How to get save button for saving the layout in OO ALV

Hi all,
When I execute my report an OO ALV, I want to save the layout and make it default.Please tell me how to do it.
I am using the below code.
*Call ALV
CALL METHOD c_alvgd->set_table_for_first_display
 EXPORTING
 is_layout = gd_layout
 i_save = 'X'
 CHANGING
 it_outtab = it_ekko
 it_fieldcatalog = it_fieldcat
 EXCEPTIONS
 invalid_parameter_combination = 1
 program_error = 2
 too_many_lines = 3
 OTHERS = 4.
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
 MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
 WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
ENDIF.
even after passing i_save eq 'X', it is not showing save option in the layout.
please help.

You need to pass the call back program name also.
CLEAR wa_variant.
MOVE sy-repid TO wa_variant-report.
CALL METHOD wcl_alvgrid1->set_table_for_first_display
EXPORTING
    I_BUFFER_ACTIVE               = space
    I_BYPASSING_BUFFER            = c_x
*    I_CONSISTENCY_CHECK           =

has to be character field of say length 15.
2. Write the original numeric value to
this character field (in a loop)
3. But simply writing won't help.
4. use this kind of logic.
5.

WRITE m TO chr.
IF m < 0.
SHIFT chr RIGHT BY 1 PLACES.
CONDENSE chr.

Hi Chandu,
The settings to Configure the Save function.
Right click the Button Group Item ® Properties ® * Button ®
Type Caption Save ® Command ® Select All Commands Tab ®
De-select Execute Planning Function and then select checkbox Save
Changed Data ® Double click on Save Changed Data ® OK ® OK ® Save your template.

FPM Application how to get SAVE buttons action

I have creted an application with the FPM, and in the portal after generating the application, i get a big table with Picture and data of the employee (name. PERNR, ORGUnit, MANAGER....) and some subtables that i have created also are there,
my question is, there is a save button over those subtables, and i need to know which action or methode generate this (SAVE) button?
i will be very happy about any kind of help

Do you want to how handle the SAVE event? if this is your requirement then in the Process_Event method of the component controller, you can check for the event id BTN_SAVE and write your logic
case io_event->mv_event_id.
when 'BTN_SAVE'.

How to get save button's state in TestStand 3.5?

Hello,
I should implement a call in TestStand 3.5 which would check something in the sequence file when the user wants to save his sequence.
Is that possible to call a callback sequence when the user saves his sequence? Is there an action which will be called when the user pushes the save button?

Hi Peter,
there´s no callback in sequence editor you can do this. But when you use an operatorinterface or userinterface e.g. Labview you can look in code and see the ConnectCommand method where you connected button from sequence editor to user interface - and so you can programm your own code around your button in labview before execute these connection to sequence editors buttons...

How to validate plan data before saving the data

I have a total row in my planning layout which is a summation of plan data in 2 other rows. While saving the data, I should check whether the total is 200 and if not the data should not be saved. How can I achieve this! Any help would be appreciated.

I'm also facing the same problem in my development...I tried above all the ways,but we cannot stop saving the wrong data.In this case you have to write the java script for save button, before saving the data if it is correct then go for the next step to save other wise throw an error message or without save the data .
You need to write the JAVA script for save button,in this code you need to read the data form the layout and check the total value, i am not sure if layout is dynamic how we can achieve this???.
My development also stopped for this issue,In my case i have two layouts ,one is for actual and another one is for Planing layout(Function - Distribution equally),using the fox code i succeed to read and throw an error message for incorrect data but i can not stop to saving for incorrect total data.
Once you solved this problem please post the message in SDN.This type of requirements is very tough and we need to share to our friends.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Hello Brando,
With FB70 I recommend you implement the user-exit via the Business Add-In (BADI) way and avoid SMOD exits if possible.
The list below are the BADIs that are called by the ECC6.0 system after you click the Save button to post a document. They are listed in the order which they are called before the actual post. You'll have to find the right one as per your requirement - you can view their definition via transaction SE18 then after you find the right one you need to use that definition to create an implementation via SE19. Here again, you'll have to choose the right method that suits your requirement. You'll find the method and class documentation in some cases with examples on how to implement, you need to write the code between the Method..EndMethod statement using the parameters provided by the Method.

Is your formula attached to basic salary element or some other element? You need to make sure that basic salary element has some value and is processed before this formula is called. Are you able to see value for basic salary element after payroll run?
