How to download the cap file to the smartcard with my own program

I can download applet with JCop now, but I have to do it with my program,can someone tell me how to do it,especially the steps.

In case you are using JCOP tools plug-in in Eclipse, choose: Help -> Help Contents->JCOP tools user guide -> Reference -> Offcard API's. There you will find all the java API's necessary for wrtiting java program, that enables to upload, install applet, get info about the card and work with your proper applet installed.
If you look through the older post, you'll also find several samples of off-card java terminal program code.
P.S. Another choice would be java 6 smart card I/O.
Some of us still trying to use OCF technologies. But i advice you not to use it, because this technology is dead.

I suggest you search this forum. That question has been answered a lot.
1) If you are using a pure Java Card use scriptgen tool and send those commands to the card.
2) If you are using a Java Card with Global Platform
A) Follow the Global Platform specs and authenticate to the card with developer keyset(0x40,0x41,0x42,0x43...0x4f)
b) Get a kit
Since you are a beginner, I recommend you get the a kit like JCOP or one from card vendors like G&D, Gemplus, etc.

How to Load the cap file to the SSD with DAP

Dear everybody,
How to use upload, load and install command to load cap file to the SSD with DAP?
My step:
1 I have already input the DAP Key into the SSD.
2 Select ISD
3 Do auth
4 Upload -s ssdaid -d "XXX.cap", but JCOP return 6985.
I don't kown why.

Download Helper - How to download & save .wmv files WITHOUT the video being downloaded playing on screen?

Latest Version of Download Helper
Windows Media Player and VLC are installed
When I download a video file (typically .wmv) the video begins playing on the monitor screen prior to my being able to use Download Helper to download the video and save to the hard drive. This typically results in the video stopping and playing and stopping throughout the download process because of the download speed available. There is never any issue with the final download on the hard drive.
Today I installed latest version of Firefox and Download Helper on another computer.
Windows 7
Latest Version of Firefox
Latest Version of Download Helper
Windows Media Player (only) is installed
Downloaded the same .wmv file downloaded above and the video did NOT begin playing on the monitor screen. Download Helper allowed me to download the file to the hard drive WITHOUT constantly listening to the video start/stop/start/stop etc.
What option (in which program) would allow the playing of the video to be toggled on or off while downloading the .wmv file?

Unable to load the cap file to the JCOP card

I develop my applet by JCOP IDE and it works well in the VM. But when I want to load it on my JCOP card, I face a problem. it can successful send the 1st 254 bytes, but always return 6A86 when send the second 254 bytes to the card.
Status: Incorrect parameters (P1,P2)
Error code: 6a86 (Incorrect parameters (P1,P2))
Offending APDU: 6A86
Wrong response APDU.
I don't know why this happen. Can anyone show some light on that. Thank you in advance.

Have you written your own loader for this ?
What is the prompt "cm>" from, is that a standard Java Card tool ?
Looking at the data I can see, its looks well formed. However when I wrote my own loader I found I could only send 239 bytes of data (255 - 16) otherwise I'd get an error. Maybe part of this is todo with the option of using M-DAP to MAC each APDU. FYI its a JCOP10 I'm using.
Also my data was never concatentated, that is to say, check your 'FileSystem.cap' file with "unzip -tv FileSystem.cap" for the real CAP files. Each of these files never crossed an APDU boundary, the first one Header.cap (IIRC) is a small file, so my first APDU was less than 40 bytes of actual data (with C4 TLV data before it), certainly not 254 bytes.
I'm not sure if this is allowed or not, I've plans to try it out soon and see myself since i've not read anything that says you can not do this.
This is the only obvious difference I can see to other loader scripts and programs I have seen.

ITS: How to download a PDF file and provide it with a filename !??

I habve created an Zservice that Prints spools requests. Now it should be extend to allow download as a pdf file as well.
What are the options here !?
I am aware of mime-download and it works fine but it has certain limitations despite it opens up the pdf just fine the in IE window.
-- No custom filename can be provided
-- Opens up in the same window can only escape w/ back button
I would need something that would allow the following:
-- Either to select file location etc. or being abale to set correct file location
-- Possible open pdf file in a new window...
I assume that a combination of different things need to be done here...
Any suggestions !?

Open or saving it in a separated dialog/window/application
Being able to provide a filename (which can be a BHtml variable)
But I do not have a clue how I can get it implemented ...what needs to be done !?

How to compile other java files and run them from my own programs?

I'm developing a unit testing tool for AspectJ, which can originally generate the stubs for aspect unit to be tested. All these stubs are java files. After generation of stubs, how can I program the code to compile this unit together with these stubs, i.e. how can I put the functionality of compilation and run, e.g. command "javac *.java" and "java *", into my own code.
Hope you can understand what I mean.

When I use Runtime.getRuntime().exec(command) for executing the AspectJ compile command "ajc", "IOException createProcess error=2" always occurs, while it is ok for Java comiple command "javac".
Why this happens when I use Runtime.getRuntime().exec("ajc Hello.java Test.aj")? Is it the reason that Runtime.exec(String) may not support any command in DOS?
(ajc is the compile command for the java file and aj file.)

- My smartcard is said to be JC2.2.1 and GP2.1.1 compatible
- My code (for testing) is written in Java under eclipse Helios service 2 with JavaCard plugin (for JC2.2.2)
I compile my code with JDK 1.3 (for compatible version) and using the JC plugin to generate cap file (along with exp and jca).
My problem is exactly the same as one that was posted in this forum about 2 years ago but is not answered :-)

I know that you can save and open a document by performing these three steps:
1. Confirming to save a file to the Downloads folder
2. Open the download manager by clicking the temporarily green arrow
3. Clicking on the downloaded file
What I would like to know is whether or not it is possible to have Firefox open a saved file ''automatically''. At the moment, if I choose to open it automatically, it is only saved to my temp folder.
It would be great though if it was saved to my Downloads folder ''and'' opened with the respective program on my pc. Is there a way to do this?

That article is about using your iPod as an external hard drive, to move files from one computer to another computer. It is not related to your question.
You can't use iTunes to move song files from iPod to computer, except for songs you purchased from the iTunes Store (and you can also re-download purchases). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can move song files from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your current computer, add them to that computer's iTunes library by dragging the files (or folder containing the files) to the iTunes window. After confirming everything is there (and fixing the data issue you mentioned) you can sync the iPod. You may want to do a Restore on the iPod, if it might have a data corruption issue, which will erase the iPod's hard drive, re-install the latest software, and set it to defautl settings.
