How to find list of transactions for a given component

Is there any table that holds information about transactions.
My requirement is to retrieve all transactions for a particular component.e.g. list fo transactions for SD or MM.
I am into java and have need to develop a program to retrieve teh above information using sap jco.
Hence if there is any RFC or table holding this info please let me know.

Let me explain this witha na example.
Let us assume that one developer received a requirement on Material Management Module.
(Create Material)
Step1:
Go to the Transaction Code : SDMO.
Step2 :
Execute SDMO Tcode from SE93 or Press /nSDMO
Step3:
It will prompts for you a Dynamic menu with text box.
Step3 :
Enter your required description in that text box and press F8 or press execute button.
Here Iu2019m entering u201CMaterialu201D as description and pressing F8.
Step5 :
We will get the list of Transaction Codes associated with the description u201CMaterialu201D as Follows.
Step6 :
In the above list, we will get all Transaction Codes associated with the description u201CMaterialu201D
Search for your required transaction code based on your need.
Suppose if our requirement is to create a material then search with the word u201Ccreateu201D in the above list.
Step7 :
It will gives you the sub list of Transaction codes associated with Material and Create search terms
Step6 :
In the above list, we will get all Transaction Codes associated with the description u201CMaterialu201D
Search for your required transaction code based on your need.
Suppose if our requirement is to create a material then search with the word u201Ccreateu201D in the above list.
Step7 :
It will gives you the sub list of Transaction codes associated with Material and Create search terms.
Step8 :
If you observe the list, we got many Transaction Codes including
MM01 u2013 Create Material in the Sub list.
In this way we will get the required Transaction Code using the description only.
This is applicable to any module.

Is it possible to find a base record for a given component through a SQL query ?
Ex:
1. VOUCHER for VCHR_EXPRESS
2. VENDOR for VNDR_ID

For the given examples, the problem is that there are pages in these components that contain subpages with record names specified. The SubPage field type appears to be at level 0, but if you view the SubPage definition, the records are at level 1. This is because the scroll area is contained within the subpage.
In theory, the situation is complicated by the fact that you can have subpages within subpages, which would force you to use a recursive query to fully expand the subpages. In practice, there probably aren't many, if any, pages where a scroll area is buried several subpages deep.
An alternative might be to compare the primary keys of the level 0 records to the primary keys of the add or search record keys. They should only match for the base record. Even this option is not trivial, though.

See, The dimension table starts with Dcubename1 and incremental Dcubename2 .... so on
Ex.ZSD_C01 is your cube name
Dim tables starts for this is /BIC/DZSD_C011 /BIC/DZSD_C012 ...
Goto - LISTSCHEMA - derive cube name from given dim table and enter cube name - execute - will show you all the tables

How to find the data flow for a given module.

Is there a way to find the data flow for a given module(Example AR,AP,......).
I mean are there any predefined document other than user guides that explains with data flow diagrams(including the tables involved).

No such public document available from Oracle unless from Oracle Education.
for some specific operation you can check Process tab inside Oracle Application which shows the data flow as part for workflow process.

Try the tables KSSK,KLAH. Pass the class value as 300 you wil get all the materials which are assigned to class type 300. you can pass the material to MARA to and filter with material type KMAT.

i need to find the BTE event for Finance related transaction codes.i checked in the SWEL transaction code, didnt find any event triggered and the standard BADI doesnt suite my requirement.The transaction code which i tried is FBCJ.can anyone help me how to find the BTE event for the above mentioned transaction.

Hello Lokesh,
The following is one of the process of finding a BTE and implementing it.
(1)Goto transction FIBF .Execute it with Attribute type = 'A'. Then in the menubar Environment->Info System (P/S )
Go through the list of BTE's available with the description available beside.
(2)Select the BTE you want to implement.
(3)Press button Sample function module
(4)This brings you to SE37 - Copy the sample function module to a Z-function module (First create a new function group for the function module) . Note: The name of the Z-functionmodule is not important
(5)Edit the code in the new function module
(6)Go back to transaction FIBF - Menu Settings->Products -> Of a customer and create a new product whicj identifies the new product . Remember to mark the Active field.
(7)Go back to FIBF menu Settings->P/S function modules->of a customer - Create an entry that links the BTE and Product with the new function module

ther is a convenient way to find all BADIS called. You may know that BADIS are the newer version of EXITs.
I would suggest you to go for BADI.
Follow the below steps to find out what all BADI's are called when you press any button in any transaction.
1) Goto se24 (Display class cl_exithandler)
2) Double click on the method GET_INSTANCE.
3) Put a break point at Line no.25 (CASE sy-subrc).
Now
4) Execute SAP standard transaction
5) Press the required button for which you need to write an exit logic, the execution will stop at the break point.
6) Check the values of variable 'exit_name', it will give you the BADI name called at that time.
7) This way you will find all the BADIs called on click of any button in any transaction.

You can search the function module SELECTION_VIEWS_FIND in this forum. You will get the sample code.
Apart from that if only you want to know what are all the views assigned to a material type and try to enhance it then it should be from SPRO.
Go to transaction SPRO.
chose Logistics - General>Material Master>Basic Settings>Material Types>Define Attributes of Material Types
execute and you will get the list of material types.
Now dbl click on the desired material type and you will get an area called as User departments. Here what are all the views are selected those views only appear while you are trying to create (or Change/Display) material master.

i have just started reading about all these-user exits ,customer exits etc.
i have read somewhere that:call to customer exits are triggered by function modules exits.
the structure of function modules are like this:
EXIT_RFEBBU10_001
MEANS
Keyword EXIT followed by program name fllowed by three digits.
and the call is like this:
call customer function 0001.
From above we can conclude that this customer exit must be used in program RFEBBU10.
GOTO SE38 andenter prog name RFEBBU10.check for above function module.
for the rest i stick to the same method for user exits and BADI that we can findthe corresponding TCODES
using Where used lists.
please Tell me if i m wrong!
