How to create hyperlink on a Dashboard page

Hi,
I need to have some text on a Dashboard Page which will be hyperlinked to some request. I am not seeing any option to do that in OBIEE, when i had used Link or Image option i am not able to design the dashboard page as i am not able to format the text and also the alignment, is there any other way i can do that, i just want text that will be hyperlinked and formatted in a way that is appealing. I do not need any columns for any tables.

try this using portalpath instead of GoUrl,
Create a narrative view with some code like below, which navigate to the dashboard you are refering..
[a href=saw.dll?Dashboard&PortalPath=/shared/Sample/MainDB&page=Index> Main Page </a]
where portalpath refers to path of the dashboard, and page refers to the page name.
In narrative view you enhance the visuality as you want using html...

Is it tag OR Tab ? Seems like you are looking for Tab. Look at [1] & overlay to custamize per your need. Or define at your page component.

1) User templates
2) Headers
3) Footers
4) Page numbers
and it is not compatible with Pages for OSX, a document cannot be edited alternatively on Mac and iPad without destroying headers and footers.
- The Word export is far from perfect
- Does not really support Page Layout mode (you cannot duplicate a page at least)
- Does not have a multi-page overview
- The spelling support of iOS and OSX is at the level of Apple Maps except 4-5 languages.
- It takes a long time until it starts
INSTEAD, according to the latest updates:
- It can do change tracking
- Lock and unlock objects
- Add reflections to shapes
Dear Apple, please understand:
- We like iPad and we wish to use it for real work.
- We wish to have user templates, headers, footers and page numbers.
- We do not expect all the features of Pages for OSX, but we do expect real compatibility.
- We do not wish to switch back to Word for Windows unless you force us.
Please try to concentrate on real development not on unimportant changes like in the latest dissapointing update.

its very urgent.
I have two pages first page like header level and secound page like lines level.
in first page having requestid lov,find,create buttons and advance table region.
secound page having only advance table region with add another button and save button.
in first page, once click on the create button one requestid(header) is generated in header leval and at the same time that requestid move to secound page requestid column and user select the application name and responsibilityname and user click on the add another row button it ll add one more row with same requestid and here user again enter application name and resp name and click on the save button the data insert to two different tables.header information insert to one table and line information insert to another table.
here my problem is in first page having requestid lov and find button. the user click on the find button all the requestids displayed in advance table region(this is only header information).once user select particular requestid and click on that requestid, it ll displays particular requestid line information to next page.
how to create link on requestid column.
how to achive this plz help me.

I did this from the advanced menu to make all hyperlinks work. All I got were boxes around my links that are not clikcable to the web page.
Now I cannot undo this.

Hi, I have Adobe Acrobat Professional. I need to know how to create multi-links on 300 page docs

I need to know how to create multi-links on a 300 page document, showing "return to main Menu". Ideally placed on the bottom right of each page. I have adobe acrobat Professional.

Import a picture to be a button, place it, activate HYPERLINK tool, draw a rectangle around the whole button, in the window popping up select the link behaviour, submit with OK.
Then copy & paste the button object to every page. I don't know whether pasting it on every of the 300 pages can be automated, but if not, it is still done quite fastly.

I am trying to create a cascading selection feature in a page.
That is:
Suppose I have a data in Oct. Nov. DEC. in 1998, May, June, July, August in 1999, and Sep. Oct, Nov. in 2000, Jan., Feb., Mar., in 2001.
If I choose 2000 in the first selection box then in the second selection box(month box) will show only Sep., Oct., Nov.,. I could create this feature with select and redirect with selection box.
However I want to create one with Multi_selection box.
Does anyone knows how to create one with multi selection box or check box?

Sorry Could not understand ur problem exactly.
Anyhow a solution for ur problem is to use a select list with submit option for the first select list.
for second select list in the LOV part write the query with the where clause:
where a = :b(where b is the first select list)

I call the function module "GOS_EXECUTE_SERVICE" with :

Then, I enter the title and the address.
And, I have the message : "The attachment was successfully created".
But when there's nothing in the attachment list of the billing document.
(Tha table SOOD contains the record )
If any one has some idea about his , how to achieve this functionality, can you please help me.

How to create Chart within a web page NOT as seperate page?

Hi, I am using JCharts and am trying to figure out how (or if it is even possible) to create a chart and then place it in a web page. All the examples I've seen show you how to create a JPEG of the chart and then link to this image from your web page. Is it not possible to surround the JPEG chart with other HTML so that I can keep my web page logo and menu etc on the same page as the chart?
I can't find any examples which show how to surround your images with HTML as JCharts creates a JPG file and returns that in the Http Response e.g. "ServletEncoderHelper.encodeJPEG13(axisChart, 1.0f, response);".
My environment is Java 1.4.2, Struts and Tomcat 4.1.30.
Is there a way of drawing charts directly into a web page rather than displaying them on a seperate page as an image file?

in html, there exists an img-tag. this tag contains a parameter called src. And if you want to embedd an image in your html-page, you will put the source of the image you want to display to the src-parameter. The same with servlets or java server pages. For the browser it doesn't matter where the html comes from. it doesn't matter if it has to be generated by an servlet-container like tomcat. So you write a servlet, which will create an image and make it accessible to your servlet container and then insert an tag like
<html>
<body>
<img src="http://yourdomain/servlet?param=value" width=aNumber height=aNumber>
</body>
</html>This can be done because servlets can be configured to response with images which can be created by java2d or something else...
