How to dump AppConfig.xml in memory

I made changes to AppConfig.xml, ran "runcommand.sh --update-definition" and got the message that no differences were seen. Is that a way of dumping the configurations which are "in memory"?

use eaccmd.sh describe-app --app app_id

  • How to Dump XML data into table

    Hi All,
    We have one schema on a server.
    We have created the same schema with only table structures on another new server.
    Now we got the data from the original schema as XML files corresponding to each table.
    For Example, we have Employee table created newly on a new server. Now we have the XML file which has Employee data. We have to dump this XML data into new EMPLOYEE table.
    We have to dump these XML files data into corresponding tables.
    How can we achieve this?
    Please help me..
    Thanks in advance

    Look at this example:
    Assume you have the following XML in a tempxml table (tempxml could be an external table):
    create table tempxml (xml xmltype);
    insert into tempxml values (xmltype(

  • How to create OEMS JMS In-Memory and File-Based Persistence?

    Anyone knows how to create OEMS JMS In-Memory and File-Based Persistence? Any help it is appreciated. I m working with Oracle BAM 11g TP4 and I want to test the capability of connecting directly to a JMS queue, and reading Oracle´s "complex" documentation I couldnt find the right way to make this happen.
    tks

    Hi Mario
    This is explained in the soa developer's guide. Chapter 43 "Enterprise message source"should help you. You will find how to connect OEMS or JMS in-memory/file based to your BAM data objects with or without xpath transformation.
    You can find sample of advanced XML formating in the 10g tech note: "Oracle BAM 10.1.3 configuration for BPEL 10.1.2 using JMS sensors" (useful even if you don't plan to use BPEL).
    Anyway, if you plan to use BPEL, forget JMS and use the BAM adapter (chapter 42), it's quicker & easier.

    1. Why this is happen?i want to generate xml which its format is like above.
    2. How can i send this xml (put in msg parameter) using jsp (via web) without creating the mms.xml?
    3. if i want to set the msg parameter equal to mms.xml - means that msg = mms.xml, what is the data type for msg? is it an object or anything else?
    Thx b4 in advance...

    Hello Anybody, I have a question. Can any of you please suggest me how to make an xml file from the database table with all the records?
    Note:- I am having the XSD Schema file and the resulted XML file should be in that XSD format only.

    The Oracle documentation has a good overview of the options available
    Generating XML Data from the Database
    Without knowing your version, I just picked 11.2, so you made need to look for that chapter in the documentation for your version to find applicable information.
    You can also find some information in XML DB FAQ

    I am acquiring images and data to a buffer on the edge of the while loop, and am finding that the crashing of the program is unpredictable, but almost always due to a memory saturation when the buffers gets too big.

  • How to load the xml from swf

    Hi,
    I have one intro.swf from that am loading one interface.swf by using loader.In interface i am loading some of the swf and xml am getting the swf but the xml files are not loading.When i run from interface file it is loading fine. only when i load the intro file the xml files are not loading. can any one tell me what is the problem how to access the xml content.
    This is the code am using in interface.swf to to get the xmlpath
    MovieClip(root).param1 = xmlPath;
    to access the xml content i have written the code
    var xmlPath:String=MovieClip(stage.getChildAt(0)).param1;
    I am using one moviclip in interface to load the other swf and xml. I am not using any moviclip in intro file to load the interface swf for that i am using only the loader.

    Where are the files located relative to each other?  If the intro and interface are in different folders then the problem could be that you need to adjust the path the interface uses for targeting the files it loads.

  • How to Merge multiple XML  files in one file ( Env: XML Publisher 5.6.2)

    All,
    I have recently started working on XML publisher and have developed 3 reports in last 2 days using XML Publisher and integrating them with Concurrent programs.
    This is a great tool.
    I have got another requirement, where i need to use xml file generated by multiple run of same report with various parameters and then merge all xml file to a single report. Developing the whole custom process will take very long time and sure will have bugs in it. Instead i was thinking to use xml file generated by Oracle report itself.
    Report "US Gross to net summary" generates xml output in standard output directory and then show output in PDF file. I have 7 such file generated for each payroll. I want to merge output of xml into a single xml so that i can create single report having data from all 7 xml files showing me All payroll output in a single report.
    Can someone please guide me , how can i read xml file data from the output directory of a seeded concurrent program and how to manipulate data in it.
    Thanks
    Ankur

    Hi Tim,
    Thanks for replying. I have looked for "PDFBookBinder class" in xml publisher user guide for ver 5.6.2. I didn't get any reference of this text. Can you please guide me to a tutorial/link where i can get more information about this class.
    Also, i originally thought of similar to your second logic, as my design basis. Oracle process generates the xml file in output directory which i can get. What i didn't get is how do i "pick them up and merge" using publisher. Also, is there way to do this merging process using pl/sql ? Can you please give little more information on your second approach.
    My original plan of action is that i will create a report set in which i will call oracle seeded report for all 7 payrolls in a sequential manner. Then using the child requests of the report set i will get to 7 xml files generated by seeded oracle process. Then the piece i am not sure of , i will use those 7 files to generate a single xml file having payroll name as tree top for each output. Once single xml is ready, i can easily design a template and register the process to generate output as Excel.This process will not require me to actually change any data or do any calculation. It will only reformatting the feilds we see and abiity to see all 7 payroll at one time rather then entering these numbers manually into an excel to do analysis.
    Please provide your feedback, if you think above plan is not feasible or need corrections.
    Best Regards,
    Ankur

  • HOW TO: Use the XML parser in Oracle 8.1.7

    I am trying to figure out how to use the xml parser provided in oracle 8.1.7. all i want to do is parse a xml report that is defined using a schema, and place the data into the proper tables. i am totally unfamiliar with the xml parser and how it works. i have done some reading on the subject, but seem to be getting some conflicting infromation about which utilites i need and how to invoke them. can someone please tell me what utilities i need, how to invoke them, and what i need to do to get a xml document to parse and insert to a table? I would greatly appreciate any help anybody could offer. thanks.

    You can parse the XML Document with XML Parser and place the data into database using XSU(XML SQL Utility).
    Both of these are included in XDK for Java at:

  • How can I add XML metadata to simulate my application?

    I have a client application I support and I'm trying to use Dreamweaver as a tool to customize pages within the application. Each page, or report, consists of a HTM file with supporting CSS and Jscript used to render a view of data from the server that comes in the form of an XML file.  The HTM file is viewed file with the CSS / Jscript working as is, but i'm trying to determine how to get the XML payload from the server to populate the elements in the HTM file.  below is a sample of the supporting files, the first shot is the XML payload the server sends, the second shot is the client files used to create the report.  All i need to do is 'attach' the XML to the htm file in dreamweaver so i can apply changes and see how effects of my work in the design view.  Is this possible?  All these files will be client side...

    The solution from dvohra09 will output a file outXml that uses the format rules from stylesheet.
    But how can I write out the following 2 lines to outXml? contextHandler.startDocument() will only write out the first line, but not the second line...

    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="mytest.xsl"?>

    I have a JSP that receives an XML document from a JavaBean, so I can access it within the entire JSP, but I need to access it from the javascript inside the JSP... and I have no idea how i can do this.
    Thanks in advance!

    The solution would only work on MS IE browsers, as other browsers do not support an XML DOM.
    It can be done, but you would be stuck with using the Microsoft broswer. If that is acceptable, I have some example code, and a book recommendation.
