How to find the log of removing a job

If a job is removed, how can a DBA know who did it and from which client station? I have looked into the online log, but found no evidence.

  • How to find the logged-in username

    Hello everyone,
    My application needs to find the logged-in username from the
    operating system, which in this case will always be Windows. This
    would be the same as the USERNAME environment variable that can be
    obtained from typing "set" from the command prompt. Anyone know how
    this can be done? Many thanks, --Bob

    Hi,
    There's no direct API for this, but you can try:
    var username:String = File.userDirectory.name;

  • How to find the log file

    Hi,
    I am using include directive for including a jsp and i am able to trace the errors in a log file(say mod_servj) but when i use action directive i am unable to find the errors.Can anyone please help me out.

    Try to check in the following location
    /u02/soasitap/sitap/FMW_HOME/user_projects/domains/sit_domain/servers/
    AdminServer/logs/AdminServer.log
    The same way you can check the log file for the SOA server also.

  • DBMS_DATAPUMP; how to get the log file of a job?

    Hi
    I want the user to be able to see the logfile of his job from another session.
    this is my procedure
    create or replace procedure get_job_log (p_job_name IN varchar2 )
    is
    hdl_job  number;
    l_job_state     VARCHAR2 (20);
    l_status        sys.ku$_Status1010;
    l_job_status    sys.ku$_JobStatus1010;
    l_job_logentry sys.ku$_LogEntry1010;
    l_job_logline  sys.ku$_LogLine1010;
    begin
    hdl_job := DBMS_DATAPUMP.ATTACH(
                                         job_name   => p_job_name
                                        ,job_owner  => 'CLONE_USER'
    DBMS_DATAPUMP.GET_STATUS(
       handle  => hdl_job
       ,mask   => dbms_datapump.ku$_status_job_error + dbms_datapump.ku$_status_job_status + dbms_datapump.ku$_status_wip
       --,timeout   => 15
       ,job_state =>l_job_state
       ,status    =>l_status);
    l_job_logentry:=l_status.wip ;
    for x in l_job_logentry.first .. l_job_logentry.last loop
       dbms_output.put_line (l_job_logentry(x).LogText) ;
    end loop;
    dbms_datapump.detach(hdl_job);
    end;
    /when I run it for the first time, it works... kindof...
    but my problem is that if I try running it again I get:
    ORA-31626: job does not exist
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SYS_ERROR", line 79
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DATAPUMP", line 902
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DATAPUMP", line 3407
    if I close sqlplus session , open new one and run - it works. So what is the issue here? Is detach not enough? What else should I do?
    my version is 11.1.0.6
    UPDATE.
    Looks like the above is not true. It doesn't error if it runs to the end of code... The problem seems to happen only when exception occures and .detach is not called. So this is not an issue anymore.
    But I still don't get a decent performance from the .get_status function. Sometimes it just hangs and errors on timeout.
    Still the question is: How can I get the LOG of the session using DBMS_DATAPUMP from another session and output it on the screen?...

    I believe I found a solution
    I am now running the above code only 1 time but in a loop and inserting output into a table, so that user can query the table and see where the job is
    here's the code I'm using (partially copied from http://psoug.org/reference/dbms_datapump.html)
    l_job_state:='UNDEFINED';
    while (l_job_state != 'COMPLETED') and (l_job_state != 'STOPPED') loop
         DBMS_DATAPUMP.GET_STATUS(
            handle  => hdl_job
           ,mask   => dbms_datapump.ku$_status_job_error + dbms_datapump.ku$_status_job_status + dbms_datapump.ku$_status_wip
         --,timeout   => 15
           ,job_state =>l_job_state
           ,status    =>l_status);
         if (bitand(l_status.mask,dbms_datapump.ku$_status_wip) != 0) then
           l_job_logentry:=l_status.wip ;
           if (l_job_logentry is not null) then
                for x in l_job_logentry.first .. l_job_logentry.last loop
                    --dbms_output.put_line (l_job_logentry(x).LogText ) ;
                    writelog (l_job_logentry(x).LogText );
                end loop;
           end if;
         end if;
         if (bitand(l_status.mask,dbms_datapump.ku$_status_job_error) != 0) then
            l_job_error :=l_status.error ;
            if  (l_job_error is not null) then
                for x in l_job_error.first .. l_job_error.last loop
                    dbms_output.put_line (l_job_error(x).LogText) ;
                    writelog('Error: '|| l_job_error(x).LogText) ;
                end loop;
            end if;
         end if;
         --dbms_output.put_line ('Current job state: '||l_job_state);
         writelog ('Current job state: '||l_job_state);

    select * from v$resource_limit;Lists about 20 different resources with current, maximum and limit on usage. Session count is one of them. I don't think there's any (simple, efficient) way to determine the maximum number of different users of sessions, though.

