How to find Enqueu/Dequue rate in a QUEUE?
Hi,
You can find some useful statistic information about the number of messages in different states you van query v$aq view. I don't what specifically you mean with "Enqueue/Dequeue rate"
SELECT A.OWNER,
A.NAME,
A.QUEUE_TYPE,
A.QUEUE_TABLE,
A.RETENTION,
A.ENQUEUE_ENABLED,
A.DEQUEUE_ENABLED,
B.WAITING,

B.EXPIRED,
B.TOTAL_WAIT,
B.AVERAGE_WAIT
FROM DBA_QUEUES A,
V$AQ B
WHERE A.QID = B.QID
AND A.OWNER = 'USER'Regards,

Hi,
How to find enqueue and dequeue rate in Oracle Advanced Queue?
Please post if there is any SQL query to find enqueue per second, dequeue per second.
Regards,
GuruHello,
Can you please show me how to run AWR report so that it generates AQ stats you talked about ?The AWR report will be started using the sql script "awrrpt.sql" ($ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/awrrpt.sql).
You will find all details in the original Oracle documentation, keyword AWR.
In the generated report you will find two sections concerning AQ (including a list of all your defined AQs):
==> Persistent Queues
Ordered by Queue Name
indicates queue (re)started between Begin/End snaps
%Exp Msgs - % of msgs enqueued with expiry
%Delay Msgs - % of msgs enqueued with delay
%Trasf Time - % of Enqueue time spent in transformation
%Eval Time - % of Enqueue time spent in rule evaluation
==> Persistent Queues Rate
Ordered by Queue Name
indicates queue (re)started between Begin/End snaps

Does anyone know how to find maximum sample rate on an mac 10.7.5
Trying to see if I can downlaod a audio plug-in that requires a maximum sample rate of 199kHz. Where do I find this info for 2009 Mac 10.7.5?
According to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3913:
"The internal microphone supports recording at bit depths of 16, 20, or 24 bits per sample and at sample rates of 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, or 96 kHz." -
How to find out the listeners on a Queue
Hi,
We are using publish/subscribe method to send messages. Given a queue name, is there any way to find out the number of sessions listening on this Queue. that is if there are two servers subscribed to listen messages from a Queue, is there a way to display those two.
here is the code for creating a session.
qconn = AQjmsTopicConnectionFactory.createTopicConnection(dbconn);
session = (AQjmsSession)qconn.createTopicSession(true, Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
topic = session.getTopic(schema, responseQueueName);
replyTo = new AQjmsAgent("scclient", schema + "." + responseQueueName);
destination = new AQjmsAgent[]{new AQjmsAgent("scserver", schema + "." + requestQueueName)};
publisher = (AQjmsTopicPublisher)session.createPublisher(session.getTopic(schema, requestQueueName));
this.dbconn = dbconn;
qconn.start();
Thanks alotI never have tried the method you listed so can't speak to that. I have found this that may be relevant.
Metalink Note 105067.1 - Event Monitor Process: Architecture and Known Issues
From that document
"In terms of monitoring notification clients when an AQ client has registered for notification this information is stored in a table called sys.reg$. The information which is of most interest is as follows:
subscription_name : Name of the subscriber registered
location_name : Name of the AQ Callback function
user# : user_id for the user that has registered the subscriber to the callback function.
Check dba_users for more information.
namespace : 1 for DBMS_AQ.NAMESPACE_AQ."
Hopefully that provides an alternative for you.

UDF: how to find out the context in in-queue has been changed? (java)
Hi,
does anybody know?
Is there som function for this? Because I have a inbound queue with 2 separate contexts, let's say:
A
B
C->changes context
X
Y
Z-?changes context
Let's say I need to return first values in each context. how to do that in UDF?
Thank you,
Olian
Edited by: Olian Saludew on Aug 12, 2008 7:11 PMHi,
Create the Advanced UDF as below
While creating the UDF select the Cache parameter as Context
Then just use below code.
here a---> Source field
result.addValue(a[0]);
This will always take only 1st value of queue.
Thanks

