  • How to delete 'Profile Installations' like 'FreeAppSlots' ?

I installed a web app on my iphone 5 called FreeAppSlots. When I opened the web app
it said FreeAppSlots 'Profile Installation' requied to use the app.
I installed it; and after a while deleted the web app from the home screen.
I would like to know if the profile installation also gets deleted along with it or whether it has
    to be done seperately.
If it does not get deleted along with it I would like to know how this can be done.

  • How to delete parameter which is not in any of the profile

    Hi Gurus,
SAP has asked us to delete following parameters:
    - vmcj/option/gc/sharedWaterMark
    - vmcj/option/percentageSharedClasses
    - vmcj/option/percentageCopyOnlySC
I DO NOT see any of the above mentioned parameters in any of the profiles, but when I use report "RSPFPAR" in Thx. SE38 it shows  me parameters with current values.
    My question is as follow:
    1. Where (in which profile) I can find the parameters, if NOT where are they comming from.
    2. If they are NOT in any of the profiles, how can I remove them.
    Please advise
Thanks in advance for your professional help.

    >I don't see any connection with new user and system profiles.
Because there is not ! The previous answer is completely out of topic...
I already gave the answer : Deleting profile parameters means that there are no more in the profile files (or RZ10) but it means also that they still exist with their default value. One can see them from RZ11 or RSPARAM.
So "deleting" a profile parameter means : get back to the default value.

  • How to delete candidate profiles from e-recruitment

    Hi Experts,
Could you please advice on how to delete the candidate profiles from the backend, could you please let me know the configuration required to perform this. Is there a standard background job or standard procedure of deleting candidates?
    Regards,
    Praveen

    Hello Praveen,
some time ago SAP delivered a solution to delete eRec data based on the information lifecycle management (ILM) within a bigger renewal of data deletion for SAP HR. This is the state of the art approach on data deletion for eRec. The best place to start with this topic should be note 1634262 which contains several documents on the topic. Furthermore it documents that using the ILM for this case is included in the standard ERP license so you do not have extra costs.
If you have any additional questions after checking the documents in the note feel free to ask.
    Kind Regards

  • How do i restore a  deleted profile on my imac?

How do i restore my (main) deleted profile on my imac?

This could prove tricky. Do you have a Time Machine backup with the old user you could restore to - or a clone?
When you deleted the previous user you were probably presented with the option to save it or delete it. If you said 'yes' to saving it, I think (not 100% sure on this) that if you click on Macintosh HD>Users there may be an archive saying something like 'previous user...' or something to that effect, which hopefully you can restore.
Failing that, I think it's gone.

  • [iPhone] How to delete Provisioning Profile, AppID (for device testing)

Hi, on the developer portal, I'd like to get rid of the appID and provisioning profile.
I have already deleted the certificate.
I had removed the profile from Xcode organizer and that also removed the profile from my iPhone.
However, http://developer.apple.com/iphone/manage/provisioningprofiles/index.action continues to list the profile. Its status is now marked as "Invalid" and clicking on the "Modify" button does nothing
Does anyone know how to remove the profile from my program-portal settings. I'm assuming the profile is invalid because I've deleted the certificate.
The ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles directory is empty and I have no other subdirectories under ~/Library/MobileDevice. So I don't know where this profile is coming from
I'd also like to delete the appID. Does anyone know how to delete an appID
Btw I'm deleting all this because of the problem described in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1735100

After I added a second provisioning profile, the http://developer.apple.com/iphone/manage/provisioningprofiles/index.action page gave me a button to delete the first profile.
So I was able to delete the first provisioning profile.
I haven't found any way to delete an App ID.
So for now, I'm just going to assume that Apple doesn't let developers remove any App IDs (even though it is the developers who create these App IDs)
However, aside from the unnecessary clutter, I'm not concerned about this limitation
was able to create a new App ID and I'm using the new AppID now.
I was able to fix the problem decsribed in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1735100. I'll update that thread after a while.

  • How can I recover a deleted profile?

