  • How to find the WSDL URL for my deployed portlet

    Hello,
I do not find the WSDL URL for my deployed portlet. I deployed a Portlet correctly with JDeveloper to a remote Oracle AS.
    In the tutorial they write:
"Now use the URL provided in the log page at the bottom of JDeveloper to get part of your URL (e.g. http://myserver.uk.oracle.com:8888/my-portlet) and complete the URL.
    http://myserver.uk.oracle.com:8888/my-portlet/portlets?WSDL
Now use this URL to register your portlet with OracleAS Portal."
But in the log there is nothing like this! The log ends like this:
    "DCM command completed successfully.
    Output:
Exit status of DCM servlet client: 0
Elapsed time for deployment: 13 seconds
    ---- Deployment finished. ---- 11-Mar-2006 12:26:58"
Can anyone tell me where to finde the WSDL Url?
    Thank you.

OK I think that I found a quick workaround for this issue. Creating a redirection URL using the parameter icm/HTTP/redirect_<xx> works for me.
    Parameter:
icm/HTTP/redirect_0    (Value '0' may differ for your system)
    Value:
    PREFIX=/ws1, TO=/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/srvc_08002720027F1EE3AEAAFED3B5688C63/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=001
Now the WSDL URL can be reached at
    http://was730.dvlopr.com:8000/ws1
    Tested!

  • After deployment got "404 Not Found".  How to find the correct URL?

    To the experienced:
In preparing to deploy my application, I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 to deploy the application to the standalone oc4j server that is included in JDeveloper. After the deployment, I get the "404 Not Found" error when trying to invoke the application in a browser. The deployment looks OK, becasue the log window in JDeveloper showed no error when running deployment from inside JDeveloper. Therefore I guess the question is how to find out the correct URL to invoke the application. The steps I took in doing the deployment are as follows.
I first installed the standalone oc4j by running the <jdev_home>\jdev\bin\start_oc4j .bat file. The installation is OK because I deployed the SRTutorial applcation and invoked it in a browser successfully.
The WAR file was created by right-clicking the ViewController project and select to create a WAR file. To the application's Context Root its own name, I typed "ZB" in the box for the context root.
Then in ViewController -> Resources, right_click the deployment file (ZBOV.deploy) and chose "Deploy to" the local_standalone_oc4j. The messages in JDeveloper's log window for the deployment are all clean without errors.
I then used this url to invoke the deployed application in a browser:
    http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
But I got an "404 Not Found" error. Right away I tried invoking the SRTutorial application, and it runs fine.
login.jspx is one of the pages for the appllication. In the application navigator, it is located with other files in the ViewController/Web Content/staff folder, therefore I used /staff/login.jspx after ZB/faces.
What could be wrong? If the deployment is actually successful, how to find out the correct url to invoke the application?
    Many thanks for your help!
    Newman

    Hi, Arun,
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it but got the same error.
I tried it by first undeploying the application using the enterprise manager page (which is also part of the oc4j included in JDeveloper). I select the application and clicked the undeploy link, confirmed that I wanted to remove it. And it was removed.
Then in JDeveloper, I right-clicked the ViewController, and in the properties of the probject selected "J2EE Application" and then selected "Use Custom Settings", then in the "J2EE Web Context Root" box I entered "ZB". Created the deployment profile again, overwriting the existing one, and then right-clicked the ZB.deploy node to deploy to the standalone oc4j on the localhost. And I used the url:
    http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
And I got the same "404 Not Found" error.
There was no error at the time of deployment using the ZB.deploy profile. On the enterprise manager page, the path of the deployed application is given as /C:/jdev10134/j2ee/home/applications/ZB.ear, and the folder of the deployed application is there. Question is: if the deployment is actually OK, can the correct URL be found in some file somewhere in the folder?
All ideas and suggestions are very much appreciated!

  • How to find the WSDL URLs in NW CE 7.1 EhP1?

    Hi,
I have upgraded my dev system from NW CE 7.1 SP5 to NW CE 7.1 EhP1. In this new version, the layout of the Web Service Navigator changed.
I used to use the old WS Navigator to find out the URLs where the WSDLs for services are available. I deployed my components (EJB projects with web services implemented by Enterprise Beans), located them in the WS Navigator and used the WSDLs there to generate Java clients to that services.
However, the new WS Navigator does not show the WSDL URL any more if you choose "Vendor System (Anwendersystem)" and then "Local AS Java (Lokaler AS Java)".
Any ideas where I can get the WSDL URLs? I have been searching the whole NW Administrator, but could not find that information.
    Best regards,

Patrik, you can also view the WSDL url in WS Navigator:
    1 - In "Service Test" tab, choose your service, and follow all steps until to get the result of the service execution (step 4);
    2 - In Step 4 (Result), click in "Add to Test Scenario";
    3 - In "Test Scenario" tab, choose the test scenario of your service and click in "Change Services Access";
4 - Now, you can see the WSDL url in the popup.