How to find the jobs in reports server queue
Hi All,
I am using oracle forms & reports 10g and Oracle application server is 10g.
Here we have 100 reports servers, so using this URL we can able to find a particular report server.
http://dhabiapp1.dof.ae:8080/reports/rwservlet/showjobs?server=auh_1
Is there any possibilities to find all the reports server in a single page.
Thanks & Regards
Srikkanth.MHi ccortez,
Thanks for you reply.
I have executed the command and its listing all the report servers, but my requirement is to list all the reports server with queue. Is there any possibilities from the front end screen to see all the report server in a single screen.
Thanks & Regards

How to find the database growth rate?
Wanted to do the forecasting of disk growth for one year. How to find the database growth rate?
RahulThis is code authored by Richard Ding that will log database sizes to a table. If you run it every day, then you can go back and compare the database size differences day to day... week to week... month to month... and year over year. That is
how I forecast growth over time.
Note: There is a database name required that is local to your environment, so change [YOURDATABASENAME] to whatever local database you wish to use. I will also post the DDL to create the target table. Create that table in the database you
name in the stored procedure code and all should run fine.

How to find colums in CLOB variable and get this colums value to update col
Question
How to find colums in CLOB variable and get this colums value to update colum of oracle database table
How my work will go
Step-1 - I am creating XML FIle which is based on code that we discused before-
Its developing xml file with data in <...inputelement> as u can see in my xml but in <..output> Element of xml its just have all column for exampe <itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC"> 0 </FLD>
<FLD NM = "XYZ:> </FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
In 1st stage i am just generating <..INPUT> with its colums and real value from database and <..output> elements will go zero value but with colums name.
Note. I create temp table will all COLUMN which u can see in both in <..ITEMINPUT> and <..ITEMOUTPUT>
Step2.. After Generaing my xml i want to convert my xml data into CLOB not in a file. so clob will go to the VENDOR
STEP3.
I will Recieved again xml data in CLOB from the vendo in <.OUTPUT> ELEMents
for example
I send this format
<itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC"> 0 </FLD>
<FLD NM = "XYZ:> </FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
And i will receive it
<itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC VALUE"> 2 </FLD>
<FLD NM = "XYZ TYPE:> SUV</FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
So will take this output valu from xml clob and will update my staging table .
Which have the same colum name as its look in xml clob.
Step- 4. I will take this value from staging table and update my original oracle database table. which i send you before.
But u leave this step becaue you dont know the staging table colum maping with original table.
I think now you understand
Please feed back
monrizhere is my xml..
I want to extract <..output> elements which enclosed with " " and its values from this xml file. please any body have any idea. please tell me
Thanks

How to find out the best settings for BDT
Hi there.
I am trying to predict a movie rating. I downloaded datasets from IMDb, prepared them. A tried all of the regression algorithms, but the best result is giving Boosted Decision Tree. Now I am dealing with the best settings in this algorithm.
With default, running time was 69 seconds and the mean absolute error was 0.4844, which is quite much I think. So I tried to improve it by changing parameters of the BDT module. I tried to set Leaves per tree to 150 and than experimentaly find
remaining parameters. I've come to Samples per leaf=12, Learning rate=0.04 and
Number of trees=700. Running time was 78 seconds and mean absolute error was 0.4596.
Input of the algorithm is joined matrix with 14 columns (11 features) and 67672 rows splitted into 70:30 (training:testing).
Is there any way how to find out the best setting of Boosted Decision Tree?Yordan's suggestion is correct, though the documentation is a bit outdated.
You can use the single parameter + sweeper mode or define your own custom ranges in the BDT module with the Parameter Range setting

