How to get Asset Id in FA Account Generator

Hi all,
I've defined a DFF on Asset which I use for a segment in account generator. I looked at FA Account generator attributes, I did not find any attributes for fetching Asset Id.
Please let me know if it can be done.

you can use the DISTRIBUTION_ID attribute to get the ASSET_ID value in the account generator code that you create
For e.g. v_disid := apps.wf_engine.getitemattrnumber( itemtype => itemtype
,itemkey => itemkey
,aname => 'DISTRIBUTION_ID'); and use this
select asset_id
into v_astid
from fa_distribution_history
where distribution_id = v_disid

How to get rid of the "Guest" account that 10.7.2 installes unasked ?

I wondered why I see a "Guest" Account on my login screen this morning - as I didn't use that.
So I went to system preferences to delete it - but I see that I can't delete - the minus Button is greyed out for that "Guest" Account.
I don't need a "Guest" Account as there's no one but me to use my mac.
So tell me please how I get this deleted from my Accountlist.

Ok, that makes it clear - but not helpfull.
1) Why is this account named "Guest" instead of "Find my Mac" ?
A "Find my Mac" account in Preferences/Users would make clear what it is for.
2) Why is this Account shown on my login screen ?
I understand that "Find my Ma" is more a "hidden" feature. So it should use a "hidden" account that isn't shown to the public on the login screen.
Solutions would be:
- Rename that Account from "Guest" to "Find my Mac"
- Don't display this account on the login screen and in the Account switcher - just show it in Preferences/User

How to get keychain to automatically ask to generate passwords

I Two MacBook Pros,
when I setup a password on my computer safiri automatically opens Keychain and it asks if I want to gererate a password, and offers to save it.
Keychain is turned on.
On My wifes computer when I go to setup a password, keychain dosen't start up and dosent offer to generate a password.
Keychain is turned on, on this computer also.
we both are current with Maverick 10.9.2
anybody know how to make her computer automatically ask to generate passwords etc?

Safari isn't automatically filling in account names and passwords on some web sites.
Devices using iOS 7.0.3 or later:
Go to Settings> Safari > Passwords & AutoFill and make sure that these two settings are turned on:
Names and Passwords
Always Allow
Return to your Home screen and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, Private Browsing is turned on. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is turned on. To turn off Private Browsing:
On iPad, tap the the plus + symbol in the upper-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.

How to Get XML from the PDF form generated using Designer that is stored in LC

We have a Requirement of Generating reports on what a PDF form is comprised of? It is easy for us to scan / parse the XML format of the PDF form and get all the relavent Info we need. We are able to see the XML format of the PDF form when we open up the Form in Designer.
But we are trying to run this report in a Batch Mode for many PDF files. I need to know how to get a XML format of the PDF file that is stored in LC that was developed using Designer. Once we are able to get the XML of the PDF form it is just a scan / parse to get the relavent data.
Can some one tell me how to get the XML format of a PDF file stored in the LC?

If I place the PDF form on the LC server - Can you let me know of the tools you are referring to get XML design from the PDF form?
Is it through a Process Orchestration I need to run the PDF through to get a XML design out of it?
I am fine in storing the PDF in the LC server? How will I get the XML design (XML) from this PDF on the server?

How to get rid of a mail account?

I had two .mac accounts and wanted to get rid of one and just use the other one. So I deleted everything in my Mail/Preferences so the only e-mail address is the one that I currentely would like to use.
Now, when I look in:
User/Library/Mail
Folder I find that the deleted account still has a folder. Better yet my iphone is still trying to sync with my current .mac and the old one. I even deleted all the contents of that mail folder and every time I restart Mail the unwanted account recreates its folder.
How do I get rid of this account permanately?

My account (the one that I want to keep) is the only one listed, there is no info whatsoever about the account I attempted to delete (which I assume should be a good thing). There is no remenence of the one that I deleted other than in that one Mail folder.

How to get rid of an old account?

How do I get rid of an old itunes account, it pops up when using my ipad or iphone but not when using itunes on the computer. I have checked my account id on my computer and it has the current, right account. What do I need to do? Also one other question....how do I delete songs or albums? I have right clicked on them in the music library and then delete, then delete again, and I have deleted from my trash can but they keep popping up ready to download again. Sorry for so many questions.

