How to force HTTP:ORMI Tunnelling from JDEV?

Hi,
I deployed successfully ADF BC as EJB on OC4J and I have tested them using BC4J tester of JDEV.
I setup a SWING ADF small grid and want to force the HTTP tunneling...
How can I do that??

There is no automated migration of jbo data tags to the new binding architecture.

How to force HTTPS on a page

We have registration forms and other pages that collect personal details from users who are registering for the site or submitting other transactions (other than shopping cart purchases). By default these pages are delivered using HTTP under the main website.
We need these pages to be secured using HTTPS. How can we force HTTPS on these pages?

I use response->set_status( code = 500 reason = 'Error') from OnInputProcessing event, but nothing happens...

Thank you for the references, but unfortunately it still does not work for me.
Here's what I do in my BSP:
- The BSP displays a simple Form in which some user data
can be entered.
- In the OnInputProcessing event handler of this BSP the
data is analyzed. If there is an error, the following
code is executed:
if l_error eq 'X'.
    data:
      res type ref to if_http_response.
    res = runtime->server->response.
    res->set_status( code   = 500
                     reason = 'Internal error' ).
endif.
- I would expect the Browser to display the error page,
however I simply get the BSP Form again - the HTTP
error is not shown at all.
What am I doing wrong?

How to call "https" web service from Oracle without certification.

The reuirement is to call a secured web service (*https web service*) from Oracle9i without involving any additional cost.
Initialy I tried with UTL_HTTP package but in vain as it is needed some certification. As per the requirement no additional cost should be involved with the implementation.
So is there any way to achieve the above mentioned problem?
Please let me know the responses with the sample code/steps.

How to create HTTP 301 redirect from UCM 7.5.2

Is it possible to send a HTTP response with a permanent redirect from a UCM/Stellent website? We're using version 7.5.2 with iDoc script.
We can use the iDoc function setHttpHeader() to send the Location HTTP header, but how to send the HTTP response code 301, to signal the permanent redirect to the browser?

If you are using IIS there is a config variable that allows you do this. First create a virtual directory in IIS point to <install dir>\Inetpub\wwwroot directory.
and then do the below steps
a.     Login to Content Server
b.     Click on Administration Admin Server
c.     Click on Content Server instance name(button)
d.     Click on General Configuration
e.     Update SSWebFilterIgnoreList configuration variable
f.     SSWebFilterIgnoreList=virtualDirectory There should not be any spaces
g.     Click on save
h.     Restart Content Server

How to force sync Safari Bookmarks from my laptop to the iPhone?

I have "cleansed" and rearranged my Safari Bookmarks on my laptop and would like to have the same structure and set of bookmarks on my iPhone, but syncing apparently does not change the bookmarks on the iPhone.??? I am puzzled. What do I do wrong?
How can I delete all bookmarks on the iPhone and force a synchronisation with the laptop? (In System Preferences>Mobile Me the Safari Bookmarks are checked).

Thanks a lot for your instant response. I am now in iTunes>Info>Advanced, but there the only options after Replace Info on the iPhone is Mail Accounts and that is greyed out. The Web Browser heading above the Advanced heading says: Your bookmarks are being synced with iPhone over the air from MobileMe. Over the air syncing settings can be changed on your iPhone.
But on the iPhone I don't find where to change these settings. Any suggestions?

How to know Http Session Id from Application Module ?

Our app has requirement to maintain state across many root AM, by storing it in DB on UserId+HttpSessionId.
(or is there any other way to do this ? )
So in prepareSession in each root AM I need to query to DB by UserId+HttpSessionId then store the result in transient VO.
The question is : how to get to know the HttpSessionId from within AM ?

Yes we use JAAS, and we have used getUserPrincipalName() .
But, we not only need username, that is not enough, because one user can log-in from different machine concurently, that is the requirement.
That is why we need the HttpSessionId.
During log-in user "right after" autenticated user will choose some values from drop-list below the login Form, it is those values that we have to maintain in session scope until he/she logout. And the "same user" may log-in from another machine and choose another values.
That is why we need to either :
- store those values within HttpSession and access it from AM
or
- store those values in DB with key = user+HttpSessionId, and query it from AM.prepareSession() -> this is why I need to pass HttpSessionId to am.prepareSession()

I generated a stub ( jar file) to call a weblogic webservice from a client, both in weblogic workshop 8.1.4 and weblogic workshop 10.3.
It seems that both jars use HTTP 1.0 protocol; I can see the HTTP 1.0 requests from access log file.
I would like to use HTTP 1.1 protocol : can I set some property ? Which property ? Can you help me ?

Is forcing Http tunneling mode possible ?

in order to make some tests between 2 PC on the same intranet, I would like to know if it's possible to force RMI to use http tunneling, and to choose the mode : http-to-port or http-to-cgi ?

RMI depends on custom socket factories (sun.rmi.transport.proxy.RMIHttpToPortSocketFactory, sun.rmi.transport.proxy.RMIHttpToCGISocketFactory) for carrying out the HTTP tunneling of RMI request if normal way of establishing a connection with the remote object fails. If no particular RMI socket factory is set in RMI application, RMI runtime chooses the RMIMasterSocketFactory() for creating client and server sockets. This socket factory maintains a list of socket factories which should be tried in order in establishing a successful connection with the remote object. This list includes RMIDirectSocketFacotry and HTTP tunneling socket factories mentioned above if http.proxyHost proerty is set.
You can force HTTP tunneling by explicitly setting default socket factory (RMISocketFactory.setSocketFactory(...)) to sun.rmi.transport.proxy.RMIHttpToPortSocketFactory in the client application. If this fails you can try setting default socket factory to RMIHttpToCGISocketFactory. It may not be possible trying these two options in the same instance of the program, because setSocketFactory() does not allow you to change the already defined default factory to the new one. This may not be elegant solution.

Just installed a new HD on my MBP. I inserted the leopard DVD and it was spinning for about 2 minutes and then nothing happned. Just black screen. Now I tried starting holding the C key down. Nothing. I tried starting holding the eject button down, no eject of the DVD. I tried holding the button below the tracklpad down, no eject of the DVD.

What am I doing wrong?

A) start my computer as it just goes to a grey screen

Boot single user -- hold down "cmd-S" immediately after you turn the computer on.
"diskutil list" will give you a list of your disks. My CD drive was disk1.
"diskutil eject disk" should eject the target disk.

How to see http response from an axis web service call (Eclipse)

I would like to see the raw http response which is returned from web service calls. I have a dynamic web project in Eclipse which uses a local instance of Tomcat 6. I'm using all of the default setting for a top-down web service generated from a WSDL file. I've generated the client using the built-in "generate client" using default settings.
I've tried using the Eclipse plugin TCP/IP monitor and apache's TCPMON, but I am only able to see the http request, not the http response returned from the web server I am querying.
I've seen some sparse documentation outlining how to use logging handlers and a client-config.wsdd file, but I haven't been able to get that working.
So to recap, I'm looking for a way to view raw http responses using a web service client and server generated from a WSDL file in eclipse. I don't mind creating a new project using different code-generating libraries if someone has an easy way to do this using a different configuration.
