How to find target class/method

Hi,
I am new in OAF. I am opening a page from form.
In Application -> Function that function name has HTML Call as below
OA.jsp?akRegionCode=WFNTFDETAILSFNPAGE&akRegionApplicationId=601&OAFunc=FND_WFNTF_DETAILSURL on opened web page is
https://host:port/OA_HTML/RF.jsp?function_id=16181&resp_id=51043&resp_appl_id=20003&security_group_id=0&lang_code=US&params=4XiL5F17oKK5MU.FgMDZFWoDyPgv5Ejey36oYszIUcg&oas=9SqEGPzammZ4QL08DZ-W9A..Here OA.jsp is redirecting to RF.jsp and this page invokes a RunFunction inside jsp.
I need to know what class this RunFunction invokes further to show the page?
Also in which directory I can find Java source codes?
Thanks and regards,
Kuldeep

Hi,
1) To enable 'About This Page' link, we need to set profile option "FND: Diagnostics" value to "Yes".
2) To call an OAF page from AOL function we need to mention the page name and path in the 'HTML Call' property (e.g. page name and path: OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/xxx/xxx/xxx/webui/xxxPG). Here OA.jsp takes care of showing the page.
3) All the event handling of the page is taken care by controller class. Regarding this I have already shared some info.
Refer DevGuide for furthur info.

Anand

    Anyone know how to find available classes in a package?
    Given a String like "java.io" I would like to write a method to extract the available classes in this package. I can't seem to find a method for this anywhere in the docs. The package class does not seem to have a method like this.

    Here is some code I tried.
    I'm not very familiar with manipulating JARs The code below is what I tried, but how do I access the packages like "java.io" in the JarFile? and then get the available classes?
    import java.io.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.util.jar.*;
    class Tester
         public static void main(String args[])
              try {
                   JarFile jf = new JarFile("c:/jdk1.3/lib/dt.jar");/* usually rt.jar (and 1.4)*/
                   Enumeration e = jf.entries();
                        while (e.hasMoreElements())
                             Object current = e.nextElement();
                             System.out.println(current.toString() + "class:"+current.getClass());

    Hi
    Open Repository:
    1- On Presentation Layer: Navigate to Subject Area which you want to trace Target Table.
    2- Right Click on desire Measure /Object
    3- List will appear and select 'Query for Physical Table' or 'Query fro Physical Column'.
    4- Window will appear and it will show you list of relevant Physical Tables.
    5- Select one of table and press Go button.
    Your target Tables are in Data warehouse not infromatica, Informatica is Responsible to Design & run your Workflows and other activities.
    However to trace Target table from Informatica (Workflow);
    If you want to trace Target Table than in Informatica you have 2 options.
    1- Openfirst you need to know Workflow, open workflow right click and in property you will see Query and from query you will know target table.
    2- open workflow from Workflow you will Know Mapping and open mapping than you will know Mapplet and from Mapplet you will know target table.
    Open Client >>PowerCenter and Open Mapllet, you will see Target

  • How to find the class name of the  BO

    HI
      How to find out a class for a business object.
    For example for the Business Object FORMABSENC i want to find out the class name.
    iam not able to find out from se24 or swo1.
    Or please suggest me how can i use the method createbapistructure of this businessobject.
    Regards
    vijaya

    Hello Vijay
    When you double-click on "method" AbsenceForm.CreateBapiStructure (transaction SWO1) and switch to tab ABAP you see (on ERP 6.0) that the field Name is empty meaning this BO "method" has not yet been implemented.
    Other methods are implemented by modules of function group SWXA. Checking package SWX you will see that there are no suitable classes around for this object.
    Final remark: Methods of business objects has just a semantic meaning and has nothing to do with object orientation (i.e. classes).

  • How to know the class method behind an enterprise service

    Hi,
    SAP has provided enterprise services for Room booking in Real Estate module. They are even shipping the complete application for a nominal price. But the standard version is not suitable for our client requirement so they want to develop this application inhouse.
    Now my question is:  I know the enterprise services used in this application. How to know the implementing methods behind these enterprise services ?
    If possible suggest which approach will be a better option for the inhouse development.
    1. Webdynpro ABAP and use directly methods behind the enterprise services.
    2. Webdynpro ABAP and create client proxy class for the enterprise services.
    3. Webdynpro JAVA and use the enterprise services.
    4. Using visual composer modelling the application.
    Please suggest the best alternative.
    Best Regards,
    Aleem Mohiuddin.

    Hi
    They are even shipping the complete application for a nominal price. But the standard version is not suitable for our client requirement so they want to develop this application inhouse.
    I assume you are talking about xApps.
    How to know the implementing methods behind these enterprise services ?
    In sproxy transaction you can search service and then you can see class and method implemented behind that particular service.
    1. Webdynpro ABAP and use directly methods behind the enterprise services.
    In my opinion not recommended to bypass ES and use method behind it.
    2. Webdynpro ABAP and create client proxy class for the enterprise services.
    Not sure why you want to create proxy of ES.
    3. Webdynpro JAVA and use the enterprise services.
    4. Using visual composer modelling the application.
    You can use either Webdynpro (ABAP or Java) or VC to model your application which consume ES in backend. Both options are good, you can chose Java or ABAP flavor of dynpro based on skill available in team. VC is very effective in rapid modelling and can be used in protyping or in development of complete application.