How Do You Determine Flat Rates?
I usually charge by the hour but I'm curious how other editors determine flat rates at a client's request. In my particular instance, I've been asked to edit a 6-camera mutli-can concert shoot. The client will supply all materials and choose the specific songs they want for a 1-hour final cut. Afterwards I'll author a DVD complete with motion menus and bonus materials. I'm finding it challenging to determine how may hours this may take ahead of time. It's easy to determine the capturing and outputing and transcoding times but I'll have to guesstimate real editing time. Any thoughts?
Always overestimate. Give them freebies.
I overestimate time and tell the clients that it's a "safe" estimate, then knock a few hours off their bill when the job is complete. They're under budget now, and I'm still making a good profit. Everybody's a winner.
Tell them the encode is free, but add a few hours somewhere else. (You'll do the encode while you sleep anyway, right?)
Keep in mind when setting your hourly rate that they're not just paying for you, they're paying for your system as well.
Also, are you editing the full show, then cutting out songs they don't want? Make sure you account for that as well.
I always overestimate. Period. Then you have leeway before or after they accept the bid. Maybe you're a bit over their budget? Give them the hour of render time and sync time for free. They think they're getting a better deal, you're making that money up somewhere else, anyway.
Also, if you overestimate in every area, when you come upon an unexpected expense somewhere else, you have money somewhere. Example, I'm just burning masters for a DVD I just completed. I neglected to factor in a $700 rush fee from the replicator when I quoted the job. Luckily, I overestimated $1000 for gear from the shoot. I take that $700 from there and still bill $300 less than the estimate.
Leave yourself extra everywhere you can. If there's a ton left over, make your client the hero and bill a little less. If there's just a bit left over, keep it and buy yourself something pretty. -
How to find out how many space character in setence (string var) ?
Dear all Master,
I need Your help please.
Topic:
Script Editor.
My System:
-CUCM 7.0
-UCCX 7.0 premium
-Nuance recognizer 9.0
Question:
ABC = string var.
ABC = "this is sample"
2 space character in ABC string var.
How to find out how many space character in ABC var ?
Regards,
SusantoHi
Create a int variable called whatever you want, then insert a SET step.
Set the variable to the new int you created, and then paste this into the 'value' field:
String[] myarray = teststring.split(" ");
return myarray.length -1 ;
Basically it splits the string into chunks each time it hits the " " character.
This results in an array of the resulting chunks (i.e. words), which is one more than the number of spaces. -1 from that, and you have your int variable set to the number of spaces.
Regards
Aaron

How can I improve the rate of success in Siri recognizing what I am saying (rate of success nil, to date)?
justjesper wrote:
Excelent question.
I have been searching around, and it looks like a lot of users is asking this question.
Where can I make Siri learn my accent ? Some users was talking about a feature where you could correct Siri so it would learn, but I have not been able to find it.
Nor have I, but it does seem to get better as I go along, so maybe it learns. -
How to find Tcodes available in BW system
HI to All,
Pls can anybody tell me how to find the available Tcodes in BW(either production or quality).Whats the procedure to find the existing Tcodes in the system.
Regards,
MSM.Hi MSM,
You can check all transaction here..
http://www.easymarketplace.de/transactions.php
http://www.sap-img.com/general/find-the-list-of-sap-transaction-codes.htm
check this link for list.
http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/tcodes/tcodes.htm
just refer the following link :
http://allsaplinks.com/transactioncodes.html
Listed here are the various ways you can find the list of transaction codes and their usage:
Use transaction SE11 - ABAP Dictionary:
Fill in the Database table name and click the Display button.
- TSTC table will contain all the Tcodes and
- TSTCT table will contain all the Tcodes with Texts.
Once you entered the screen, click in Top Menu - Utilities - Table contents - Display
If you want to display all the transaction code (total - 57,048) you have to change the Fields: Maximum number of hits to 99999 (default 500).
or
Simply goto transaction SM01, although this tcode is to Lock/Unlock any transaction code, you can also view all the tcode available in the R/3 system from here.
or
Goto transaction SE93
There are two ways where you can find the list of transaction codes in SE93.
Method 1:
You must be familiar with the starting characters strings for each of the R/3 application modules.
Assuming you know that most Materials Management transaction codes start with MM.
In the Fields: Transaction code, type in MM* and press the function key F4
The list of transaction code starting with MM will be displayed.
Method 2:
On the Top Menu, click Utilities - Find - Execute and the first 500 transaction will be display.
If want to display all the tcodes, make sure you remembered to change the Fields: Maximum no. of hits right at the bottom of the screen.
I know a particular T Code and can enter and work on it. How do I know what is the menu path for that T Code?
Enter Search_SAP_Menu in the command box and when the pop box appears enter, the Tcode and it will give the nodes and menu path.
