How to Enter Floating number in Modbus Register

Hello,
I want to set one floating value in modbus register located on 400.but I am not able to do so its only accept real number.
Will you please guide me what should I do in order to solve this problem??
I tried with suggestion which is given in link but still I am not able to connect the output to the modbus which I have mark red in attachment.

Actually I want to set my actual current value same as measured value that's why I need to do this operation.

The best way what i found is multiply the number by 100 if after decimal 2 digit precision is OK with you other wise 1000 if 3. digit precision. Then write to register.
Later when reading read & divide by 100 or 1000 whatever
Kudos are always welcome if you got solution to some extent.
I need my difficulties because they are necessary to enjoy my success.

Hi Satya,
Since the item is already shipped, you cannot enter serial number for this line.
you have to enter serial numbers after pick confirm only.

As a workaround for the previous lines do RMA and try to receive the goods back to your subinventory.

Assuming Leica are using the normal license codes system, when you install LR, it'll ask for your serial number - you should be able to enter it there.

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

FYI: Some third party software can cause issues with the App Store > Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text

Sorry, I was under the impression that you were using the complete Lookout development software (as opposed to just the Lookout Protocol Drivers). You cannot do any development (connections, mapping, etc.) with the Lookout Protocol Drivers (LPD). So, you were right. We have to do this in LabVIEW.
I ain't sure how exactly the Modicon floats work, but assuming what you're saying is correct, in your LabVIEW VI(s) you would read the DataSocket item corresponding to 40yyy+1 first, and then write this value back to the DataSocket item corresponding to 40xxx. Similarly, you would read the DataSocket item corresponding to 40yyy and then write the value read back to the DataSocket item corresponding to 40xxx+1.
A tip: I wou
ld at first make sure I have the OPC communication between LabVIEW and LPD working. Make sure you can read and write to the LPD registers via their DataSocket/OPC equivalents in LabVIEW. You can then implement the mapping as described above.

When I Recreated your problem i got this message.
Field ZTEST_FGLG-QTY can not be displayed on screen 0001
     Message no. SV617
Diagnosis
     The field ZTEST_FGLG-QTY can not be offered for maintenance on the
     screen 0001, for technical reasons.
System Response
     The generation continues, but the field ZTEST_FGLG-QTY does not appear
     on the screen 0001.
From the message it is clear that it is not possible to show the field on screen.
so you have to use either some Decimal Field or Qty field instead of FLTP field.

It is my second post and i couldnt find an answer to it. The problem ii want to display a float number with only the last three decimal after the comma. For example, float x = 23.445566 and i need to display only 23.445
How can i do that ? here is the code:

the result = 110.153846...
And what i want to display is 110.153

You're right - java.text.Decimal format uses round half even, java.util.Formatter uses round half up.
    Float f = 0.5F;
    System.out.printf("%.0f\n", f);
    System.out.println(new java.text.DecimalFormat("0").format(f));

0In the ASNI C implementations I've worked with, printf also uses half-even.