Sign out of that account on your ipad/iphone and sgn into the right one.
This is covered in the settings section of the manual.
Any apps purchased using the old account will always be tied to that account and will always hve to be updated using that account.

How to get messages from closed IMAP account from local cache

I have an IMAP account which is closed, so I cannot connect to it anymore. I've got all the messages on my computer since I chose the option "Keep copies of messages for offline viewing" in account settings.
Is there an easy way to convert the cached version on my computer to my new IMAP account?
I've tried just dragging the to the folder where the local mbox files are kept, but it fails. Looking at the info.plist files in each folder I found the following xml nodes where present in the IMAP ones <key>UIDNEXT</key> and <key>UIDVALIDITY</key> and that deleting them from the info.plist made it possible for me to just drag the mbox file to the local folder. Editing all the info.plist files seems like at huge task and I'm not sure what implications just deleting them might have? Can anybody shed some light on this please?

I'm pretty new to mac. I've set up accounts for me and my wife. We both have administartive privileges. My itunes was transferred from my old pc to my wifes account on my new imac. How do I get music library (theres no music on my account onto my account) as well? As I said, we both have administrative privilege. On my old pc, it would just show up on either of our accounts

How to get Mail to recognise correct account?

I changed ISPs about 3 months ago and got a new email address.
I keep both my old and new accounts as I still have mail being forwarded from the old account.
In Mail > Preferences> Accounts I have the current account above the older one and everything seems set up correctly. It is also correct in my Network settings and my Address Book.
However whenever I send an email it defaults to the old address as the sendee.
How can I fix this and what is the logic behind Mail's behaviour which has always had me puzzled?

You mean the new one is imap, right? smtp is for sending mail, pop and imap for receiving. Both pop and imap style accounts use smtp for sending.
OK so, you are correct, you don't want to delete the old pop mail account because you will lose all your old email.
However, have you tried deleting just the old smtp server information from Preferences | Accounts | {old account} | Account Information | Outgoing Mail Server pulldown menu | Edit Server List? If the outgoing mail server information no longer exists on your computer, then you shouldn't be able to send mail through that server. Then just specify the new account's smtp server for outgoing mail for the old account. (However, be advised that you should specify your new email address in the old account, which you probably want to do anyways, and differentiate between the two accounts by the "Description" fields in each account's Account Information panel. OR, specify "None" for the outgoing server. (That may have the undesirable effect of messages hanging out in your oubox, though).
As an unrelated side note, I know you can do this with imap accounts, and that is to drag messages from one imap account's inbox to another imap account's inbox. But I don't have any pop accounts so don't know if you can do a drag and drop from the pop messages stored locally on your computer into an imap inbox, where the messages are stored on a remote server (and optionally, off-line copies maintained locally on your computer. But, like I said, remote imap to another remote imap? No problem. Maybe you could give that a try with an old popmail message or two, that you could afford to lose, and see what happens...
To answer your Windows comparison question, I've not ever experienced these kinds of Mail problems on my Mac.

I would like to know how to get refunded when my iTunes account was accessed from an unusual device.

How to get "Synchronize with database" to compare/generate changes for database 'contexts'?

Using SDDM 3.3.
How does one get to synchronise changes/differences in 'contexts' (defined in physical model - Oracle DB)?
I have tried to synchronize both ways, i.e. model to db and db to model, but never does it show the DDL necessary to create the missing context.
Yes, Context is selected/ticked under preferences for Oracle DB synchronization preferences.

If I use the "generate DDL" option from the toolbar, it does generate DDL for the context I have in the physical model. I can select/deselect them in the DDL Generation Options window.
Why then would it not generate DDL when comparing the model with the database, i.e. using the "synchronise data dictionary to model" option? It successfully generates a 'patch'/change script for tables, views, packages, etc.?

How to get custom file name in manually generated SSRS report

I am creating a SSRS report which would be executed by User manually through ReportServer URL.User would be generating the SSRS report for different Customer ID based on ad-hoc basis.
I am passing CustomerID as input parameter to the report. Is there any way to get the manually generated SSRS report name as 'Report_CustomerID_TodayDate.xls'. Please let me know.
E.g.If User is generating report for Customer ID 123 today then report name should be 'Report_123_07092013.xls'