  • How to find the PAR file for standard iviews??

    HI all,
I am trying to customize some screens provided by the standard EP portal. But i am not understanding which will be the PAR file which has code for these iviews.
For example, in the "Approval screen for New user registration" has an iview which displays the info given by the user(seeing which user admin will either approve or reject the new user). I need to change this.
Also the screen where new user enters his information(when the company feature is enabled,it shows a second screen where Contact info of the user, etc. are asked) , needs to be changed which also some iviews.
Please help me in finding the right PAR file and the JSP which needs to be edited for this purpose (and how to find these in general for any standard screens)
    Regards,
    Narahari

    Hi Narahari,
--and how to find these in general for any standard screens)
For getting the right par file for any standard iviews, Check out the property named <b>Code link</b>, which is there in the property list of every iview. This will give you a clear cut idea on which PAR file you have to edit to obtain the desired result.

  • How to find the Destination URL of a Button

I have a text field and a GO button, when I click on the GO button the information from the text field to the URL on the button.
I want to replicate the same thing on another GO button.
Basically I need the URI on the seeded GGO button.
    Document:/oracle/apps/cs/knowledge/solution/search/webui/SolBSearchHeaderRN
    Region:SearchCriteriaRN

what do you mean when you say
"when I click on the GO button the information from the text field to the URL on the button"
Do you mean that you see the link of the button as something when you hover over it and it has the value of text field appended to the link ?
If that is the case, this may not be a simple go button and could be a submit button instead of a simple button.
    Thanks

  • Hi can anyone tell me how to make the forms url short to the end user

    Hi,
Im using oracle forms 11gR2 and everything is working fine, but my question in how to make the forms url short to the end user.
For example my forms url is  " http://localhost:9001/forms/frmservlet "  now i want to modify this url as   "myweb.gov.ae"
can anybody suggest me the possibilities to change to default forms url to our own url as mentioned in the above example.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Hari

You would have to either -
    * edit the code pointed to by the new action attribute to
    include the form
    processing and email generation, or
    * edit the form processing script to also include the insert
    record and
    check user name scripting
The former is probably the better procedure, since I suppose
    you'd want to
do the check user name before sending the email.
    Unfortunately, this means
you will have to get your hands into the code, or hire
    someone to do it for
    you.

    Try going to the following
    Tools->Web Developer-> Page Source.
You can also access this by way of keyboard shortcut Ctrl + U
The View Page Source option is also available via the right-click menu by just right-clicking inside the page window & it will be the penultimate menu item.

  • How to find the Quicklink from INavigationNode

    Hi All,
I am using the tagLibrary to build the Top Level and Detailed Level Navigation. We are trying to use the Quicklinks(Short URLs of SP14) as the URLs for all the links in Top Level and detailed navigation.
However I am not able to get the Quicklink from the NavigationNode, I am not able to find any API which would give me the short URL given the NavigationNode.
If anybody has any idea how in can retrieve it, it will be of Great help.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ankur

    Hi Ankur,
do you mean "quick link" or "short url"? These are different concepts!
    Quick links: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/97/b0ef8b24a64ae884f0ab246e54cae5/frameset.htm and http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/04/90320fb9994fcf9293497eead06614/frameset.htm
    Short URLs: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b3/7b8163404448e7aad7899c0b30313e/frameset.htm and http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3c/125b07ce964b1eac2115b7b3c8bf9f/frameset.htm
I expect you want to achieve the latter technique. The last link provided gives the most information: The feature is centrally switched on/off; methods to retrieve the corresponding kind of URL are given.
Anyhow, the navNodeAnchor is configurable, too. Just set hashURL to true or false, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/42/f34c5ea7203255e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm
The QuickLinks are only resolvable in the other direction: You must provide a quicklink that then can be resolved into a "real" link.
    Hope it helps

I am looking for a descriptive short document which would ideally give me comlete picture in IDOC processing, transactions used etc.
    E.g

  • How to find the average of table row values it should display in next row in libwindow/CVI

    Hi,
How to find the average of table row values it should display in next row in libwindow/CVI
Please let me know the solution.

There isn't a built-in function to perform calculations on thable cells. What you can do is to retrieve thable cells values and calculate the average by yourself.
To retrieve a bunch of cells in a single instruction you can use GetTableCellRangeVals: prerequisite for this function to work correctly is that cells are all included in a Rect structure (shortly, a rectangle) and are all of the same data type. See the help for the function for some explanations and the link to an example of its usage. In Cell range parameter you can pass VAL_TABLE_ROW_RANGE (row) macro to retrieve an entire row. See here for details.
Once you have retrieved cell values in an array, you can pass it to Mean function to calculate the average.
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.