  • [SOLVED] Awesome WM autostart questions/how to find program "class"

    Hi there,
    Right so I'm using Awesome WM and want to auto start programs into specific tags.
    This is the code I have, and everything is working as expected:
    --Autostart Programs
    awful.util.spawn_with_shell("chromium")
    awful.util.spawn_with_shell("skype")
    awful.util.spawn_with_shell("spotify")
    -- {{{ Rules
    awful.rules.rules = {
    -- All clients will match this rule.
    { rule = { },
    properties = { border_width = beautiful.border_width,
    border_color = beautiful.border_normal,
    focus = true,
    keys = clientkeys,
    buttons = clientbuttons } },
    { rule = { class = "Chromium" },
    properties = { tag = tags[1][6] } },
    { rule = { class = "Skype" },
    properties = { tag = [1][3]} },
    { rule = { class = "Spotify" },
    properties = { tag = [1][4] } },
    So what I'm wondering is how do I find out what the class of programs for this section: "{ rule = { class = "  " },"?
    I installed Arch on my chromebook and I've been using a lot of the programs such as Evernote and Trello. I have the chrome app drawer (http://www.omgchrome.com/enable-chrome- … her-linux/).
    I created a shortcut and can auto launch programs such as evernote using the chrome app drawer using the command we can see from the desktop entry:
    awful.util.spawn_with_shell("/usr/bin/chromium --profile-directory=Default --app-id=lbfehkoinhhcknnbdgnnmjhiladcgbol")
    However, the issue is that it always opens on whatever tab I'm using. I cannot find the class to add to the rules.
    None of these work:
    { rule = { class = "chrome-lbfehkoinhhcknnbdgnnmjhiladcgbol-Default.desktop" },
    properties = { tag = tags[1][6] } },
    { rule = { class = "Evernote Web" },
    properties = { tag = tags[1][6] } },
    { rule = { class = "/usr/bin/chromium --profile-directory=Default --app-id=lbfehkoinhhcknnbdgnnmjhiladcgbol" },
    properties = { tag = tags[1][6] } },
    Any suggestions on what I can do to find the "class"?

    run 'xprop' in a terminal and your cursor will change to a cross.  Click anywhere on the app you want to identify and the class will be sent to the screen (along with a ton of other stuff)
    It's in the xorg-xprop pkg

  • Find processing class/method

    Hi all,
                      What is easiest way to find out the class/method which is being called from WEB UI. For Example in account creation screen, there are several views incorporated (BP_HEAD, BP_ADDR etc) so after entering all those details, which method handles the actual creation. What is the quickest way to find that for all process or is it that we just have to know the class name beforehand. Like in this case it is CL_BUPA_IL_HEADER.
                     I was trying to come up with easy way in component workbench.

    Good question about the enter button and I'm not really sure.
    As far as your example goes
    So I'm creating an account by clicking Corporate account from the search results screen and then I hit the save button.  I then would place an external break point in the EH_ONSAVE and single step through the process.
    If I want to "guess things more", I could look at table CRMC_GIL_COMP to get the model and relationship tables for my components.  Normally I would be interested in the components:
    BP - Business Partner or
    BT - Business Transactions
    For Business partner I would see the object list.  In addtion I can look at the view CRMV_OBJ_BUIL to get a class to object mapping.  I would also look at my context nodes in the actual view that are being used and see where they map to the names.  This would then give me the points on where to dig for the underlying layer.
    However this is a very non-automated, but "feel it out" method.
    I'm going to make this a sticky and see if we can develop a better answer to your questions.
    Thank you,
    Stephen

  • How to call inner class method in one java file from another java file?

    hello guyz, i m tryin to access an inner class method defined in one class from another class... i m posting the code too wit error. plz help me out.
    // test1.java
    public class test1
         public test1()
              test t = new test();
         public class test
              test()
              public int geti()
                   int i=10;
                   return i;
    // test2.java
    class test2
         public static void main(String[] args)
              test1 t1 = new test1();
              System.out.println(t1.t.i);
    i m getting error as
    test2.java:7: cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : variable t
    location: class test1
              System.out.println(t1.t.geti());
    ^

    There are various ways to define and use nested classes. Here is a common pattern. The inner class is private but implements an interface visible to the client. The enclosing class provides a factory method to create instances of the inner class.
    interface I {
        void method();
    class Outer {
        private String name;
        public Outer(String name) {
            this.name = name;
        public I createInner() {
            return new Inner();
        private class Inner implements I {
            public void method() {
                System.out.format("Enclosing object's name is %s%n", name);
    public class Demo {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Outer outer = new Outer("Otto");
            I junior = outer.createInner();
            junior.method();
    }
