How to execute a SAP Script Configured in NACE as Output type?
Hi all,
I know the Outputtype. How to execute the Script? I have to modify the Script.

After you have run TOAD and connected to Oracle DB, TOAD will open a "SQL Editor" window. If it does not, you can open it by clicking the "SQL" or "Editor" button in the tool bar.
You can open the script in TOAD's SQL Editor Window like this:
Press "Open File" button (yellow file icon) from the tool bar [ or from File menu, click "Open File" option]
Navigate to directory where you script is residing
select the script file and press "Open" button
Now you can press the yellow 'bolt' button to execute your script.
Once you have run the script successfully, click on the "Schema Browser" button [ which is next to the "Editor" button ]. In the schema browser's "Tables" tab, you can look for the table you have created.
Alternately, you can also use SQLPlus to run your script either after launching SQLPlus and connecting to DB or from the command line.

To get familiar with the tool, you'll have to explore it yourself if you plan to continue using it.
NOTE
You do not need "commit" after DDL statements. I noticed "commit" statements in your script. You can remove them.

1. Find SSH client for windows, then execute SSH with Runtime.exec() on local host with arguments like remote host, auth, command to execute etc.
2. Get SSH client in Java and execute SSH commands on remote host using pure Java API.

Utilities-> Activate Debugger
From the transaction, In the output message screen, you chose chose your output type, Go to Further options, Chose the dispatch option as Send at periodically scheduled jobs . then save the transaction. And run the prigram RSNAST00 It would stop at the debugging.

Transport.of SAP script form , printer def and device type is not enaugh
I transported the SAP script form , printer definition and device types of a thermal printer.
On original system the printout is ok but on target system not. What should I do?Thank you for your fast answer
As the matther of fact I am technical person. I think Output type belongs to application. However the difference is visible in se71 ->Utilities->Printing test -> output device ->print preview.

I am having a task to write a script which can be executed in different SAP systems , explained as below.
I have created a script to do password reset for mass users in one system (TC6) & it's working fine. But when i load same script in other system(QR5) to do the same activity , the system unable to execute the same script.
One thing i found that by comparing in the two systems that the screen-ids in QR5 system is different than TC6 system.
My question
1-> why it is different even though the scripting language is same.
2-> How can i overcome it & make a common script for all the systems.
Please help me to resolve this.

From the above it's clear that the screen IDs in both the systems are different as the program-me name is different for the same TA (SU01) in both the systems.
Now can you please advise how i will go with both to handle in one script (I can't put a check condition to call different scripts for the specific systems as in my landscape there are more that 100 systems).
Please help me on this.

Following programs can be used to download from/upload to SAP System
RSTXR3TR To EXPORT/IMPORT layout set (FORM) using a Transport Request (CTS)
RSTXSCRP To EXPORT/IMPORT layout set (FORM), Style, Standard Text or Device Type without using a Transport Request
execute the Program 'RSTXSCRP' give the Script name and Export it to u'r system and then log on in different client and Import the script using the same Program.

Changes are not reflecting while executing the SAP script from report

In SAP-script we are nmaking changes in form in client 130
it is showing the changes in 140 client but while excuting the report the same are not reflecting in the output.

Scripts are mandant depentant. So you must copy from 130 to 140 for changes take efect.
Do it in transaction SE71 in mandant 140, first screen, in the menu options.
And never forget to activate it in all mandants.
