How to Hide Portlet conditionally

Hi,
I have page on which I show 2 portlets A & B.
Both are page Flow portlets.
Portlet A has two pages ( Search.jsp and result.jsp)
When A portletâ€™s search page is displayed show portlet B .
But when A portlets result page is displayed donâ€™t show portlet B
Can we implement this ?

How to hide the Condition types in item condition screen in Sales Order ?

Hi Experts,
We got new requirement from the Client. Pricing Condition types are ZZBG, ZPBG, ZPBA, ZFSG, ZBDG and ZBHG part in Pricing Procedure. These condition types have Condition records. These need to be hidden in Item conditions screen in Sales Order but other status of the conditions remain unchanged. Pleas provide me the solution earliest How this we can achieve in a best way.

You can achieve this using CONDITION EXCLUSION.
Maintain Condition exclusion for first condition type its Exclude the condition types which are below to that.
You must set a condition exclusion indicator for the price. You can do this in two ways:
If you want to set the condition exclusion indicator a follows then you specify it:
1..for all condition records of a condition type (e.g. with condition type PR00) when defining a condition type in SD Customizing
2.for an individual condition record (e.g. only for material 4711) in the detail screen of a condition record (in the Condition exclusion field)

How to hide portlet

Hi,
Can someone help me to do this ? :
I've got a two columns layout page P1.
On the left side i have the pageflow portlet A.
On the right side i have the pageflow portlet B.
When i click on page P1, the portlet A display a form and the portlet B is hidden.
When i submit the form (in portlet A), the result appears in portlet A and the portlet B becomes active and displays a form.
When i submit the form (in portlet B) the results appears in portlet A (the portlet B dispalying the previous form).

so you want to hide a portlet.
from a backing file just return false from the preRender() phase
or
call PortletBackingContext.setVisible(false);
you can do this from the current backfing file or from some other portlets backing file by discovering the other portlets baking context via
DesktopBackingContext.getPortletBackingContextRecursive(String instanceLabel)

How to hide the pricing conditions specified in pricing procedure of sd.

dear friends,
my situation is to hide the conditions specified in the pricing procedure. so that it is not viewed by the some users.can you please tell me how to hide the conditions. so some of the persons, who are having authorization to see the conditions , will be able to see the pricing conditions.
can you please suggest me how to do this.

Hide Condition Records Line Item & Header Wise from all the transactions QK / So / P.I. / Enquiry / Invoice etc. for specific user grps. - in CRETATE / AMEND / DISPLAY / REPORTS all
Only Display the fields

How to hide saved report filter condition

Hello,
I create an IR report and pre-create some saved report.
I would like to hide filter condition when end-user select one report on the list so that he/she cannot see and delete the condition.
Is there anyway to do that?

Another approach:
Open view CRM_WORKAREAHDR/WorkAreaHeader and change the configuration. There is a button in the bar named "Attributes" (probably hidden under MORE).
Once in there in edit mode substitute the content of attribute "UI_COMPONENT_3". It should be
Window=CRM_ALLSEARCHES.CRM_ALLSEARCHES/LauncherWindow;horizontalAlignment=right;
put there a
Width=0px;
The other way using business role is fine as well.

Hide portlet in between some date of the month

Hi all,
I have a requirement to hide a perticular portlet in between some dates in a month.
Say I want to show portlet from 1st of month to 15th o the month and hide portlet
for rest of the month.
How can I achive this.
Can I do it through portal admin if yes how?
Or i will have to do it programatically?
Any help on this will be highly appreciated

Right now, I don't think the entitlements support this type of
day-of-month checking functionality directly. However, you can use a
role and entitlement as part of a solution. You could have a servlet
filter or your portal's skin's jsp or the portlet's backing file
initialize a request attribute called DayOfMonth to the numeric day of
the month from a java.util.Calendar. e,g.:
request.setAttribute("DayOfMonth",
new Integer(Calendar.getInstance().get(Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH)));
Then, in workshop, create a Request Property Set in data/request. Add a
single-value, unrestricted Numeric property called DayOfMonth. Save the
Request Property Set. In the admin portal, create a role whose condition
checks the request's DayOfMonth property to be greater than or equal to
1 and less than or equal to 15. Entitle the portlet to that role.

