How to get the date n time for log in ODI

Hi,
I wanna ask, what is the syntax for getting the date n time when i specify the location of log for Interface. Thanks.

I quite do not get what you are trying to achieve here.
- In a mapping, use the DBMS engine sysdate command.
- In a variable, you can refresh the variable value using a "select sysdate from dual" type of query.
- You can also use the appropriate odiref substitution method to get a date. For example:
Current year is: :<%=odiRef.getSysDate("y")%>

How to get the date and Time?

Hi,
I am using Jdev 11.1.2.0.
I had one database table. In that table one variable as bgnDtm and the datatype as oracle.jbo.domain.Timestamp. In my Impl class I declare one variable as beginDate(DateType as oracle.jbo.domain.Date).
Now I am using the conversion as beginDate=(Date) SampleVO.getAttribute("bgnDtm ");.If I using this scenario I got the Type cast error. so how can I separate Date and Time value.
So how to do. Please provide some suggestions.

you can get the time value either from oracle.jbo.domain.Timestamp or from oracle.jbo.domain.Date

How to get the date and time of the last KM scheduled run

Hi Experts,
I had a scenario where i need to send the last date and last time when the KM schduler runned.?
Issue:
I have created a Km sheduler, in that i have written the jave code to retrieve the details from a function module and getting the output from Func module and sending an email to one administrator.It worked fine for me.this scheduler will run for every 20 mins.
But now Abapers have included two import parameters in their Function module " Last date and last run".So i need to populate this iimport parameters dynamically.
How can i acheive this?

Parameter name    = hipara

These 2 records should be in internal table and then i will be passing to database table...

I didn't get ur requirement..
As per my understanding, upload the XML file into an internal table and then loop over the internal table and get the values for ptype and pname..

How to get the dates a user has logged into the portal??

I need to know all the times and the dates a user has loggin to the portal? Do you know any way to do this? I was trying to use "successfullogoncount" from UME_STRING of the PCD database but it doesn't say anything about the dates. I also try to use "lastsuccessfulllogon" from the sama table but, as the name says, it just give me the last date of logon... Please help!!!

probably you could work with Portal activity reports.
This can generate reports on activity in the portal, either reports on how many users were logged on to the portal or reports on the most popular pages and iViews.

From this you can know which user has logged on at which date and time.
If you are not looking for Portal activity reports try this:
You can get this information in the Visual Administrator of the J2EE Engine.
Goto Security Provider Service -> Runtime -> Login (Sessions).
This would return a table showing the users along with the logging in start date&time, (if logged out) log out date&time, user-Ids, etc.

How to get the last modified time for directory?

Hi,
I have to accomplish this.
A folder c:\myfolder can literally contain anything files.. sub directories, fiels in sub directories.
I have a thread monitoring c:\myfolder, basically people can dump files in any order into that directory and I have to trigger something when there is no activity on c:\myfolder for 10 secs.
I tried lastModified() with File("c:\myfolder") but that seems to be working only if there is some change on root level of c:\myfolder, for eg if I have a sub folder c:\myfolder\subfolder and I copy some file into c:\myfolder\subfolder, then the lastModified() doesnt seem to be updatiing on the mail folder "c:\myfolder"
Is there a way I can handle this situation?
Any suggession is appreciated.

I was looking to accomplish this using simple java
code without any 3rd party involvment.Then you will have to monitor all the directories that people might dump files into. You can't expect Java to automatically deal with things that the operating system doesn't support just because those things happen to be your requirements.

Check LAST_DDL_TIME from USER_OBJECTS, and LAST_CHANGE from USER_CONSTRAINTS.

can any one say me how to get the date of first day(date of Sunday) of a week for a given date in a BW transformations. For example for 02/23/2012 in source i need to get 02/19/2012(Sunday`s date) date in the result. I can get that start date of a week using BWSO_DATE_GET_FIRST_WEEKDAY function module. But this function module retrieves me the start date as weeks monday(02/20/2012) date. But i need sundays(02/19/2012) date as the start date. So it would be really great if anyone sends me the solution.

Hi,
The simplest way would be to subtract 1 from the date date which you are already getting in transformation routine, but instead of doing that subtraction manually which might need bit of errort, you can simply use another FM to subtract 1 from given date.

Use IW format - it will make solution NLS independent. And all you need is truncate 7<sup>th</sup> day of each month using IW:
