How to i get the exact length of a playlist?

i am have upgraded iTunes
and AMONG the PLETHORA of un-needed and ANNOYING changes....
is the fact the the LENGTH of a playlist is posted at 1.6 or 2.4 etc.
i liked how it used to say 1hour 13 minutes
can anyone help me switch this back?

Core Java APIs don't have the ability to give your a code point range for a specific UnicodeBlock. You can, however, iterate through code points to generate the range...not particularly efficient. However, you'd only have to do this once. Alternatively, you can parse the Unicode file that defines the blocks. I can also imagine a very simple class that you could provide yourself. I think that providing the range seems like a reasonable enhancement to the core apis...you might consider submitting an Request for Enhancement (RFE).

How can I get the full-length ringtone "Calypso" back?

I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5. In iOS 5, Apple truncated the ringtone "Calypso." I would like to have the full-length ringtone back, as it is very special to me. Is there any way to make this happen?

I also had my ringtones...bought in Itunes...wiped out. So I went ahead and bought a new one. I synced it with the cable, and it is in the playlist as a ringtone. But when I go to edit the contact, the ringtone doesn't show up in the list. However, there is a Buy a Ringtone category at the top of the list.
On the upgrade, I lost a number of paid APPS. I don't know if its a scheme by Apple to make more money on a free upgrade or they just screwed up everyone with this.

I need to enter a command in Terminal that contains the pathname of an application. I know what the path is but Terminal does not recognize it. How do I make sure the pathname is in the correct form?

Enter the command up to the point of entering the file path and add a space, then drag the file into the terminal window. It will fill out the path.
If you need to go further into the contents of the Application package, you can continue with /Contents...
Another way is to start typing and then hit Tab to auto-complete. It will stop where it can't determine the next letter.
So, type /App tab and it will fill in /Applications. Type a / and start with the name of the app, then tab and it should complete. Continue till you have the correct path.
Spaces will be replaced with \<space>, so, App Store would end up as /Applications/App\ Store.app

How do I get the exact same "Flash" effect ("Text", "Lights and Optical") as shown in the preview?

Whenever I drag the preset onto the layer (or double click on Bridge) what happens is that the text kind of flutters in.
I tried matching the outline and background colors and the effect is much better, but not what's shown in the preview. It lacks the actual flashes, precisely what the preset's about.
Any help?

I gave the text a stroke with the same color as the background and checked the Motion Blur box for the layer, but didn't turn on the Motion Blur button on top. Now it seems to be working good.

How do I get the computer to burn a playlist. My first one worked, but nothing works since then. I get an error.

In iTunes, I burned a playlist to CD. It worked fine. Then I tried another one, and since then the computer initializes for a long time, then goes directly to finishing without writing to the CD. At the end, I get an error message that there was a failure and it can't try again. The CD is no longer blank, so I can't use it again and have to throw it away. What can I do?

I think I have this posted in the wrong area, but don't know how to change it. I figured out how to download songs to my playlist in Itunes 12.1. It seems that it does not work unless I delete the songs from my library first so they are only available on icloud. Then I move the songs to the playlist. After I am done adding the songs to the playlist, I press the cloud next to the playlist and the songs are downloaded to my iphone. If I press sync first, I end up with the old playlist back on my computer minus the deletions and new songs.
I am now having problems getting my new purchases to transfer to my library. If anyone knows how to get Itunes 12.1 to do this automatically, please let me know.

How to get the correct length...removing appended extra ascii characters

I have a table fs_lg_partgroups, having the columns description,subgroupname.
I have a query like this..
select description,length(description) from fs_lg_partgroups where subgroupname='FORMULA226';
Then i got the output as
formula226 and the length is 42. Even though there are 10 characters only.
I came to know that some ascii characters are appended to description values, so it is showing the length like this.
But i don't know how to remove those ASCII characters from description column for all rows to get the exact length.

If you have used char data type then use varchar2 datatype instead of char datatype for description column.

How can i get the length of a string with Simplified Chinese?

when i use eventwriter to add content to a xmldocument,there are some chinese simplified string in it,i use String.length() for the length ,but it is not correct~how can i get the right length for eventwriter?

Below is a simple patch for this problem. Using this patch you need to pass 0 as the length argument for any XmlEventWriter interfaces that take a string length.

How can i get the failed row numbers in batch insertion?

Afeter execution of batch insert operation into a table, i use OCIAttrGet() to get the error number of insertion, as expected, it returns the correct number. however, when i use OCIParamGet() to get an error handle and then to get the exact failed row numbers , OCIParamGet() returns -2 , means "INVALID_HANDLE". can anyboy tell me why ? how can i get the exact failed rows?

now, if batch insert is executed, eg, there are 10 records to be inserted, thus m_nArrayLength is set to be 10. There are 5 records of the 10 have exist in database, so some of insert operations will fail. After execution, m_nErrNum is 5, and i can get the failed row numbers.Everything seems go well.

the setTimeZone method of SimpleDateFormat (actually inherited from DateFormat). Use it to set it to your timezone when parsing or formatting a date string for your timezone and set it to the UK timezone when parsing or formatting a date string for their timezone.

While my friend was setting up his iphone, i used my icloud. So now, when i send him a message i get the exact same message from myself. How do i fix this?

While my friend was setting up his iphone because i had recently updated it for him he needed a itunes account to use for "bump" so i could transfer his contacts back. So i used my itunes and icloud account to sign in so he could download that because he didnt have any of those accounts. So when i logged in he was basically me, my name was his phones name aswell. Well i used "bump" his name was the same as mine. I got the contacts to work but now every time i send him a text message, (imessage) i get the exact same message from myself. How to i unverify him off of my icloud so i can be the only one using it?

The fact that the problem only occurs when iphones are texting you leads me to think that iMessage may be the culprit. The fact that it is only iphones using SPRINT however is weird. Try turning imessage off on both yours and your sons phones to see if the problem persists. If it does, it may be a carrier problem.

Connect your phone to computer, and sync like this. Check the boxes for the playlists, artists, albums you want to sync. Then click Apply. If you have enough space on your phone, you can choose Entire music library.

How to get the exact case of a local file

I am using form 10g with webutil and have a local file called "Abc.sql".
In my form, there is a input text and a button to let users to input the local file name and the press the button to upload it to
the app server.
What I want is : I can upload the file in the server with the exacl local file name. That means "Abc.sql" no matter users input
"abc.sql" or "Abc.sql" in the input text.
How to achieve this ? Is there any function provided to get the exact local file name ?
For example, if I input "abc.sql" , it can return "Abc.sql".
