How to fit an image to window width

hello
wat is the code for fitting an image to window width in an image monitoring
system.

Hi,
No the problem is not the layout, I am using the lable on a panel with null layout. Probably you dont understand my situation.
Lets take an exemple:
-my Lable has a width and a height of 10 cm,
-the image has a width and a height of 20 cm,
So I just can see an area of the image of 10x10, the rest is "outside" the lable.
What I want is to stretch the picture into the lable,i.e. in my case, to "shrink" the picture to the size of the lable, 10x10, when the picture is showed.

  • How to get ISO image of Windows 7

    The instructions for installing Boot Camp and Windows says:
    To install Windows 7 with a USB flash drive, you need the following:
    An ISO image of Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate downloaded from Microsoft.
    Where do I get that?
    A search turned up numerous baffling options, 64-bit this, 32-bit that. How do I know what I need to get started?

    You get it from Microsoft's site http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/shop/windows-7. You did not say what computer you have but I assume you have a 64 bit computer and OS. Get Windows 64 bit.

  • IPhoto Library Backed Up to EHD. How do I transfer images to Windows 7 PC?

    I recently backed up an iPhoto library from a Mac Desktop PC to an external hard drive following specific instructions attained from Apple, including formatting the EHD for Mac OS first. I am now trying to transfer/copy/move the image files from the external hard drive to a windows 7 PC. The windows PC fails to recognize the external hard drive when connected--it is not listed as a device with removable storage as it was before I did the formatting of the drive for  Mac OS and copied iPhoto library to it. However, when I go to eject the EHD using safely remove the hardware, the EHD is listed as a connected device.
    How can I access the image files on the EHD now on a Windows 7 PC?
    Any suggestions/explainations/critisms are much appreciated!!
    XOXOXO

    If the drive has been formatted on the Mac the format is probably Mac OS Extended (Journaled) which is not readable by a PC. However as Niel mentioned if the drive as Fat 32 or exFat than a PC could read it. You can find out what the format is by asking the Mac owner to highlight the drive in Finder then type Command I (I as Ivan) and it will say how it has been formatted. The data will look similar to:
    Assuming the drive isn't formatted so a PC can read it then  you have many options open. First would be to put the files on a Flash Drive or they could be emailed to you or if you can get on then same network you could turn on file sharing so you could simply copy and paste the files. Last the ower could get another EHD format so the PC could read it and copy the files to that drive.

  • How to fit the images within textframe in indesign using javascript?

    Hi,
    We are using the update script for updating the values in table.
    If i am using images within textframe, the table is not fitting after updating it. Without using images the table is fitting.
    First i have dragged the table in Indesign document. Then i have altered the image size and updated the table using Update script.
    Finally i want to fit the table with the resized images.
    Note: I can get the updated values in table . but i cannot get the resized images.( Now i can get the original image after updating the table)
    Please help me if anyone has idea regarding this issue.
    Thanks,
    Vimala L

    Hi,
    Please find below the Update Script,
    var myDocument = app.activeDocument;
    var updateOption = app.scriptArgs.get("updateOption");
    main();
    function main()
    if(updateOption=="UPDATE")
      UpdateLink();
    function UpdateLink()
    myDoc = app.activeDocument;
    myLinks = myDoc.links;
    for (j = myLinks.length - 1; j >= 0; j--)

      var ext =  myName.substring(myName.length-3,myName.length) ;
    if (myLinks[j].status == LinkStatus.linkOutOfDate)
    myLinks[j].update();
    After running this script i cannot get the image in table.
    While running the Fitting script followed by Update script i am getting the Original size of the image. But i want the re-sized image in table.
    Fitting Script:

  • Create a collage of images by fitting individual images without overlapping

    I need to create a collage of 1-10 images.
    The images shouldn't overlap.
    They can be resized though and should fit into the given canvas in a best-fit manner.
    No drag and drop. The user will only submit the input images.
    The algorithm should decide how to fit the images in the best possible way.

  • How do I get "fit to window width" to work?

    I'm having a problem getting "fit to window width" to work.  It was working ok until recently.  I'm viewing a letter size page and full page view is at 73.1%.  When I select fit to window width it goes to 72.9% and is still in full page view.
    Is there some setting somewhere to fix this?
    Thanks,

  • How do I find the current browser window width in pixels?

