Hi there
I've just been handed over a great big project that was coded a couple of years ago and have just recompiled most of it - problem is that the compiler keeps telling me that the code has deprecated stuff in it but it won't tell me WHERE! (I'm using netbeans 4.1, Java 5.0)
Does anyone know of a tool that can pick out deprecated code or wether netbeans can do this please?
Cheers

Note: someApplet.java uses or overrides a deprecated API.
Note: Recompile with -Xlint:deprecation for details.

SmithaHi Smitha,
I worked on the similar example that you have stated.....
You try using this way...
You are assinging the parameter id write....i think the field that you are clicking check the value and then compare that value and proceed this way....it will work....
get cursor field fs_lips-vbeln value w_data.
if fs_lips-vbeln ne 'FS_LIPS-VB'.
message 'Click on Delivery Number Only'(004) type 'E'.
endif.
set parameter id 'VL' field w_data.
call transaction 'VL02N' and skip first screen.
commit work.
wait up to 10 seconds.

the SET PARAMETER ID 'FBAS' i m using is right? if not plz suggest me how to find out correct one?Hi Vicky,
To know the Parameter Id of any field in a transaction ,
you just press F1 onthe particular field then in technical settings under Field data
you can see the PARMATER ID.
So if you check like this you can see 'BLN' as parameter id for Document number in FB03
transaction

How to find out the destination of an "Adaptive RFC Model - DEPRECATED"
Hi All,

and Where is the destination created in the server .

Thanks in Advance

Piyas KumarHi,
I am not sure I fully understand the question, but as per the guide
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/50f7192d-2808-2d10-189b-df3fa5f71abf
Excerpt from Page 7
Caveat Confector!1
ARFC1 destinations were created using the Web Dynpro Content Administrator tool. This tool is
still available for compatibility reasons, but the destinations it creates are not used by ARFC2
models!
Instead, you should use the u201CDestinationsu201D tool found on the Configuration Management screen of
the NetWeaver Administrator.
Therefore I think if you look up the application in the WD content Admin, there you can find out what kind of JCO/RFC connections are belonging to it. You can find it on http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwdtools/Explorer
Browse your application here, and then select the JCO Connections tab on the right hand side.
I hope this helps.

How to find the description of each parameter
how to find the use (specific) of a function module (specific purpose)
and
how to find the description ( specific purpose ) of each parameter present for a function module apart from the information tht we get from the export and import parameters descriptionHello,
usually function modules released for customer use have specific documentation. The ones waht do not have this, are buit only for SAP Internal use.
Usually you will not find documentation for these.

How to find Parameter values of a non-default listener using LSNRCTL
Hi,
I have a non-default listener with name like "lsnr_abcd" in non-default port.
I am on 10.2.0.4 database version. If I want to find out parameter values (like displaymode,dynamic_registration,etc)
for a non-default listener, which command should I use?
I know that for default listener, we can do the following
1) Execute lsnctl
2) show dynamic_registration
What should I execute if I want to get this details for a listener "lsnr_abcd"
Thank You
SarayuAfter setting your current listener to non default listener like this
lsnrctl> SET CURRENT_LISTENER lsnr_abcd
You can execute the further commands without your listener name
lsnrctl>set DISPLAYMODE

Babani,
Go to the screen where that field contains. Place the cursor on that field. Press F1. A new Screen is coming. In that, u got a button of Technical info. Click on it. Then u got the parameter id of that field.
if useful, reward points.
Thank u,

How to find function code for buttons on toolbar in oops alv
Hi experts,
I want to remove some buttons from toolbar in oops alv, i know the procedure like get function code and pass the value in a table and pass that table to IT_TOOLBAR_EXCLUDING of
method set_table_for_first_display but I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO FIND FUNCTION CODE FOR BUTTONS ON TOOLBAR IN OOPS ALVHi Prakash,
-->First you have to set the pf status in your alv program by,
{FORM pf_status USING rt_extab TYPE slis_t_extab.
SET PF-STATUS 'FIRST'.
ENDFORM. "PF_STATUS}
-->Pass this Subroutine name in the Function module, Reuse_alv_grid_display's parameters i.e,
i_callback_pf_status_set = 'PF_STATUS'}
*-->Then doble click on that pf status,
From the menu bar, select Extras->Adjust Template->List Viewer,
This will give you the existing statndard gui status of the program*
->Then catch that function codes in the User command Parameter of the Function module Reuse.. i.e,
i_callback_user_command = 'COMM'
And make a subroutine of the name 'COMM'i.e,
FORM comm USING ucomm LIKE sy-ucomm selfield TYPE slis_selfield.
DATA: okcode TYPE sy-ucomm.
okcode = ucomm.
CASE okcode.
WHEN 'REF'.
CALL FUNCTION 'POPUP_TO_INFORM'
EXPORTING
titel = 'MANSI'
txt1 = 'CREATED BY'
txt2 = SY-UNAME
TXT3 = ' '
TXT4 = ' '
endcase.
Hope it helps you

How to pass the parameter of a stored procedure to iReport
Hi... i don't know how to pass the parameter of the stored procedure to the iReport.
In the Report Query, i tried
1. sp_storedprocedure ' value'
2. sp_storedprocedure +''''+$P{parameter}+''''+
3. sp_storedprocedure +$V+$P{parameter}++$F($F is a variable having a value of ' (a single quote))may you enlighten us please? thank youFor M$ SQL server I find that it only works when U use the fully qualified name...
e.g. catalod.dbo.my_procedure_name 'variable'
My full query in the Report Query window is something like this:
EXEC arc.dbo.jasper_Invoice 1000
Note that you may find that selecting from VIEWS / TABLES fails for no apparent reason and iReport will prompt you with the usual very unhelpful (we have what we "pay" for) prompt, stating that "The document is empty".
To work around this issue, where a statement like "SELECT * FROM arc.dbo.acc_invoices WHERE Invoice_id=1000" does not work, simply create a PROC, something like:
CREATE PROC jasper_MyProc (@my_rec_id integer) AS
SELECT * FROM arc.dbo.acc_invoices WHERE Invoice_id= @my_rec_id integer
...to wrap your SELECT statement, then call the PROC
