How to get multiple reports on sreen at once

we have the oracle base environment and using dev2k for screens, reports and graphs etc. i have to face the common objection from our users that they can get multiple reports on screen at once in earlier application built in foxpro but in oracle they can not.
basically reports background engine makes queue for reports and execute one report at a time. i know there is a function 'open_object' or 'open_report' but in that option no facility to pass multiple parameters to the reprot and we have almost all reports those required multiple parameters passed through forms/screen to set the criterea for the reports.
can anyone help me in this regard that how can i view more then one report at a time and sending different parameters at the same time.

I'm trying to display multiple reports at the same time, each one in separates tabs or windows using Forms 11g 11.1.1.6
I have a button which has a call to a procedure which makes use of rp2rro library to show the specific reports, for example:
call_report('report1');
call_report('report2');
call_report('report3');
call_report('report4');
The main problem is that, just the last report is been displayed.
Is there some way to display report1, report2 etc in separate tabs or windows ??

You shouldn't have a problem calling different reports at once. As long as you're using Forms 11g they show up in different windows.
The question is how you are calling the report.
Here is how I manipulate it.
After I pass parameters with the ADD_PARAMETER built-in I set some key values (destype, desformat, desname) with the RP2RRO's procedures.
Finally calling RP2RRO.RP2RRO_RUN_PRODUCT and then WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT passing the correct procedure parameters the report comes up in a window. If you repeat the above changing the appropriate variables (the report_name in the RP2RRO_RUN_PRODUCT and so on) you can get multiple reports in different windows.

I created Proxy service(ALSB3.0) to get records from DB table. I have used Xquery function(fn-bea:execute-sql()). Using simple SQL query I got single record, but my table having multiple records. Please suggest how to get multiple records using fn-bea:execute-sql() and how to assign them in ALSB variable.

Am facing the same issue stated above that I couldnt get all the records in the table that am querying in the Proxyservice.
For example:
fn-bea:execute-sql('EsbDataSource', 'student', 'select Name from StudentList' ) is the query that am using to fetch the records from the table called StudentList which contains more than one records like
Id Name
01 XXX
02 YYY
03 ZZZ
I tried to assign the result of the above query in a variable and while trying to log the variable, I can see the below
<student>
<Name>XXX</Name>
</student>
I want to have all the records from my table in xml format but it's not coming up. I get the value only from the first row of my table.
Please suggest.

MDM can track changes on tables and fields. <u>The level of change tracking, and which tables/fields to track, are configurable in the MDM Console</u>. MDM opens a new database on the same database engine as the MDM repository and writes all change records to this database.

How to get refreshed report

Dear Friends,
I have attached my report in my .aspx file.
I am passing the condition through myCrystalReportViewer.SelectionFormula
It was showing all record's reports those are tested in CR2008.
But as soon as we have entered a new record through our web form, it is not displaying the report.
I have added "myCrystalReportViewer.RefreshReport()".
Then also it is not displaying the report for the new record entered, where as the previous records are running fine.
Can any one please tell what code should I add or steps in CR2008 to get this report after entering any record.

Checked the Links between Sub Report and Main Report
Now on calling the report from my web form only a blank page with TextObject's text is coming.
I Could not understand that why this is happening or what is the concept behind linking a report from Web forms.

hi,
i have a successful request(with all the required data) in the cube (manage screen) but i could n't get the reporting icon next to request id in the cube manage screen how to get ithe reporting icon.

This might be because of issue -- data is not ready to view in the Query level. So that it happened.
Go to the 'Manage' in the InfoCube level and verify the last updated request are ready to report.
The possible causes may be
1. If the previous request may be an error in Cube level, the other requests will not be ready to report.
2. If there is Aggregate is maintaining in the Cube level, you should perform rollup to fill aggregates and made the requests available to report.

I do not think that you can get this value from anywhere. A solution is to put the Reports server name in an environment variable stored in the /forms/server/default.env file, then to query it at Forms runtime with the TOOL_ENV.Getvar() built-in.

Im trying to make a postersize picture collage and I don't know how to get multiple pictues arranged. Someone said I can use the layer option. But Im just not getting it. Please help!

Click File >> Open and select all of your photos
That will add them to the project bin
Then select File >> New >> Blank File
Select background color White (or whatever you prefer) and add your width and height for your final image (set resolution 72 for web usage or 240 to 300 for printing) then click OK
In the project bin click your first photo and drag it up into the main window on top of your new background.
Click on the move tool and click in the center of the photo and drag to arrange it where you want on the background - you can hold down the shift key to maintain original proportions whilst dragging the corner handles of the bounding box to get the size you want.
Do the same with the next photo (drag it up into the main window) and use the move tool to position it. Then continue with each image.
Finally Click Layer >>Flatten image and save as jpeg. (Save as PSD if you want to preserve the layers for editing again)
N.B. as you add images they get dropped in the center. So you need to use the move tool to drag them apart. Click in the middle of one and move it around, and then the others until you get them positioned as you want.
When you click again with the move tool a bounding box appears around the image and you can drag out the corner handles to re-size your photos. Hold down the shift key when dragging the corner handle and that will maintain the proportions of the original.
Finally click Layer >>Flatten Image and save your collage - you may then want to use the crop tool to cut away any surplus white canvas, and then re-save. Click the T tool to add text.