How to hide zero rows from a structure

Hi
I have a month structue in rows which consists of 36 months. In the keyfigure coulmn also I have a structure with 6 keyfigures. In normal circumstances there will be values only upto 12 or 15 months. I want to hide the remaning rows. Is it possible.
I created a counter on one important keyfigure so that when value>0 it is 1 otherwise 0. I call this counter. Then I tried to create a condition to show only the 1. But while creating the condition after the keyfigure a column for month with the different elements of structure has to be selected. And of course the condition does not work.
Any suggestions how to hide the zero rows of structure

Right click on the key figure structure and characterstic structure select 'Properties' and check the option 'Also use Zero Suppression for Structure elements'.
Also from the query properties select the 2nd tab display and select the option Suppression "Active All Values = 0" and from Effect on Select "Rows and Columns".

How to hide the field from the view in the webdynpro application?

Hi Gurus,
I got a requirement where in which ,default layout has the field name Time.......To......... which is (2 input box ) and one lable assigned to the container.........
Now my requirement is to hide this field from the layout for all cases of leave......(all types of leave)....
I got a few inputs from forum that we can achieve this by implementing the following steps..........
Create In context => Value attribute => Say Visibility
Go to its properties
Select com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Visibility
In View Layout
Select UI Element Set Visible property to this context variable Visibility.
In wdDoModifyView() You can set this property to false
wdContext.currentContextElement().setVisibility(false);
Can you people tell me where to create the value attribute........
In the view context or in the component context...........
and field that am talking about is assign to the container you want me to assign this context variable property to all ......Like to input box ,label and the container..........
Please calrify this ASAP...........

As per your guidelines I have created the value attribute in View context (which has the field..... which needs to be hide)inside the value node say FieldVisibility.......and attribute name OldTimeDuration......and I set this value with uidefeneitions Visibility .......
and I bind this vaule with the field property visible(Time.......To..........)which I need to hide...........
Now in the view implementation tab ..........I have coded in the doinit method(since my requirement to hide the field from the layout in all cases).........
wdContext.currentFieldVisibilityElement().setOldTimeDuration(WDVisibility.NONE);
But if I deploy the application and see still am getting the same field dispalying in the screen.........
I even tried putting this code in wdmodifyview method.........same results........
Kindly tell me how to hide the field permenantly from the screen............(without any conditions.)

How i hide a field of a custom view in OAF 11

Hi, im a new developer of OAF11.
What should I do, to customize the Purchase Order screen, if then the requirement is to hide the field that i insert from extended VO.
What I did was modify the XML of the page to add the field and then extended the original AM.
I added the extended view into the custom AM to prevent that fail with the field that i insert.
I must clarify that I modify the path of AM default for the path of the custom AM in the XML, then i upload the XML with the command import, and i see it the field in the page.
I tried to hide another field that i created by customizing the page, but I couldnt do. That´s why i insert directly the field in the XML original.
I Try to customize the driver involved with the page, but nothing happened.
First try it on the controller Father and after the son.
The page is in the POS module (iSupplier), and is POSVIEWPOG (PO Details).
The code that attempts to hide the field is:

You can do this by taking the edit link off the report and putting it into your report SQL.

How to hide the menus in Weblogic Portal?

I have to develop a page in Weblogic Portal 10.0 that uses a portlet for the UI presentation.
I have a requirement that the page is hidden by default. When I navigate to the page by selecting a link, I have to display the contents in that page. While displaying I should hide the portal level menus of other books/pages. But I have to display other contents like logo, etc.
Can some one please help me on how to hide the menus in the selected page?

As a quick and dirty solution i would edit the navigation jsps (singlelevel/multilevel/yourcustom menu jsp) and disable the navigation for all hidden pages.
Or create a backing file and dynamically change the navigation state on the desktop when the hidden page is requested.
Or have the page in a different portal file if possible and set the same header and footer there as well.
Or You could have a look at the detached portlets. These are used as popups often.

I am setting a flag = 'Y' in one condition as i want to display records only if flag = 'Y'. It is not displaying data in case flag != 'Y'.But it is displaying empty row in report for the record which does not have flag = ' Y'. How to hide those empty rows?
