How to get current locale / language

Hi,
I am trying to change the default startup settings for a CDE session, and I need to edit the file
/usr/dt/config/lang/sys.session
There are two possibilities:
/usr/dt/config/C/sys.session
or
/usr/dt/config/en_US.UTF-8/sys.session
How can I find out what is my current locale so that I can edit the correct file?
Also, I am troubleshooting the problem from a remote VNC connection (su to user and start vncserver). Will the locale from the VNC connection differ from the local X session?

The default locale is normally set in /etc/default/init , but you can normally view them by running the "locale" command, or simply by checking your environment using the "env" command.

How to get current local file system volume sizes information from OMS?

I know I can get this information from the table SYSMAN.MGMT$STORAGE_REPORT_LOCALFS.
But info stored in this table is not always up to date, but when going to the page em/console/monitoring/hostFilesystemOverview$target=xxxhostnamexxx$type=host$pageType=current$ctxType=Hosts the information is current.
I have accessed mentioned table in apex, from outside OMS, I would like to have current information instead of old.
How to do that?

I think that there is nothing wrong with this table, just that the data is not collected every 5 minutes or so, only on a daily basis.
But as ca107207 said - when you go to the page, showing information about the files system, from the host home page - the data is up to date to the current second.
Therefore I think that OMS ask agent to send this value, but it is then not stored anywhere.
My question would be how to ask agent from outside OMS to get this information?
I have done a little reverse engineering on OMS packages and there should be a way to get this, using some procedures, pl/sql code with generating some cursors etc.
I'm not that good in pl/sql to create something like that, it would take too much time for me. I think that it can't be done without OMS at all, I just have another database with apex on the same host and apex display some information for other users about the file systems etc. It would be nice to have information about file system usage current.

Only way I can think of is to use the rowset controller from the InProc RAS SDK. Here is a snippet of a sample code on how to:

I know how to get current IUser from com.sap.security.api package:

but I need to have IUser from com.sapportals.portal.security.usermanagement package.

Get the IUser uisng the API com.sap.security.api.IUser and store it in a variable, say <i>sapUser</i>.

Please correct me if I understood wrong.
You want to know whether an instance is assigned or not and if assigned then you want to fetch the assigned participant id.
If this is your requirement then please find the code below and make the necessary changes into it.
Write the following code in screen flow automatic activity but before that you need to pass the instanceid as argument to the screen flow.
In the process as well as screen flow layer make an instance variable instanceid as Int.
Then make an argument variable instanceidArg as Int in both the screenflow and process layer and map accordingly so that it will take the instanceid from process layer to the screen flow layer.
Assign instanceid = id.number; in process layer automatic activity but before the global interactive activity where you have maped the screen flow.
Write the following code in screen flow automatic activity.

Hi Dinesh,
You must also make sure you have initialised the app.
If you run this from sqlplus then it will return -1.
If however you run this from within a concurrent program then the user id will be returned.
Try using this from sqlplus fnd_global.apps_initialize
Eg.
begin
dbms_output.put_line(fnd_global.user_id);
fnd_global.apps_initialize(user_id => 3551,
resp_id => 1,
resp_appl_id => 1);
dbms_output.put_line(fnd_global.user_id);

There is a method in the System class that will return the current system time. You could also instantiate a Date, Time, Timestamp, or Calendar object, all of which get created with the system time by default.
Don't import *. Import the specific classes you need.
Next time, post the actual text of the exceptions/compile errors. If you make people guess, most just won't bother.
