How to get a button open in window?

i have been trying to develop a new website for about a
little more than a week..but as im still i beginner it goes very
slowly forwards..I have now managed to finish both a banner and a
menu with all the required buttons in it..
but here i got stuck again..
this is how the page looks like right now - a banner on the
top and a menu to the left, and an empty space to the right of the
menu

what i wan't is that when you click one of the buttons the
page they are linked to should open in that empty space (which
probably should be filled with an object of some kind..haven't
found out what...)
i have seen this be done on a lot of different pages..but how
can i make it?

If in flash
use create empty movieclip and place it in top right corner
of empty area
name it "loader"
then on button use this script
on(press)
loader.loadMovie("path of swf");
path to swf // this will be a swf file containing ur stuff
if html use frames

and you need to clarify your terms. a new window means a new
browser window. if you want to load your swf in the current window,
load it into a target movieclip or _level.

The red, green and yellow buttons in the upper left corner of the screen disappear whenever I open Safari. I cannot minimize the Safari window which I often need to do if I am coordinating multiple windows. Does anyone know how to get those buttons back

The pdf is loading as html code. If you save it, it will download as :
605124.pdf.html
Change the extension to .pdf
And it opens and works perfectly, I just tested it:

At this time that feature is not available. If you are trying to view Javadoc and Code at the same time you can try a split pane view that places both documents side-by-side.

   I want to get the details from popup window.
      i have three input fields and one search button in my main window. when i click search button it should display popup window.whenever i click on selected row of the popup window table ,values should be visible in my main window input fields.(normal tables)
   now i am able to display popup window with values.How to get the values from popup window now.

Hi Kranthi,
Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

I admit, I don't know of any fix that simply shows you on the screen, but there is an auditory warning that you can implement if that would be of help to you. Can't get Finder to open a window

I can't get Finder to open a window when I click it in the dock when there are no windows already open. Applications will launch from the dock and I can open a window by double-clicking the hard drive icon on the desktop.
I also cannot get a window to open using CMD+N or by selecting "New Folder" from the File menu in Finder, only by double-clicking icons for the hard drive or folders.
I tried trashing the preferences for both finder and the dock but still the same problem.