  • How to find the deleted transport req logs.

    Hello gurus,
    in my DEV box some body was deleted the transport request.
    i need to know that by whom that request was deleted. the thing is that request was not released  and not imported into any system. that request was deleted after the creation.
    but now i am confused how to check the logs. i have searched the log file in trans directory and also SLOG,ALOG.
    i guess there is no use of import history in STMS because that request not existed in the system?
    then how can i find the deleted person. and time.
    Could you please do let me know.
    help would be heighly appreciated.
    Regards,
    srini.

    hi!
    Are you sure that the transport request was deleted?
    Perhaps Transport request is a local transport and when you release the transport it will not create the export files.

  • How to find the configuration status of REDO logs files?

    I am in the process of moving the redo log files.
    Before that I want to find out whether it is set up as duplex or any other configurations.
    How to find the REDO log configurations.
    Oracle 10g R2
    Thank you,

    Example:
    Not duplexed redo log - if number of member is 1, then it is not duplexed:
    SQL> select group#, members from v$log;
        GROUP#    MEMBERS
             1          1

    SQL> alter database add logfile member '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/db1/redo01_2.log' to group 1;
    Database altered.
    SQL> alter database add logfile member '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/db1/redo02_2.log' to group 2;

    SQL> alter database add logfile member '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/db1/redo03_2.log' to group 3;
    Database altered.Duplexed redolog
    SQL> select group#, members from v$log;
        GROUP#    MEMBERS
             1          2
             2          2
             3          2
    SQL> select group#, member from v$logfile;

  • How to find the level of each child table in a relational model?

    Earthlings,
    I need your help and I know that, 'yes, we can change'. Change this thread to a answered question.
    So: How to find the level of each child table in a relational model?
    I have a relacional database (9.2), all right?!
         O /* This is a child who makes N references to each of the follow N parent tables (here: three), and so on. */
        /↑\ Fks
       O"O O" <-- level 2 for first table (circle)
      /↑\ Fks
    "o"o"o" <-- level 1 for middle table (circle)
       ↑ Fk
      "º"Tips:
    - each circle represents a table;
    - red tables no have foreign key
    - the table in first line of tree, for example, has level 3, but when 3 becomes N? How much is N? This's the question.
    I started thinking about the following:
    First I have to know how to take the children:
    select distinct child.table_name child
      from all_cons_columns father
      join all_cons_columns child
    using (owner, position)
      join (select child.owner,
                   child.constraint_name fk,
                   child.table_name child,
                   child.r_constraint_name pk,
                   father.table_name father
              from all_constraints father, all_constraints child
             where child.r_owner = father.owner
               and child.r_constraint_name = father.constraint_name
               and father.constraint_type in ('P', 'U')
               and child.constraint_type = 'R'
               and child.owner = 'OWNER') aux
    using (owner)
    where child.constraint_name = aux.fk
       and child.table_name = aux.child
       and father.constraint_name = aux.pk
       and father.table_name = aux.father;Thinking...

    Justin,
    Understood.
    Nocycle not work in 9.2 and, even that would work, would not be appropriate.
    With your help, I decided a much simpler way (but there is still a small problem, <font color=red>IN RED</font>):

  • Sir,how to find the last DML operations

    Hi,
    Please tell me how to find the last DML Operations at least minimum 30 queries.
    Thanks in advance,

    Shared Pool is a memory location in SGA that contains SQL Statement that are submitted to Oracle for execution. This area is common to the entire database. Its not specific to user.
    So what ever Unique SQL statement that is submitted to the SQL Engine will be available here. Shared Pool has a size limit. That is defined by the parameters SHARED_POOL_SIZE and SHARED_POOL_RESERVED_SIZE. So when the Shared pool becomes full the data needs to be removed from it. That is done in FIFO basis.
    Oracle provides a visibility to this area through dictionary view V$SQLAREA. So this view will not only contain the SQL executed by you but also by every one. Even the one executed by oracle itself.
    So in my opinion what you are asking is not possible to get. You must have some logging mechanism in your application to get this information.

