You should be able to leverage the split method.
In PowerShell It would look like:

In jsp how to extract the value from a name obtained from javascript?
It's few time i program in Java and i'm involved in an application that uses javascript to communicate between pages. I've the follow problem: in my jsp page i must process a string, but this string is produced from a javascript function. But in jsp, out of javascript function, how can i access to the value of that string of which i see from Javascript only its name?
My string is already in a form, but i have not the request because data transmission happens through javascript: i've tried to write
request.getParameter("StringName")
and i've not found compilation mistakes but in execution the application gives error (maybe it doesn't find the request in the caller page) -
How do i remove "network" from Mac Name Devices?
Im currently setting up an apple network to work with my Active Directory and so far so good. I have Active Directory authenticating users and open directory restricting access to features. In Finder i have been able to create a policy to remove the objects from the side panel e.g shared, places and devices. My problem is i am unable to remove "network" from clicking "mac name". The reason for me doing this is because it opens a massive security hole in my network. When i map/mount a windows directory e.g The users home directory, it then displays every share on that server apart from the hidden shares when you go to network>servername. Its not possible to hide all the shares because they are needed by windows e.g Netlogon and SYSVOL. So my question is how can i remove or can i remove Network
ThanksBut they can also be accessed by Windows, also when they are NOT visible. So just by hiding the folder, you don't add any security. If it had to be accessed there is always a way to without seeing the symbol. Set up ACL permissions for the shares so users can only access data they are authorized to.

Dear Sirs,
I would be very grateful if you could advise in the following problem. I need that an arbitrary function, say f(x)=x^2+sin(x), was entered in the GUI textfield and then this function could be placed, e.g. in a loop for other mathematical calculations. The java program should understand that this is not a text but a mathematical expression. How can I achieve this? I would like to make an online java solver for ordinary differential equations (ODE) system in my university. Therefore the student should define somehow this ODE system, i.e. mathematical expressions, in my Java program.

How to define mapping from multiple files to Oracle Tables in 9i
Around 100-200 Flat files are created every 30 minutes and each filename is different - Filename has datetime Stamp as part of the file name apart from the product code as first 12 characters.
Can anyone guide me in How to define mappings to these files using OWB ?
What I can do is consolidate all files into one known single file name and map the files to Oracle tables which I don't want to do because I need to reject errorneous files.
Can anyone provide me some tips on this ?

Sohan.As you know, in OWB you need to define the flat file source in a 'static' way (name, location, etc. have to be defined previously), so you cannot deal directly with dinamically generated file names. One solution would be to consolidate them into a single file (which you can define statically in OWB), but prefix every record with the filename. In this way it is easy to understand from which file the rejected records came from. If you are using unix, it is very easy to write a script to do this. Something like this will do:
awk '{printf "%s,%s\n",FILENAME,$1}' yourfilename >> onefile
where yourfile is the name of the file you are currently processing, while onefile is the name of the consolidated file. You can run this for all files in your directory by substituting yourfilename with * .
You can then disregard the file name field in OWB, while processing the rejected records based on the file name prefix by using unix utilities like grep and similar.

I opened a report in Disco Desktop 4 -> Resonsibiolity --> Report Name.
So I know Report name but don’t know which Business Area it belongs to.
How to find Business Area Name from Report Name?

There is no relationship between reports and business areas. Each report can be built from many folders. Each folder can be in many business areas.
However you can try the following SQL which may give you the result you want for an v5 EUL. You will have to modify for Discoverer 4 EUL:

I have an irritating problem with mail autofilling info in email addresses. Emails sent to me the from looks like this: Holiday in the United States <my email address>. I have no idea what this Holiday in the United States is or how it got to be there...How can I fix/change to my name?
I fixed the To: autofilling incorrectly by deleting my email address from the Previous Recipients List, but is there a way to stop that from coming up on emails that I receive?Have you checked your Mac address book? If your email is saved somewhere in your address book with the name "Holidays in the United States" it might be adding the name automatically in Mac Mail.
Alternatively, try this:
Delete an Email Address from Auto-Complete in Mac OS X Mail
To remove an email address from the auto-complete list in Mac OS X Mail:
Start typing the recipient's address or name in a new message.
Select the desired address from the auto-complete list as if you'd compose an email to them.
Click the small down arrow in the recipient.
Select Remove from Previous Recipients List from the menu.
You can also search for the unwanted address directly in the previous recipients list:
Select Window | Previous Recipients from the menu in Mac OS X Mail.
Highlight the address you want to remove.You can highlight multiple addresses by holding down the Command key.
Click Remove from List.

I am having an issue with duplicate Libraries showing up in my Home Sharing "Home Videos". It happens when I import home videos into iTunes and change the names of the files. How do I avoid this from happening and delete the duplicate libraries?
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.