    I'm writing a PHP script that will use the current browser
    window width
    and height, but I don't know how to find that. Is there some
    way to
    capture the width and height of the current window in pixels?
    TIA

    Thanks Micha, you certainly may ask why.
    I posted a message some time ago in the appdev forum about
    the Recordset
    Paging server behavior being geared toward use with tables. I
    was
    frustrated because I wanted to do something with repeated
    div's in a
    liquid site. But the Recordset Paging s.b. locks the number
    of records
    per page to a fixed number. I'm trying to figure out how to
    make the
    records per page a variable that's determined by the window
    width. I've
    created a liquid site with a products page that contains both
    text and
    thumbnail product images. The text occupies 2/3 of the width
    of the
    window, and the div container that holds the floated div
    thumbnails I
    want to account for the other third. The thumbnail div's are
    produced by
    a WHILE statement and I want them to be paged based on the
    number of
    div's that will fit within a container that occupies a
    percent of the
    browser window width. Here's what I've got so:
    $window_size_wide = ; // Current browser window width in px
    $window_size_tall = ; // Current browser window height in px
    $thumb_cont_wide = $window_size_wide * .3; // 30% of window
    width incl.
    padding in px
    $thumb_cont_tall = $window_size_tall * .4; // 40% of window
    height incl.
    padding in px
    $thumb_size_wide = 100; // thumbnail div width incl. margins
    in px
    $thumb_size_tall = 100; // thumbnail div height incl. margins
    in px
    $no_thumbs_wide =
    ceil(($thumb_cont_wide/$thumb_size_wide)-1);
    $no_thumbs_tall =
    ceil(($thumb_cont_tall/$thumb_size_tall)-1);
    $records_per_page = ($no_thumbs_wide * $no_thumbs_tall);
    $offset = ($thispage - 1) * $records_per_page;
    $total_pages = ceil($total_records/$records_per_page);
    etc.
    What I don't know is how to find the current window width or
    height. I
    would also like to know if the $thumb_cont_wide and the
    $thumb_cont_tall
    can be determined in some way based on the div size generated
    through my
    CSS. In other words, I don't want to declare the percent of
    height and
    width in this script, I want to declare it only in my CSS and
    have it
    determined by the browser window width and height. The only
    element I
    want to hard code is the size of the thumbnails as they will
    always be
    the same. It seems to me that something like this could be
    done to make
    recordset paging scalable to match a scalable web page.
    So the question is, can I define a PHP variable based on a
    Javascript
    variable? If so, how? If not, how can I accomplish this? Is
    this just
    not possible?
    Thanks for your help.

  • How to display an image in a window ?

    Hi all,
    Could someone point me to a document that explains (preferably with code samples) how I go about displaying a JPEG image in a window.
    What I'm eventually trying to create is a slideshow, but for now, I just want to add an image to a JFrame and have that display, and even this simple first step is beyond me. There seem to be quite a few different classes to deal with images, but I'm just looking for the simplest one.
    With a view to my future requirements, I will want to be able to dynamically shrink an image so that it fits in the window, as well as cropping images so that the full resolution is displayed, but anything that doesn't fit in the window is chopped off.

    how to place an image in the cells of a grid and to drag and drop that image. i have the code to locate the postion of each cell on mouse click. now i want to place an image in particular cell and i want to drag and drop that particular image to other cells of grid.

    hi,
    Maximum size is fixed for selection-screen.
    Split your text into different lines to fit it.
    Create a text element for your text and write it as comments.
    selection-screen begin of block b3 with frame title text-041.

    While loading I am maintaining image aspect ratio and based on it i am resizing image and canvas both.
    Now i have requirement that I dont want to change height and width of image and canvas control, instead image should be scalled to fit in canvas.
    I know image have scaleX, scaleY and scalecontent property.
    Can anybody guide me how to calculate scaleX and scaley so image fits in image control?

  • How to fit image inside canvas Container?

    Hi All,
    I want to fit an image inside a canvas.
    Making x and y to 0 of image is not working.
    My problem is I am rotating image at 90 and I want to save that image. If i save normally it is not taking rotation.
    So I am adding that image in a canvas and saving that canvas with rotated image.
    Somehow some portion of canvas still remains empty after adding image to it.
    Any idea how to perfectly fit image inside canvas?
    Or How to rotate image bitmap data with maintainig aspect ratio?
    Thank in advance

    Mx component don't handle rotation very well.  Spark Group should handle it
    better.
    You may need to set the y to the height of the rotated image (its original
    width).
