How to create a customizing table? what should be the delivery class for this customizing table?
how to to maintain table maintainance geneartor?
Please explain me step by step:
and also please explain me how to create a view?

Hello Lisa,
Use transaction SE11 and enter the name of the table (ZABC) and execute CREATE. Enter the required fields which u need in the table select the fields which are primary keys. Make sure your first field in the table is MANDT and is also a key. and press save...Your table is created.
the delivery class depends on the nature of the table you created. If the table you created is used to maintain transactional data like sales order numbers, deliveries etc then use set the delivery calss = 'A' but if you table will be used a config table let us say for this delivery type and shipping point ....FLAG = 'X' and if you use this table in the program to determine certain actions to be done like create transfer orders for deliveries if FLAG = 'X', in these kind of situations you use delivery class = 'C' where the table not not be populated with transactional data.
Once the table is created click on "Utilities -> Table Maintenance Generator -> on the scree enter the authorization group if none then enter &NC&, function group = name of the table (ZABC) and execute CREATE which can be found in the titile

I have four fields in my custom table....first field is key field and second one is non key (text descritpion of first field) , third fields is key field and fourth is again
as text field non key..

now when we are enteing from SM30 ... my requirement as per functional is
i have to make zzfaart field as primary key......... i have made it since that is first field.
now he wants zzorgcode as also primary key......... as per the table condtion i cannot
give zzorgcode as primary key as all the key fields should be in order..........but the functional say he wants in third place only............he saying we can see so many place in confiugration's in spro....where
when we enter first field the second field (text ) will be automatically populated.......
(this point iam able to do....) and the third field will be primary key...
however iam not able to do is to make the zzorgcode as primary key ............as he wants that tobe grated out as well once we enter the value and he wants it to make primary key so that no duplicates can be entered.
Please let me know how to do this point....

Please note that table name should start with 'Y' or 'Z' - by SAP naming conventions object names starting with 'Y' and 'Z' are reserved for customer application development.

how to create custom infotype and how to configure with its subtypes. when i am creating infotypes i am not getting how to configure subtypes.
plz help me for this with an example code.

Hi Kiran,
Please fallow the below steps to create the custom infotype. If you have any quires let me know.
For Creation of Infotype first Go to Transaction PM01, Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create, it should be a 4 digit number and have to start with 9xxx.
then select the `Employee Infotype' radio button
after that select the `PS Structure Infotype'
then click on Create A separate table maintenance window appears
then Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the infotype
Save and Activate the PS structure
now Go back to the initial screen of PM01
Click on `All' push button. It takes a few moments
Click on `Technical Characteristics. Infotype list screen appears
Click on `Change'(pencil) button
Now select your Infotype and click on `Detail' (magnifying glass) button
Give `T591A' as subtype table & also Give `T591S' as subtype txt tab
Give your subtype field as subtype field & Save and come back to PM01 initial screen
Click on `Infotype Characteristics' Infotype list screen appears
Click on `Change' (pencil) button & on New Entries
and then Enter your Infotype number and short text Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference
to fill yours). Now save ur entries
Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your
requirement
In the PM01 initial screenSelect `Screen' radio button and give
2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.
In the next screen.. Select `Layout Editor' and click `Change'.
Screen default layout appearshere you can design/modify the
screen..change the attributes of the fields..etc.
Save and activate. (Don't forget to `Activate at every level)

Steps To Create Custom IDOC
1.Create Segment Type (WE31)
Go to Transaction code WE31
Enter Segment type, click on Create
Give Description
Enter the Necessary Fields & Data Elements for those Fields.
Save the Changes.
2.Create Idoc Type (WE30)
Go to transaction code WE30
Enter the Object Name, select Basic type and click Create icon
Select the create new option and enter a description for your basic IDOC type and press enter
Select the IDOC Name and click Create icon
The system prompts us to enter a segment type and its attributes
Choose the appropriate values and press Enter
The system transfers the name of the segment type to the IDOC editor.
Follow these steps to add more number of segments to Parent or as Parent-child relation
Save it and go back
Go to Edit -> Set release
3.Create Message Type (WE81)
Go to transaction code WE81
Change the details from Display mode to Change modenAfter selection, the system will give this message The table is cross-client (see Help for further info). Press EnternClick New Entries to create new Message Type
Fill details
Save it and go back
4.Assign Idoc Type to Message Type (WE82)
Go to transaction code WE82
Change the details from Display mode to Change moden After selection, the system will give this message The table is cross-client (see Help for further info). Press Enter.
Click New Entries to create new Message Type.
Fill details
Save it and go back

Actually the columns to be displayed are not constant . It will be increased based on the database values, Anyhow it will not exceed 100.
Please confirm my understanding.
1. In this case I have to create 100 custom columns and make it visible / invisible based on my requirement and I can set the title at runtime.
2. How can i assosicate / reassociate the datadictionary reference for the columns that i use. Because I need to show the search help values for the
dynamic columns.
Your opinion on this will be helpful.

Hi Soumendra,
I think you are stuck in creating the InfoCube (IC), when you create the IC you need to have 3mandatory dimensions like time, unit and data packet as well as Customer defined like say Customer, Product etc.
You need to insert them in IC and activate them.

Hi Gnanasekarn,
You can create TOC in webi using Open Document, You can create link on the TOC and you can connect that link to open new report .
With the help of open document you can open the specific portion of report.
So you can achive your requirement using URL reporting or Open Document.

Hi Trevor,
Thanks for your help. We were able to create table and load data till Apr as attached.
However the analytic user privilege has been modified on Apr due to server operation.
Since then, there was a message saying there is no permission to create tables in the analytic log,
analytic user privilege has been granted after checked this message, As I suspected, the issue occurred after modifying analytic user privilege.
Currently, analytic users are granted with all privilege.
Any idea please?

Hi,
Your question is not clear for me. Since it is a TEM infotype, it could be a PD infotype.
If you wish to create a PD infotype, use transaction PPCI to create the infotype.
But before that you need to create a structure HRInnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.
If you wish to create a PA infotype, use transaction PM01 to create the infotype.
But before that you may be required to create a strcuture PSnnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.
