How to find Screen element names in a program programatically

Hi Experts,
I have to find out all the table control names in a program. I am able to find all the screen numbers for a program from the table D020S. Is there any functionality to find out the table controls in a program or atleast screen elements in a program?

Hello
You can get the information by calling the below two FM's. First call the FM IAC_GET_DYNPRO_INFO by passing the program name and screen number. This will return an internal table with all the screen elements of structure D021S.
Next loop through this internal table and pass the structure to FM RS_SCRP_GET_FIELD_TYPE_TEXT to know what kind of screen element it is.
Also, if the FILL parameter of the first FM is 'T', then it is a table control.

I'm not sure if the GroupingLevel or GroupNumber fuctions will help. (There description in the on-line help leaves much to be desired, IMHO...)
If not, you could try adding formula fields to each level that sets a global variable to tell your other formula fields what level it is on. If you only have one or two other formulas, and only one or two groups, this really wouldn't be a whole lot easier. But if you had a lot of groups or a lot of formula fields that you want to make "group independent" it could help.
So for each footer, create a formula field like (basic syntax):
WhilePrintingRecords
global geoupLevel as String
groupLevel = "Province"
formula = ""
(changing the name given to groupLevel for each footer). Then in your "generic" formula you could put something like:
WhilePrintingRecords
global groupLevel as string
select case groupLevel
case "Province"
    formula = "Total for " + {Province}
case "Name"
    formula = "Total for " + {Name}
else
    Formula = "Totals"
end select

Find screen by name

I want to write a method that find screen by name: however it
seems that screen doesn't have a property or method that returns
its instance name...
in the following code:
for(var i=0;i<root.numChildScreens;i++){
var cat=root.getChildScreen(i);
trace(cat.instanceName); //undefined
trace(cat.label); //undefined
trace(cat.name);//undefined
trace(cat); //valid
I know how to reference a screen by just doing
parentScreen.childInstanceName, by I want to do it dynamically,
hence the reason for the code above.

DATA:
descr_ref TYPE ref to cl_abap_elemdescr.
START-OF-SELECTION.
descr_ref ?= cl_abap_typedescr=>describe_by_data( p_test ).
WRITE: / 'Typename     :', descr_ref->absolute_name.
WRITE: / 'Kind         :', descr_ref->type_kind.
WRITE: / 'Length       :', descr_ref->length.
WRITE: / 'Decimals     :', descr_ref->decimals.
WRITE: / 'Output Length:', descr_ref->output_length.
WRITE: / 'Help ID      :', descr_ref->help_id.
Kind------> data type (C , I , etc.,)
Help ID---> data element (usually).
There are other classes in ABAP of the form CLABAPDESCR which can provide you with other information. These classes all belong to what is called RTTI (Run Time Type Identification). However, these are available only from 46c. You can explore the other classes, as I think they would be very interesting and useful in the future.

I guess you are looking out for the formname which prints sales related documents.
If this is what you want,then go to the T-code NACE and select the option K1Sales activities and click on the Output Types button on the top.The new window has all the types of Output types listed.Select the most appropriate and double click on the Processing routines button in the left side screen.
The new window lists the program names and the forms associated with that output type.

In ME29n (PO appr), error "Cannot Find Screen Element shell in Replay Mode"

In ME29n (PO approval), in the header I pressed on the release button, the recording went well. and while executing the script it worked well. Problem is When there is any change in the ME29n HEADER screen (e.g. expanding header and collapsing header: specially if header is in Collapsed mode) , ecatt is giving error "Cannot Find Screen Element shell in Replay Mode" "Error in eCATT command SAPGUI".
Please help me how to avoid this error either in recording phase or in SAP settings.
Also discuss how to make ecatt script independent of the system settings like HEADER is in collapsed mode or expanded mode.

Once the value is retrieved into the variable , based on whether you need collapse or not you can put ur SAPGUI recording inside the loop and continue ur operation.
eg:
say currently its collapse and u need collapse to carryout ur process
IF ( RC = "COLLAPSE HEADER CTRL+F5" ).
your process (SAPGUI recording)
ELSE (if its expanded and u need collapse)
call the script to collapse or you can record to collapse and the continue your process
ENDIF.

There is no relationship between reports and business areas. Each report can be built from many folders. Each folder can be in many business areas.
However you can try the following SQL which may give you the result you want for an v5 EUL. You will have to modify for Discoverer 4 EUL:

You do not need to do anything, if your Report server is on the same machine as the Forms server (which is usually the case) you simply use the url as
/reports/rwservlet?report=myreport' and the server will automatically use the default report server.
then you simply use
web.show_document('/reports/rwservlet?userid=scott/tiger@orcl&report=myreport&desformat=htmlcss&desname=test.html'Tony

Found the solution for this.
First In the mediator's routing rule use assign property $in.property.jca.file.FileName to $out.property.jca.file.FileName
In the BPEL's receive activity go to the properties tab and get the property to a BPEL variable. That should do it.
