How to display rows from index 1 to all in a table
Hi,
I am facing a problem please help me.
I created a node in context with cardinality 1..n so that there will always be a element present for that node.
From one view i am providing data to this node and adding new blank element to this node.
I binded a table from view to this node so that it is displaying all the rows with a blank row at the start.
Now i want to display all the elements of that node except that blank first element in to a table

You can invalidate the node before and then add the elements from the second table or you can remove the blank element from the node.
you can use the following code to remove an element
int listSize = wdContext.node<Node Name>().size();
if(listSize > 0)
for(int i = listSize - 1; i >= 0; --i)
wdContext.node<Node Name>().removeElement(wdContext.node<Node Name>().getElementAt(i));
or use the following code to invalidate the node.

The data needs to be displayed in the below manner where first grouping is by Account Country, then by Account Name. Then the table with 9 columns where in the first 5 columns are from first group and the next 4 are from second group.

I have the coding as
first for loop: <?for-each-group:ssAssetMgmtAsset;./ssAccountPrimaryCountry?>

third which is for the table : <?for-each:current-group()?>
I close the above grp after product description.
One table with the first 5 columns and below second table is placed adjacent to the first to display the 4 columns with the grp <?for-each:ssAgreementEntitlement?>
how do I get all the 9 columns in a single row in a single table.

What I would like to do is as follows:

area I would like to clean up is the displaying of the divisional
standings on the right side. As of right now, I use a URL variable
(division = id2) to grab the needed data, which works ok. What I
want to do is clean up the url abit.
So far the url is
clubhouse.php?team=Wings&id=DET&id2=Pacific, in the end all
I want is clubhouse.php?team=Wings.
I have a separate table, that has the teams entire
information (full team name, short team, abbreviation, conference,
division, etc. so I was thinking if I could somehow do this:
Recordset Team Info is filtered using URL variable team
(short team). Based on what team equals, it would then insert this
variable into the Divisional Standings recordset.
So example: If I type in clubhouse.php?team=Wings, the Team
Info recordset would bring up the Pacific division. Then 'Pacific'
would be inserted into the Divisional Standings recordset to
display the Pacific Division Standings.
Basically I want this

FROM standings
WHERE division = <teaminfo.division>
ORDER BY pts DESC

Select the set of bullets. Go to the "Build" panel of the Inspector. Choose "Build In". Choose your effect. Select "By Bullet Group" under delivery.

Set up the database connection, right click on the table, select Import->Excel and specify your file to load it. On the import pop-up, you must view and update each tab indicating Columns, Data Types, and DML.
Columns -- move the selected columns that you want to load to the box on the right
Data Types -- select column name from second column to which the data for each column of the import file should load
DML -- click this tab to generate the INSERT SQL
Once done click 'Insert' -

OBIEE:How to display row/columns where no data is present in pivot results?
I have a request from some team members to provide an OBIEE report of 7 teams and the number of open incidents for each team by week.
I was able to create the pivot listing the teams vertically and the age (by week#: 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks & > 4weeks) horizontally.
The dilemma I have is that of the 7 teams that have incidents tickets only 4 of them have data, thus only those 4 teams that have ticket data show up in my pivot. I would like to be able to reflect ALL 7 teams even if representing a dash or null value across the pivot for those teams that don't have data.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how would I do this? I've tried searching the internet and found out how to replace a null value with a dash in columns/rows when a cell is null. But not how to display an entire row (or column) where no data is present.

Edited by: coutya on May 22, 2012 11:02 AMYou are correct; if there are no data at all, those teams won't show in a pivot table. NULLs or dashes only work if a particular column is null. There are two ways to accomplish what you wish. The first example I thought when I wasn't aware of being able to do a LEFT OUTER JOIN in Answers using the Advanced tab. The first method works nicely, though and is simpler to execute.

How to populate rows from another table in new blank rows of other table
I have to convert an oracle form 6i to Jdeveloper application. In forms 6i we use create a cursor for other table and then populate the current table data block row using create record and assigning its values from cursor and then issuing next record until all cursor records are written in data block. After some manual editing we save the whole form and then all block records are saved as new rows in table.
Now how to create this functionality in jdeveloper application.
Kindly help.two steps-
1. get row from first VO.iterate them - like below -

Khiz_enga .csv file is just a comma delimited text file. each row contains data separated by a comma. To read this information in, do as Hartmut suggested to your earlier post on this exact topic. "I would read that file with a FileReader / BufferedReader and parse each line with StringTokenizer. This would be quite the same like working through a result set." For more info on how to read text files, see any java book or browse through the i/o tutorial.
