How to redefine the width of key figure through ABAP CLASS
Hello experts:
I encounter a problem when using table interface.
I make a wad with two table(two query).The two queries have same characteristics, but different key figures in row.Now i want to adjust the format to make all the cell aligh. I have realize that when i keep the column header of the tables. But if i hide the second column header of table, it's failed. I don't know where i can adjust the width of the key figure cell without column header.
For example: query1: zmodel qty01
aaa 100
query2: zmodel qty02
bbb 200
how to make the width of qty01 the same as qty02
look forward to your answer.While populating the value in the cell use the following command.
c_cell_td_extend = 'style = "width:200px"'. -
How to count the number of records retreived through a query?
Dear All
I want to find the total number of records retreived for a particular query .
does BW provide any internal count function , which can solve my requirement??
if yes, please provide some details.

Pandurang.hi pandurang
when u see the contents of a particular cube
RSA1->Infocube->manage->contents
there is a option "Output number of Hits"
An extra keyfigure is created displaying the number of records rolled up
Aggregating the column might just solve ur issue

How to get the list of materials from Sap r/3
Hi Experts,
I have one doubt, here iam implementing
HTTP TO RFC scenario.
My doubts are------
1. Should we create DT MT MI and all (OR) not
2.In Request DT how the message structure wil be to get the list of materials from sap r/3 system as Response(Ex: Fields in the source structure).
3.Or the second thing is how to get the list of materials start with some alphabate.
Please reply me for each and every questions mentioned above. Please clarify me.
Helpful answers wil be rewarded.

khannaHi Khanna,
<i> 1. Should we create DT MT MI and all (OR) not</i>
Yes U need to create for HTTP site...for RFC U need to import..
<i>2.In Request DT how the message structure wil be to get the list of materials from sap r/3 system as Response(Ex: Fields in the source structure).</i>
You create your own structres for Request and respoce.. and Map it with RFC..
<i>3.Or the second thing is how to get the list of materials start with some alphabate.</i>
I think it will come with acending order....

Untitled 1.vi 2333 KBLook inside the palette called Signal Processing - Waveform measurements. There are a lot of functions here that you can use to get the information you desire. For instance, the Extract Tones function will output an array of clusters, with each cluster element giving the frequency, amplitude, and phase of the signal component. Go through the entire arry to see each frequency component of the complex waveform.
Also, in the Waveforms palette there is the Get Waveform Components function that will give you t0, dt, and Y components of the waveform. 1/dt should give you the sample rate. See attached VI.

How to find the list of un used table names in a schema?
Hi,
I have a doubt in Oracle. The doubt is that If we are using any tables in Function Or Proc.... Then...We can list all those used table names from USER_DEPENDENCIES system table. Right...
But, If the table is used with Execute Immediate Statement, then, those table names are not coming out with USER_DEPENDENCIES system table. Because they are identified at run time and not compile time.
It is fine. And I agree.. But, If I want to list out those tables also...then...How to do? Any idea?
I think ‘USER_SOURCE’ system table may not be the right one. If there is any other system table avails for this purpose...then..it would be very grateful to extract right...
So I am wanting that exact system table.
Please let me know about this, if you have any idea or check with your friends if they have any idea.
Regards,
Subramanian GHi Guys,
Thanks for all your answers.
Yes....You are all right. We can list out the used tables upto certain extent. Anyhow, I have done some R&D to derive the SQL's which is given below:
SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM USER_TABLES
MINUS
SELECT DISTINCT UPPER(REFERENCED_NAME)
FROM user_dependencies
where
referenced_type='TABLE' and UPPER(NAME) in
select distinct UPPER(object_name) from user_objects where UPPER(object_type) in
'MATERIALIZED VIEW',
'PACKAGE',
'PACKAGE BODY',
'PROCEDURE',
'TRIGGER',
'VIEW',
'FUNCTION'
UNION
SELECT UT.TABLE_NAME FROM
SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM USER_TABLES
MINUS
SELECT DISTINCT UPPER(REFERENCED_NAME)
FROM user_dependencies
where
referenced_type='TABLE' and UPPER(NAME) in
select distinct UPPER(object_name) from user_objects where UPPER(object_type) in
'MATERIALIZED VIEW',
'PACKAGE',
'PACKAGE BODY',
'PROCEDURE',
'TRIGGER',
'VIEW',
'FUNCTION'
AND REFERENCED_OWNER=(SELECT sys_context('USERENV', 'CURRENT_SCHEMA') FROM dual)
) UT,
( SELECT * FROM USER_SOURCE
WHERE NAME IN
( SELECT DISTINCT NAME FROM USER_SOURCE
WHERE TYPE NOT IN ('TYPE')
AND
UPPER(TEXT) LIKE '%EXECUTE IMMEDIATE%'
) US
WHERE
UPPER(US.TEXT) LIKE '%'||UPPER(UT.TABLE_NAME)||'%'
AND
(UPPER(US.TEXT) NOT LIKE '%--%')
The above SQL Query can list out unused tables by checking the Dynamic SQL Statement also upto some level only.
Once we extracted the list of unused tables, having a manual check would be also greater to verify as it is should not impact the business applications.

