How to find total jobs running under OEM.??

Hi,
Can anyone tell me, in OEM, how can we find out total jobs which are running or on-ice or scheduled etc.?? Is there any way to trace it out total jobs under OEM..??
Thanks in advance..
-Mahesh.

HI,
Thanks for your reply, but actually in our project Human Intervention is nowhere considered. Administrator should get all info through mail, once a job is scheduled with specific requirements it will send mails about the job status (failure, success etc).
So this should be done using OEM provided tables or any SQL queries (I think so..) I have got following link, where it has FLAG EVENTS like "job_started, job_succeeded, job_failed" etc through which it may be possible to schedule a job using above flags.
http://www.psoug.org/reference/dbms_scheduler.html
But I am not getting how to use them as I am not a PL/SQL or shell script programmer.. :( Any idea how to use them..??
Thanks

  • How to find the job and job status from RSPCM

    hi all,
suppose we got an error and in rspcm the process was failed.i want to know the status of that particular job.and if any i want to stop that job in SM37.
plz tell me how to find the job and job ststus from RSPCM...and how to stop that job in SM37
    thanks,
    jack

    Hi Jack,
    RSPCM: T.Code
This transaction is used to monitor the process chains
    First:
here you need to add the process chains into the sheet
    Second:
Then you can monitor the process chains in this transaction code
Like you can see the :  status ,proces chain ,Last run date ,Last run time ,Log ID
Status : Green when sucessful,Yellow when running & Red when you get errors
Now when yoy click on any of the process chain in RSPCM you will go to the LOG VIEW as you see in RSPC transaction
    SM37:T.code
This transaction is used for Job Overview
you can see many options in SM37
    like Released,active,cancelled,finished,etc
Just select the ACTIVE  jobs and also pass STAR in JOB ID & USER ID
here you can only see the active jobs
    Goto Step in toolbar
    select the program displayed
then chose option GOTO - Variant in main menu bar
in the variant you can see the job belong to which Process chain
if you want to cancel this job come back to SM37 Display screen
Select the Job and select the JOB DETAILS tab in Tool Bar
Collect the WIP ( Work Permit ID)
Go to SM50 T.code and find the WIP
in Main Menu Bar you find the option Cancel with Core choose this it will cancel the Job

  • How to find total recs in a local table for a particular condition

    Hi,
How to find total recs in a local table for a particular condition?
    Thanks,
    CD

Well, you may want to try this as well, and compare to the LOOP way.  Not sure what kind of overhead you may get doing this way. Here ITAB is our main internal table, and ITAB_TMP is a copy of it.  Again I think there may be some overhead in doing the copy.  Next, delete out all records which are the reverse of your condition.  Then whatever is left is the rows that you want to count.  Then simply do a LINES operator on the internal table, passing the number of lines to LV_COUNT.
data: itab type table of ttab.
data: itab_tmp type table of ttab.
    itab_tmp[] = itab[].
    delete table itab_tmp where fld1 <> 'A'.
    lv_count = lines( itab_tmp ).

  • How to Find Which Programs running in my Domain Computers

How to Find Which Programs running in my Domain Computers.

In addition, there are other third tools you can use. Here is a script from the TechNet Scripting Gallery:
    List All Installed Software
Returns a list of all software installed on a computer, whether or not by Windows Installer. This script reads installed applications from the registry. (See Richard Mueller's comment on how to output it to a CSV file)
    http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/8035d5a9-dc92-436d-a60c-67d381da15a3/view/Discussions
Of course that's just running it against one computer. There's also a script in the above link (scroll to the bottom) that will find installed software of a list of computers in a network and also detect the defined forbidden installed software, and
another script that will uninstall that software remotely.
Overall however, if you want to do this network wide with much a much easier method (although more complex to setup), I agree with using SCCM or Spiceworks. There is also Altiris, and a number of other third party solutions that you can use.
Maybe if you can provide more specific information on the end result of the solution you are looking for, we can provide more specifics to help you.

  • How can find out long run quries?

    Hi,
    I have some question
how can find out long run queries , i have use v$session but i have not find out,pls how can find out
    these queries.

v$session_longops has some limitations, for example it records only some operations see more [url http://www.gplivna.eu/papers/v$session_longops.htm]here
Another possibility might be using statspack and/or [url http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14211/autostat.htm#PFGRF02601]AWR
    From docs:
The most current instructions and information on installing and using the Statspack package are contained in the spdoc.txt file installed with your database. Refer to that file for Statspack information. On Unix systems, the file is located in the ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin directory. On Windows systems, the file is located in the ORACLE_HOME\rdbms\admin directory.

  • How to find total memory for Oralce Memory utilization

    Hi,
How to find total amount of memory utilized by oracle including SGA+PGA+PROCESS
    Thanks,
    Abk

Is you OS 32-bit ? If you add /3gb in boot.ini , then it will limit oracle.exe to go only upto 3gb.
Add /PAE in the boot.ini and remove /3gb.
then use db_block_buffers parameter instead of db_cache_size
for using db_block_buffers, you need to set another parameter also.
    use_indirect_data_buffers=true
    db_block_buffers=<number of blocks
    db_block_buffers=db_cache_size in kilobytes /db_block_size
(since db_block_size is 8 kllobytes by default in Windows..

    Hi All,
Can u please tell me how can i find the current running jobs in oracle.
    OS : windows
    DB VERSION: 10.2.0.1
    Thanks,
    srini...

    Don't think so..
For the running jobs ( the ones in flight right now..)
    if you used the scheduler
    select owner , job_name , running_instance, session_id from all_scheduler_running_jobs
    order by owner , job_name
If you used dbms_job ( you really should the scheduler ...)
select job, instance, sid from dba_jobs_running
    order by instance, job

Sun app.server provides monitoring facility using which we can find how many connections are in use, how many clients are in wait-queue etc.,
You can refer the following URL of
Sun Java System Application Server 8 - Administration guide.
