How to hide or re-arrange individual links on top nav

Hi,
On my top nave, I see the current site as the very first link.  After that, I have other manually created links.  What I would like to do is to move that first link to, lets say, the 2 link on the top nav.  The nav settings does not provide
the option to move this first link.  So, are there any other options I can use?  If not, my preference is just to hide that first link.
Thanks

If you want to hide the link use the following CSS code snippet in your page or masterpage.
.ms-core-listMenu-horizontalBox li.static > a{
display: none !important;
.ms-core-listMenu-horizontalBox li.static > ul a{
display: block !important;

  • How to hide welcome user and logout link for only specified pages

    Hi,
I have few pages in my application like forget password page, in which i don't want to show logout link on top corner and welcome message. For rest other pages its ok. If I edit the template body for doing it then in all pages the welcome user vanishes, where i need to hide it for some specific page only.
    Please give some idea.
    Thanks,
    Chandra Bhanu

    Go to Shared Components/Templates.
Find the page template that you are using and click Copy.
Go into the copy and look for &USER. and #NAVIGATION_BAR# and delete.
Go to each page that does not need the user and navigation and assign the new template.
This will get rid off the user details and the navigation bar.

    Hi,
Try with iview "Open on new window" parameter options. Perhaps if you use new window without head, you can show iview without options you don't want.
    Hope this helps,

  • App Store link in top nav?

    Hi,
I was under the impression that the App release was going to maintain the CMS as a white label solution.  With the link to the App Store, this is no longer the case, as the App store talks about Business Catalyst and is now accessible to all our clients.  This isn't so much an issue for me, but I think there are other partners who are relying on the CMS as being white labeled.  I just wanted to voice this concern in case there are other people who share it.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

The App Store link is only available to partner users, not SBOs.
    Hope that helps clarify.

  • How to 'hide' one stroked-only object behind another?

I'm struggling with something that shouldn't be this difficult!
    I'm laying-out a white-only T-Shirt logo (to go on a dark-green T-shirt)
For the sake of simplicity, let's say I have two ovals with no fill, just a white stroke.  A small oval overlapping (on-top-of) part of the edge of a larger (underneath) oval.    I
Any advice on how to 'hide' the line that's 'behind' the top object?
    Thusly: http://i.imgur.com/ZghWTMa.jpg

Actually, I'm not completely sure yet.
Steve's answer assumes screen printing with a single opaque white ink. It won't work if printing to non-opaque composite transfers, or cutting from aplique vinyl, or if you're going to import the two-ellipse artwork for combination with other artwork.
    Since you don't know:
    1. Draw the two circles with a stroke color and a fill color (ex: black Stroke, white fill) on both.
    2. Apply the desired stroke weight.
    3. Object>Path>Outline Stroke.
    4. Pathfinder palette: Merge.
    5. White pointer: Select the two inside regions and delete.
    6. You now have a single Compound Path; no overlapping objects, and actual "holes" where you want the substrate to show through. Apply whatever fill color (white, etc.) you need.
But bear in mind what has already been stated: White, unless defined as a Spot Color, does not "print." Think in terms of inks, not in terms of "color". In a program like Illustrator, "white" normally means "no ink." And you always have to know what printing method you are designing for.

  • How to hide edit link for  some rows in report? (according to value of col)

    Helo,
How to hide edit link for some rows in report? (according to value of column)
    regards
    siyavuş

    Hi siyavuş
You can do this by taking the edit link off the report and putting it into your report SQL.
Use something like Select CASE WHEN (condition)  THEN
'Put your edit link in here as an html Anchor like<a href="(target)">Edit</a>'
    ELSE
    tt.value
    END edit_link
    FROM test_table tthope it helps,
    Gus..

  • How to hide "Create Requisition Request" link in MSS

    Hi All
How to hide "Create Requisition Request" link which is in Recruiting services in MSS?
    Rgrds
    Sri

    Hello,
Create Requisition Request is triggered by Home Page framework service MSS_HCM_RECRUITING_NEWREQ_REQUEST.
In order to deactivate it, in customizing:
    SPRO-IMG:
    Cross-Application Components
      Homepage Framework
        Services
          Assign Services to Subareas
    On the entry :
    MSS_HCM_RC_REQREQUEST     MSS_HCM_RECRUITING_REQ_STATUS_OV     20
You can set the position as blank, so it will not show up. You can also delete this entry.

  • How to hide or add columns to a linked report in SSRS 2014

    Hai All,
I have a report deployed on a server. And I created a linked report to it into another folder. Now I can actually manipulate on parameters of the linked report through Report manager but I have to hide some columns when displaying the linked report. Is there
a way to show or hide the columns on the Linked report.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Hi,
This is a  SQL report designing issue, with report builder we should be able to change the visibility of a column. Reports that deployed to
report manager can be edit by report builder, we may save it after edited.
    Please check the article below:
Column Visibility Dialog Box (Report Builder)

  • How to hide a field from table maintenance view?

    Hi,
How to hide a field from table maintenance view?
The field is used for data created date. I need to hide it from display.
    Thanks

    Chk this link.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/66/33f52010dd11d6999300508b5d5211/frameset.htm
    Maintenance Attributes
You can assign a maintenance attribute P to individual fields in the maintenance view definition in the Dictionary (SE11). It can be  H (hidden)
    H (hidden)
A field flagged H is not displayed on the screen. This field must also be filled in the background by a routine at an event.
The system writes R and H fields to the database like all other fields when a new data record is saved.

  • How can you find out an individual image size from multiple images on a canvas

This is probably a really really simple question but I can't for the life of me find how I can find out an individual image size from multiple images on a canvas. eg I have 3 photos i want to arrange 1 large and the other two next to it half the size. How can I edit individual image size on the canvas as when I select the image on a sperate layer I want to resize it just resizes the entire canvas and not the individual image
    Thanks

I want to know they exact dimensions though. You can get them by dragging to the 0,0 corner and then reading off of the ruler scale on the sides but its fiddily as you have to zoom right in and work it out. I know in photoshop there is a ruler but is there any other way in Elements?
