How to get the Trusted Identity Login Page with the needed parameters to make custom login screen instead of sharepoint Login Page?

hi guys
i have configured trusted identity provider for my public facing internet portal, but i dont want to use the login screen
since i have about 10 site collection which will use this authentication.
is there a class or property that gives me the url ready with the parameters like "wa" and "wtrealm" and the redirect url based on the place the user click the link from.

You can create your own login page and specify the URL for it in the authentication provider settings of a Web Application or Zone. So the easiest way to do what you want would be to extend your existing Web Application to a new Zone, change the login
Page url to point to use your custom zone, and tell users to use the url of that zone to login with the custom provider you have built.
If you want a single zone then you will need to modify a copy of the login page you display above and have it redirect to a custom login page for your identity provider if the pick the correct entry in the dropdown.

Thanks, that will work, but then I'll have to insert code into all my reports.
I can see that "Application Server Control Console" is able to rerun a report.
This must mean that the Report Server has access to the runtime parameters.
But how?

HTML Client: How to get the content/value of a custom control?

I made two Custom Controls named, "CustomControl_1" and "CustomControl_2".
In the render function of "CustomControl_1", how to access the value of "CustomControl_2"?
For example,

I would recommend creating screen properties and binding the controls to those screen properties. Then you can easily get a reference to any value. See this article for an example of the process using custom controls:

How to get the handle of AM in custom co

Hi All,
I am extending a controller in that controller if I use the code
OAApplicationModule am1 = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
I will get the handle of the am which is attached to the region.
But i want to get the handle of an AM which exists out side of the region i had imported the AMImpl
and now please let know how can i get the handle of this AM in my extended CO(custom CO)

I was trying with
CsfPoLovAMImpl lotam =(CsfPoLovAMImpl)pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
But it is giving an class Cast exception as
java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.apps.csf.portal.task.server.CsfDebriefAMImpl
at CsfPoLovAMImpl lotam =(CsfPoLovAMImpl)pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);

here i have got to modify one zscreen by adding 1 more field,when i added one field in teh screen by just writng the code in program as SELECT-OPTIONS ilart FOR CAUFVD-ILART.
but iam unable to get the field text for the text field from teh table CAUFVD.

Hi Varma,
Even if you want to personalise the Text also you can do without checking the DICTREF checkbox. Dirctly you can give the text in the Text elements by using the Menu GOTO -> Text Elemetns -> Selection Texts.

My requirment is based on the user roles i want to control the visibility of certain webcenter tabs and link .
I foundd a security object which holds all user related data information .
Like

is it possible to get such a kind of el expression to access useroles what we defined in OID .

#{securityContext.userInRole['yourRole']}Should do the trick.
Edit: just notice you put the roles in OID... Don't know if this is working for OID but maybe you should integrate OID with weblogic as a provider. This way the roles should be propagated to WLS. If you already have integrated OID and WLS, than i think this EL should work.

Unlike in 4.0 we wont have EAR file directly to import. First Basis people need to setup NWDI where in they import all packages. Once it is ready, in NWDS(dev env) we need to import configuration which will internally impors Development Components and their dependencies. Once you have everything in locla machine, we can create project make EAR FILE...

What kind of web page do you have? Do you have possibility to for example make RFCs? Then you could trigger events (with parameters that could "return" the values) and the workflow could react to those events. For example your task can have terminating events.

You have to check the system variable &NEXTPAGE&, if it's 0 it means you're in the last page.
From SAP Help:
This symbol is used to print the number of the following page. The output format is the same as with &PAGE& .
Note that on the last page of the output, in each window that is not of type MAIN, &NEXTPAGE& has the value 0.

How to get the total number of pages printed in a report?

Hi All,
I have a requirement where I need to print a frame of fields only in the last page. Unfortunately I cannot use the 'Print Object On' property as it doesnt work in my case. So, I am planning to write a format trigger on the frame to return TRUE if the page is the last physical page. Now, I need to know how to get the total number of physical pages that will get printed in the report so that I can use this to manipulate the frame. I was planning to use the 'Total Physical Pages' built-in, but it seems like I can just use it to print in a field and I can't use this field's value anywhere in the plsql code (formula column function/format trigger) in the report. Is there anyway to get the total number of pages printed in the report which can be used in the report plsql code?

I'm not 100% clear on what the requirement is from the description, however it does sound like you are making things unnecessarily complicated.
If you want permanent/ID-independent links then use application and page aliases.
so here we used to display the url like this: <tt>{noformat}http://81.131.254.171:8080/apex/f?p=122{noformat}</tt>
Do you mean that the URL is displayed like that? If so that doesn't seem particularly helpful. How is anyone supposed to know what it is?

and in my UI page

and my javascript
function showUserId () {

alert(curUser);
and i have called this function on my submit button, but i am not able to get Current Logged User ID value to show in the alert nor able to show the current logged user on the UI page.
my requirement is on custom UI page i need to show Current Logged User in one corner of the page and also need to show the same user in alert when he submits the button.
Appreciate for the help.

How to get the page number in section break level?

* Create a Field on the margin.
* Set its "Source" to "Page Number"/"Physical Page Number".
* Click "Page Numbering" button.
* In "Reset At" list box, choose the Repeating frame that surrounds your detail group in the layout.
This should cause Reports to increment the page number until the "Company" repeating frame resets.
