How to get the specific filename
Hi..
I want to get the specific file where the filename contains current date like "asd.11.20051226.03.dat". Then, i want to write the filename to a text file.
Now, i only know how to get the list of file in a specific directory& write the whole list to a text file. How to filter the list of filename because they have "dot" in their name?
To determine if a string contains a dot:I have a feeling that about 10 seconds after he figures out whether the filename contains a dot he's going to need to look a little deeper to determine whether he found wakka.wrongfile.txt or 11.20.1980.the.file.hes.looking.for.data. Maybe?

I found that we can use Interface INavigationHelperService to read Portal Role selected by user at runtime from http://scn.sap.com/thread/52194
But this class is available in SAP NetWeaver 7.30 Enterprise Portal .
But in SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Enterprise Portal that interface is not available.
INavigationService is available there.
But didn't get any proper discussion on this interface for the same requirement.
Can you please help me.

How can I get the current path or filename?
I didn't really find any answers in the net. this.path or app.path were suggested but I couldn't get it to work.

vijayanFor both cases, the filename can be found on the FILE.ReceivedFileName Context Property. You can access this Property in a Pipeline Component or Orchestration and take any action you want, such as apply to a database.
The value is accessed by: MyReceivedMessage(FILE.ReceivedFileName)
In the case of a duplicate EDI Interchange, you would use the Failed Message Routing feature to capture the error message with either an Orchestration or Send Port. -

I am using SectrustEvaluate(trust,result) function to test the server certificate against the root ca installed in keychain.
Result of server certificate validation in case if comes as recoverable faliure how may i know what was the reason which causing it to recoverable failure.
I want to throw the specific error to UI to know why server certificate evaluation failed.
No API's available in ios , Some API's are there available in MAC.

The way you handle this depends on the OS.

The entire concept is pretty ridiculous in applications that don't work with files, and in most others it's irrelevant because there's never more than one relevant file open that's in use in a particular part of the application so there's no possibility of confusion what file is being worked on at any specific moment.

I've created a web application which user need to input some text and upload a file to server, It's simple that user just need to browse the directory to select the file. submit the form to server then ........
However, after user's review and they prefer the system can upload the latest file in a directory in the cilent's computer (as all files are stored in the same directory) and upload to server after user click submit button automatically. User only input the text in the form, no need to search the picture in the computer (can save time) .
I understand that there has some security issue. but just want to know is it possible to do this?
The question I would like to ask is
Can Java (servlet / jsp) can get the latest file in a pre-defined directory in client's machine?

Kin.JSP and servlets run on the server, not the client. The client receives the output of the JSP/servlet, usually as an HTML page. Your question is: can an HTML page read a directory on the user's computer. The answer is obvious: no, it can't.
You may be able to work around this problem with some kind of plug-in, but this would likely create more inconvenience for the user, not less. -

That's a good product suggestion, I'll pass that on. I always just declare a constant at the top of the DataPlugin VBScript and reference that whenever I need to send the name of the DataPlugin to a particular property or include it in an error message. In practice I've found it quite rare for a DataPlugin to change its name once it's been created, debugged, and deployed.
Note that if you use a DataPlugin to load data channels into the Data Portal, DIAdem automatically adds a property to each channel with that DataPlugin name. Look at the "Data source type" property name in the Data Portal's property table, and if you want to request that property programmatically, use one of the following methods:

Actually , one field(week_day) has 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 here 1--MON,2-- TUE like that.
another field has the date. based on that date, we have to go to that particular week and need to pick up the date by the above week_day. It should be in that week itself.

How to get the current PDF filename?
Hi everyone,
I know this might be a question that has been asked millions of times but I couldn't find a direct answer.
I'm using a work flow that comes with a Content Manager Solution so it is not Adobe this WF will generate a very long file name (about 30 characters) which will be used as the unique process number.
To move to the next step in the work flow I have to update the table in the database and the record to be updated will use the process number. What I did is I added a hidden text field to the form which should have the process number on the initialize function.
Now my question is how to get the file name of the opened PDF file??
I'm sure there is a function in JS but I couldn't find the way to do it.

So the File reaching to XI pipelane via J2SE File adapter--> XI adapter.
When we are using the dynamic configurator in the XI to get the filename

You have to check the system variable &NEXTPAGE&, if it's 0 it means you're in the last page.
From SAP Help:
This symbol is used to print the number of the following page. The output format is the same as with &PAGE& .
Note that on the last page of the output, in each window that is not of type MAIN, &NEXTPAGE& has the value 0.
