How to get '%' Sign in a column

Hi,
I'm trying to calculate Percentage and would like to see it's sign (%) in front of the result...
Can anybody help me with sort of Column settings?

It's a correct reply if i hv column added into my repositoy.
But what if am calculating the column as "New Calculated Item" and adding it in Pivot as another column? will this work?
Coz there is no format function for it.

The data in the db will be change ,
but each record I want to delete in table control , it's still exist in database .

How to fix my code and let it can change and delete data in database ?
or
when I delete record in table control I must to delete data in the database too .

I have a class file that goes out and gets a viewobject and sets its where clause
this is it:

what way do you do this and where is it documented? What you can do is get the value from your VO and set it somewhere that UIX can data bind to -- as a Page proprety, on HttpSession, etc. This is documented in Chapters 4 (Data Binding) and 5 (Controller) of the UIX Developer's Guide.
To set a property, you use Page.setProperty(String key, String value). Then, in your UIX file, to make a textInput that has the value pulled from a given page property, use:

You can fill selected values of the table by writing to it or the corresponding property using a property node - the table is just a 2D array of strings. I think for your "disable" question you are referring to the shortcut menu (when you right click). If you are using LabVIEW 8.x, you can edit or disable that shortcut menu - just right click on your table at edit time and choose Advanced >> Run-Time Shortcut Menu.

hi everyone..
i am trying to establish a servlet applet communication....
my applet send the sql query to the servlet as serialised string and then the servlet executes the query...
Since i need to pass the result back to the applet, i thaught of passing the whole reult set to the applet..but that seems to be not possible..
so i thaught of storing my result set data in a vector and then pass the vector,but the first problem that i came across is that how to get the number of colums in a result set....
so is there a way to get the number of columns in a result set...???
and also i would like to know if it possible to send my whole result set to the applet bye serialization or by any method...???

You shouldn't do. It expenses resources (you should always close the ResultSet and the Statement as fast as possible). Simply gently process it into a Collection or Map of DTO's. Those are serializable.

A difficult one, how do i know which column (and row would also be nice) of a JTable is selected?
e.g.
I have a JButton which is called "Edit" when i select a cell in the JTable and click the button "Edit" a new window must be visible as a form where the user can edit the a part of a row.
Then the column which was selected in the JTable must be given (so i need to know current column) and then i want the TextField (the one needed to be edited) be active with requestFocus(). So it would be
pricetextfield.requestFocus();
Problem now is that i have to click every time in the window the JTextField which was selected in the JTable. I have chosen for this way of editing because my application is multi-user and it would be too difficult for me when everybody did editing directly (catch signals, reload data, etc.).
My question is how do I know the current column and the current row in a JTable?

I know I can get that without the separators with a cursor expression:

How to get Average of a column in UNION query

I will try to explain the issue as much as I can and If you need clarification on any piece please let me know.
So, I have a Union Query with two sets of Criteria.
The first Criteria Brings the list of Buildings and a set of Measures for it. The second criteria does the same but with a different set of filters.
No I use a UNION between these both criteria and present them in a Pivot view so that we only have one row per each building. The values in each of the criteria in the UNION query are Summed
Ex:

So as I show in the pivot the result is
Building
Metric 1
Metric 2

Now the issue is with the Grand Total.
I want the Grand Total to be an Average of the Buildings. So for Metric 1 The Grand Total should be (45+85)/2 because we have two buildings so the answer should be 65.
How can I get that.
Bottom Line: Need an Average as the Grand Total when the Aggregation rule on the column is set to Sum.

What you are asking is impossible in the pivot table itself as you are asking one part of the pivot table to aggregate via one method, and another to aggregate via another method, on the same column ..
It can be done using a calculated item. For your example above you'd use the formula ( $1 + $2) / 2.
.. But thats HIGHLY explicit, and would only work if you KNOW how many buildings will come back in the query.. EVERYTIME.
Why not restructure the query to combine it into a single query using an combinations of filters with OR in between?

I have to add a custom-column(folder-imageURL) for Folders in a Document Library.
So I have created a Custom-CotentType "FolderCtype" with new column "folder-imageURL" and attached in the Document Library.
Whenever I create a new folder in that document library I will select my "FolderCtype" & and then add an image url in "folder-imageURL" column.
How do I access this image url in Code?
part of my code is as follows.

firstly i apologize because i'm most certainly using the wrong terms here. My problem is that i have the query below that contains a dimension that has always two values (MONTH VALIDATION) as shown on the query and image below:

How to get the value of column from previous row to current row?

I am facing a critical problem in SQL query (for reporting purpose (COGNOS)). please reply to my query.
REQUIREMENT: i want to retrive value of a column (this is not a table column, this will be calculated based expression) from previous row to current row.
EXAMPLE:
TABLE NAME: i have to join multiple tables. so, i am not mentioning table names here.
DISPLAY COLUMNS in the report: item, loc, sku, beginval (not table column), endval (not table column, this will calculated based on some expressions), etc. Here, first time the value of BEGINVAL will be taken from some x column name of x table. ENDVAL will calculated based on the expression. For the next row onwards, BEGINVAL will become the value of ENDVAL and the value of ENDVAL will be calculated based on the expression and this expression uses the value of BEGINVAL.
my report will look like below.
ITEM LOC SKU BEGINVAL ENDVAL
1 HYD 1-HYD 10 10+1+2 (13)
2 HYD 2-HYD 13 13+1+2 (16)
3 SEC 3-SEC 16 16+1+2 (19)

in the above output, BEGINVAL and ENDVAL columns are not part of any table. they are alias column names.if you observe intially BEGINVAL will be assigned to some value, but from subsequent rows, BEGINVAL will become the ENDVAL of previous row.
Please help me on how to write this query?

problem description: in the above query, BeginBal and EndBal is what i am looking for. when i execute this query, oracle throwing an error saying that alias names can't be used as expressions. For the first row, the BeginBal should be the value sku.OH and for the subsequent rows, this value will be the previous row value of EndBal.
