i hv to fetch data which is negative in nature using select statement i m using ppdit table and wrbtr field.(it contains both negative and positive data)....wat sud i add with select statement...plz help me..

HI,
I think you can use LT or < 0.0 in the WHERE clause to get all the -ve values. Once you get them treat them as negative.

please tell me How to shift Negative sign from Right to left for quan data type i am getting on right side but i want to display it on left exactly preceding my output number display.

this will move the negative sign from the left hand side of a number, to the right hand side of the number. Note that The result will be left justified (like all character fields), not right justifed as numbers normally are.
chck this example..

res = a1 - a2.
data: res1(10).
res1 = res.

You can use this FM CLOI_PUT_SIGN_IN_FRONT.
But you need to declare the amount field as char.
Or you can code like this

write int to char.
concatenate '-' char into char.

FETCHING VALUES IN MULTI RECORD BLOCK FROM ANOTHER TABLE USING SELECT STATEMENT.

I have one multi record block in which i want to fetch values
(more then one record) from another table using select statement
IN KEY NEXT ITEM.I am getting following error.
ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows

In your case I see no reason to use non-database block and to try to populate it from a trigger with a query, instead of using the default forms functionality where you can associate the block and the fields with table, create where clause using bind variables and simply use execute_query() build-in to populate the block. The power of the forms is to use their build-in functionality to interact with the database.
Also, you can base your block on a query, not on a table and you dynamically change this query using set_block_property() build-in. You can use any dynamic queries (based on different data sources) and you simply need to control the column's data type, the number of the columns and their aliases. Something like creating inline views as a block data source.
However, you can replace the explicit cursor with implicit one like

I got a problem. I cant pass in parameter to function by using select statement. But it can pass in parameter by using 'hardcode' method. How can I solve this problem?
Eg,

can any one explain how to migrate pricing condition data using lsmw.
the scenario is we are trying to extend the pricing conditions from one sales area to other sales area on a combination of sales organization, distribution channel and division.

Pricing conditions can be extended with the following options:-
1) Customer / material with release status
2) Sales Org / Dist. Channel / Cust group / Material
3) Price List category / Currency / material with release status
4) Material with release status
Assuming that your pricing condition in one sales area is different to another, first you have to create LSMW recording to extend the sales area and then pricing conditions can be uploaded accordingly.

Not sure what you mean by compile, but hint is enclosed in /*+ hint */. Index hint is INDEX(table_name,index_name). For example:

SQL> Hint in the above example is forcing optimizer to use index which resul;ts in a bad execution plan. Most of the time optimizer does not need hints and chooses an optimal plan. In most cases sub-optimal plan is result of stale or incomplete statistics.

Hi Srinivas,
Using TPE you cannot process repeating records. It doesn’t allow you to loop through your InvoiceDetails (repeating record), hence it shows null in tracked record. This
is one of the limitations when you use TPE.
This can be done using BAM API. If you use Orchestration or by writing a custom pipeline component you can use BAM API where you have the flexibility to loop through the
repeating record and insert each InvoiceDetails node as a record in your BAM activity. BAM API is the only option to track repeating items inside a message as separate activity instances.