Look I was receiving a 400 Bad Request error from firefox on certain pages, looking for technical information I read that problem was probably that some files may get corrupted and the best thing to do is to create a new profile and import my old profile info into my new one, all of this using the ProfileManager app. from Firefox.
I read some pages on the subject and created a new profile called, then I wanted to use a different name for the profile and different folder so I decided to delete this newly created profile. Notice I didn't transfer any files or info from the old one to the new one yet.
So I used the delete profile feature on ProfileManager and when asked I choose to delete files, I repeat I only selected the newly created profile for selection didn't touch my 'default' profile where all my info was supposed to be still.
Then I tried to open firefox using my default (old) profile I get a message saying: Firefox cannot open default profile because it's in use. To continue either close the firefox instance or choose a different profile.
Looking at the profiles folder it seems the ProfileManager also deleted the folder and archives on my default profile folder and I never choose this option I only tried to delete the newly created profile.
However ProfileManager is still listing the default profile because the profile.ini file still has the following entrance:
    7ckk3nl1.default
Which is the one of my default (old) profile.
I think I'm screwed however wonder if there is a way in which I can recover my old (default) profile which I never intended to delete.
I'm working on a Windows XP platform.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to delete saved passwords in SQL Developer User Profiles

    Hi
Can anyone advise on how to delete (or flush-out) saved passwords in SQL developer connections? I have a serious security concern about saved passwords at user level and need a quick method to remove them from the backend without actual user's intervention.
An early response is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    UJ

I have a serious security concern about saved passwords at user levelIf you could share more about your concerns, it might help us address or alleviate said concerns. Basically if your user's desktops are secure, then so are the passwords.
To delete them w/o user intervention you would need to delete their connections by removing the file(s) from their installs. To prevent the problem from happening again, you'd need to put down a new sqldeveloper.conf file in their bin directory that would keep them from saving passwords - example here

  • How to delete applications from mac pro?

I think many people struggling at "How to delete appalications from Mac pro ,just because you made some mistakes or curious !" I know it is a bit difficut for people who are new users for the Mac .
If you really don't want them ,you can delete them easily,
As all you know after you download appalications from anywhere  ,it could be from apple app store or from other websites. They all can be disspeared if you don't like them .
First , If you installed from apple app store  it will be really easily  just click at the app on the launchpad, after few seconds all the apps will be all shaking like leaves ,yes they are scared .(No No  don't delete me  I am helpful !) Ok yes  that is a little joke ! so what you can see now there is a small "x" at the top right corner .Can you see them ? just click the "x" And they will gone .
Second step. This is only for you downoaded from other websites , In that case  , you just skip first step come to here  in order to save you some golden time .
You can delete them from the launchpad , I have tried many times . i tried to drug them in the the trash . But after them all jump back to where they are , So you need to open the Finder ---> click the download -----> find the file which is belong to the app (make sure ) ------->click it  -----> drug it into the trash. then you can hear a little sound like you through it into the bin. it is really humanny  isn't it ? then go back to the finder again .---->click the application -------> find the icon on there which is you just drag into the trash.  do it again . take this one into the trash as well  then you will find the icon on the launchpad is disppeared . at the end don't forget to empty your trash   After that all job done , it is been deleted  ,
    Well done !
Hope this could help all of your!
    Thanks for reading !

I want to know how to delete words from the custom dictionary in the spell checker that I put there by mistake.

In your profile directory, the file is '''persdict.dat''' and you should know how to get to your profile. One way is to enter '''about:support''' in the location bar then click on "Open Containing Folder". Or go through the Help menu > Troubleshooting Information > ...
You can edit with wordpad, or notepad++, but not with notepad,
because there is one word per line and you will not see that in notepad after Firefox has updated it.  Update after closing Firefox.

  • How to delete the Transport Request?

    Hi all,
I want to delete the Transoport Request from Production Box( we have 2 request number... one child another one parent). I released the Child Request. Now i want to delete that request. we don't have setup in our production Box i think(in order to release that we don't have setup in Production Box).
Any Idea? I know how to delete that Transport Request. If i try to release that i'm getting TP(Transport Profile error) <b>with return Code 12</b>. it suppose to handle by Basis. My basis consultant is not aware of how to work on this?
    Regards,
    Nagesh Ganisetti.

I am not sure I understand.
You release the request in the system you created, not in another system (in your case production). It will then go to the import queue of the target system.
Transports will be configured in all the systems in your landscape (including production).
Just by releasing a request, it will not go to the target (unless it is configured so, not likely if the target is production), someone has to import it into the target. I assume you do not want this request to go to target. In this case, release it, then go to STMS, import queue, and delete it from there.
    Added -
I now see that the request is in production.
Igore the above in that case.
If you are not able to release it, let it be. If you are doing an upgrade/support pack, you will need to release it.
When you try to delete, what message do you get?