  • How to find the number of ODBC connections to Oracle Database

    Hi All,
    How to find the number of ODBC connections and all connections to the Database in last week. Are there any views to get this information?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mahi

    What Ed said is true that Oracle doesn't note which type of protocol is connecting to the database, however, you can see which program is accessing the database.
    For example: if you already know of a user using ODBC, you can verify as:
    select username, osuser, terminal, program from v$session where username = 'SCOTT'
    USERNAME                 OSUSER          TERMINAL   PROGRAM
    SCOTT                    IUSR_SRV231     SRV231     w3wp.exe
    SCOTT                    IUSR_SRV231     SRV231     w3wp.exe
    2 rows selected.Assuming that you can confirm the progam noted in the above (example) is the one using ODBC, then you can change the query such as:
    SQL> select username, osuser, terminal, program from v$session where program = 'w3wp.exe';
    USERNAME                 OSUSER          TERMINAL   PROGRAM
    SCOTT                    IUSR_SRV231     SRV231     w3wp.exe
    SCOTT                    IUSR_SRV231     SRV231     w3wp.exe
    2 rows selected.Just for kicks, I checked our listener.log file, but there was no reference of odbc in it either.
    Hope this helps...

  • How to find discoverer log files and CPU usage

    Hi,
    i have a report running very slow in prod. but runs fast in dev and qa.
    **Where/how can i find the Log files generated after the report runs?**
    **Also i wanted to see how i can find the CPU Usage**
    i searched online for CPU usage... and found this --> ""For the CPU usage of these servlets, please navigate to the Discoverer application page from the OC4J_BI_Forms home page in the EM standalone console.""
    can anyone tell me how to navigate to OC4J_BI_Forms home page in the EM standalone console?
    Thanks!

    and http://docs.huihoo.com/oracle/docs/B14099_19/bi.1012/b13918/tshoot.htm#CHDHFJDE
    Be careful,if not done without prior knowledge it would mess up.So mostly this job should be done by DBA of your company.They can log in as sysadministrator to get to "Enterprise Manager" and do as per the link

  • How to find the most matched values in the set of map?

    Hi friends!
    I have two vectors
    vector<int> V1; vector<int> V2;
    and a map<int, set<int>> M1;
    I want to select common values from both V1 and V2 and check those values with the set in the map M1.
    For example:
    V1 contains;
    2  4  6  8  9
    V2 contains;
    4  5  6  9  10
    M1 contains;
    1=>1  2  5  9
    2=>4
    3=>5   10
    4=>2  4  8
    5=>4   9
    6=>4   6
    7=>9  12
    When we select the common values of V1 and V2 it is 4, 6, 9.
    And we search for all 4, 6, 9 from the values of M1 which give more appropriate.
    But, no all values in the set of map.
    Then, we delete any value from 4, 6, 9, then remaining values would match any values from the map.
    From the example, if we delete 6, then remaining 4, 9 will match with 5=>4  9, or if we delete 9, then 6=>4   6. Any one of the keys can be selected.
    I know how to select the common values from V1 and V2, but I do not know how to match with the values and select the appropriate key from M1.
    Could anyone help me to solve this?

    This is not the question you asked, except perhaps in the subject. The subject is not the right place to put key features of the question. It is also important to use the body to ask just the question you want
    answered. For example your real question has nothing to do with V1 and V2, just the common vector V (e.g. 4 6 9).
    One way to solve your problem would be to create a new map
    map<int, set<int>> M2;
    with the same keys as M1. Each set of M2 should contain the elements of V that are
    not in the corresponding set of M1.
    Then pick the key of M2 that has the smallest set. If that set is empty, then the whole of V can be used. Otherwise the smallest set tells which elements of V have to be removed, and which is the desired key of M1.
    In your example, key 5 of M2 will contain just 6, so you should remove 6 from V and select key 5.
    Yes fine. I tried the following code and it creates the map M2 (NewMyMap in my code). But how to find the smallest set starting from size 1?
    #include <vector>
    #include <algorithm>
    #include <iostream>
    #include <map>
    #include <set>
    using namespace std;
    typedef vector<int> IntVec;

    bool IsValueNotInSet(int value, IntSet& S);
    SetMap CreatNewSetMap();
    IntVec IVec; //This vector is for selecting certain keys from mySet map.
    IntVec myVec;
    SetMap mySet;
    SetMap NewMyMap;
    int main()
    IVec.push_back(3); IVec.push_back(4); IVec.push_back(5); IVec.push_back(6);
    myVec.push_back(4); myVec.push_back(6); myVec.push_back(9);
    IntSet tempS;
    tempS.insert(1); tempS.insert(2); tempS.insert(5); tempS.insert(9);
    mySet.insert(make_pair(1,tempS));
    tempS.clear();
    tempS.insert(4);
    mySet.insert(make_pair(2,tempS));
    tempS.clear();
    tempS.insert(5); tempS.insert(10);
    mySet.insert(make_pair(3,tempS));
    tempS.clear();
    tempS.insert(2); tempS.insert(4); tempS.insert(8);