how to extract the audio of a zip file? if it helps I'm trying to add this album zip to my library
Let's say you have a zipped audio collection (audio.zip) containing mp3 files. And you are at a Terminal prompt.
List the files in the zip archive
unzip -l audio.zip (that is ell)
Extract all mp3 audio files into a new home directory folder called mymusic
unzip -d ~/mymusic audio.zip \*.mp3
Variations of the above will depend the zip contents, and internal structure. If the zipped audio collection was gzipped, or someone used rar on it, then the extraction process will be different. -
How to extract the Fast Formula Body through database?
Hi All
The Oracle fast formulas are stored in the ff_formulas_f table under the column formula_text having the datatype long. I want to extract the formula text through back end. When I use the statement, Select formula_text from ff_formulas_f, I am getting only the first line.
How to extract the full formula text?
Regards
RahmanHere's a unix shell script to do it for you based on the info given by the other posters.
#!/bin/sh
if \[ "$1" == "" \]; then
echo Syntax: $0 FAST_FORMULA_NAME
exit 1
fi
ffname=`echo $1|tr \[:lower:\] \[:upper:\]`; export ffname
sqlplus -silent $ORAUSER/$ORAPASSWD <<END
set define off serveroutput on format wrapped linesize 512 pagesize 0 feedback off verify off heading off echo off pause off long 100000
column formula_text format a512;
select formula_text from ff_formulas_f where formula_name = '$ffname';
exit;
END
Also this will list the formula names given a substring:
#!/bin/sh
if \[ "$1" == "" \]; then
echo Syntax: $0 FAST_FORMULA_NAME
exit 1

ffname=`echo $1|tr \[:lower:\] \[:upper:\]`; export ffname

select formula_name from ff_formulas_f where formula_name like '%$ffname%';

How to extract the cobol files into owb
Hi
How to extract the cobol files in owb,I am using OWB9.2.
Ex:I am having 2 records DCEC4000100 9159000050C those values are 5 bytes 'RAVI and 6 bytes '15000'.
Using contorl file i am trying to load these into Oracle,But i am not able into insert these records into Oracle.
Can any tell me how to handle this kind of situation?
Regards,
RupakGood morning Ashok,
Your data is in a SQL*Loader supported datatype, so basically it should not be a problem.
Have you checked the Database Utilities guide (for Oracle9i for instance: http://www.lc.leidenuniv.nl/awcourse/oracle/server.920/a96652/toc.htm) on how to handle this?
I'll also repeat my previous question, have you ever been able to load data into the database using SQL*Loader (either using ASCII values or any other datatype)?
For the OWB part, have you read "Importing Data Definitions" (typically chapter 4)? More specifically, "Specifying Field Properties" in "About Flat File Sources and Targets"?
In "SQL*Loader Properties" it says the following:
Type Describes the data type of the field for the SQL*Loader. You can use the Flat
File Sample Wizard to import the following data types: CHAR, DATE, DECIMAL
EXTERNAL, FLOAT EXTERNAL, INTEGER EXTERNAL, ZONED , AND ZONED
EXTERNAL. For complete information on SQL*Loader field and data types, refer to
Oracle9i Utilities. Currently, only portable datatypes are supported.
If you check the database utitlities guide (chapter 6 Field List Reference) and look for "SQL*Loader Datatypes", you'll find (packed) decimal under the Nonportable Datatypes. This implies that OWB does not support it.
This does not mean you can't use SQL*Loader, you'll only have to define everything separate from OWB and call it separately as well.
Good luck, Patrick
