, and then the data should return or refresh to po item.
   And now,I have a question for that:
    How can i return or refresh data(for example,the price) to po item. I have create a bsp page for our pop-up page.

How to create a new bundle of service and import it as normal user.

Hi,
I have created a service.
Now am able to import and enable the service.
I have placed my xml file under
/var/svc/manifest/site
The service name is
<service
name='site/newservice'
I have imported the service as root user.
<exec_method type='method' name='start' exec='/tmp/new/method/newservice start' timeout_seconds='30' />
This service is not able to execute the operation which I have mentioned above. The following error is thrown in log file.
Error: User 'root' is not the owner of '/tmp/new/method'
So I tried to import the service as normal user, the following error is thrown.
svccfg import /var/svc/manifest/site/newservice.xml
svccfg: Could not create temporary service "TEMP/site/newservice" (permission de nied).
svccfg: Import of /var/svc/manifest/site/newservice.xml failed. Progress:
svccfg: Service "site/newservice": not reached.
svccfg: Instance "newservice": not reached.
Please help me to solve this issue.
I thought instead of placing the service in default location,Why cant we create a new service of bundle and place the service there.
Please help to solve this issue by suggesting some solution or how to create a new bundle of service and import it as normal user.

I've been trying to solve this for like 2 hours and still haven't found the way!
When you create a new page in iWeb, it automatically adds its name into the navbar and creates a new page and folder with its content. Well, I want to create a new page that is a link to an outside webpage opening in a new tab. How do i do this? Editing the new page .html? I've tried that, but what should I write?
Anyway, hope somebody can give me a hand...

Till now I have only worked with Flat files. I want to create an R/3 source system and extract data from there on to my Info Providers.

1. Type Transaction WE30. Check iDoc types
2. Type Transaction SM59. Maintain RFC destinations
a.) Open the RFC Destinations. b.) Find your Source System and double click on it. c.) Technical setting should contain information regarding yoursource system d.) Logon Information should contain source system client and name & password for you remote logon. We use RFC_SAB for BW logon to R/3 and RFC_AAE for R/3 logon to BW. Password for both is always xxxxxxx. e.) Execute your 'Test Connection' & 'Remote Logon'. You should NOT be prompted for a password, if you are then the logon info is incorrect. f.) Repeat above to verify RFCs for other systems (CRM etc)
3. Type Transaction WE21. iDoc Processing Ports.
a.) Select 'Ports' and then 'Transactional RFC'. b.) Click on the Port # for you source system. c.) Verify description & SAP R/3 version.(BW 2.1C should be release 4.x) d.) RFC Destination should be one created in SM59. If non-existent then create one

How to create a "News" Content area with an effective date

I have a requirement to create a content area such that each item which is uploaded
will have an effective viewing date range. I know I can create a custom item type
and prompt for the Start View Date, and the End View Date.
Questions...
1. How do I 'filter' the displayed content so that the 'news' item only show up
if the current System Date is between the Start/End View dates ?
2. Exception, the Content Manager should be able to see the entire news content
items regardless of the system date ?
Page parameter mapping seems like a partial solution, but I don't see how to
create the folder filter predicate like "where SYSDATE between view_start and view_end.

I think you need to create a custom plugin to create the value of new attribute and populate it, may be post plugin in OID.

Im creating a website for my baseball team. I have a Varsity website but I want to create a new page for Rosters, and another page for schedules, etc.... Is there a way to create a page and not have it show up on the header as a link? Ill create a hyperlink to the other pages, but I dont want my header clutter with links to every single page, just to the main ones.

for example,

It sounds as if what you are wanting to do in the Pages application is to insert a Page Break. Follow the steps in this article -
Pages '09: Inserting a Page Break
In a word processing document, click where you want the break to occur, and then choose Insert > Page Break.
To remove a page break, click at the beginning of the line that follows the break and press the Delete key.
In a page layout document, to insert a new page in your document, click Pages in the toolbar and choose from the template page options available.

I do not know why you start talking about an image on the web then go on to show concerns about whether it will work for a 'local' URL.
But perhaps this answer will cover the possibilities.
So long as you can from an URL to the image, and the bytes are available for download (e.g. some web sites wrap a direct call to an image in HTML that embeds the image), the URL based icon constructors will successfully load it.
It does not matter if that URL points to
- a web site,
- a local server ('localhost'),
- an URL representation of a File on the local file system, or
- it is inside a Jar file that is on the application's run-time classpath.
How you go about forming a valid URL to a 'local resources' (or indeed what you regard as local resources) is another matter, depending on the form of the project, and how the resources are stored (see list above).
Probably the main reason that examples use images at a hard coded URL on the net is that it makes an 'image example' self contained. As soon as we compile and run it, we can see the result. I have posted a few examples like that on these forums.
