How to Identify an whether an Sales order is created through EDI Idoc

Hi all,
By seeing an Sales Order, How to identify whether the sales order is created through EDI Idoc or by other source.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Chakri

Hello Chakri,
As far as I know, for EDI orders a separate order type is created. So, they use to that create the order with an Idoc.
But, remember you can use other order types as well.
Thanks,

    Hi
You can use the table CDPOS for tracking the changes at the Table level with the Sales order number
or Else you can also use AUT10 transaction to track the logs/chanages with START DATE, END DATE and the Transaction code in your case it is VA02
    Please check and revert back

  • Find status of a sales order created using EDI IDOC

    Hello everyone,
I have IDOC created for incoming sales order using FM 'IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS'.
When a sales order is created manually iva VA01, it prevents the order from being saved when a specific error is hit unless user resolved it first.   However, when the order is created via EDI IDOC, the error is hit and it cannot be created.  In the sapmv45a program, i will to say that if it is an EDI IDoc transacion for the order, let it bypass the error and create the order.
Can anyone pls tell me how to check the status of a sales order being created using EDI IDOC ?
    Sy-batch does not work.
    Thank you in advance.
    Joyce

    Joyce,
If you pay attention the code in FM it is exporting value of da_edi_sign to memory id "SD_EDI_ACTIVE" stored in constant "da_memory_id". ('CONSTANTS: da_memory_id(13) VALUE 'SD_EDI_ACTIVE'.)
In your program you have two you have two options.
    1. Declare a constant as in the FM and use that as mentioned below:
    CONSTANTS: da_memory_id(13) VALUE 'SD_EDI_ACTIVE'.
IMPORT v_memid FROM MEMORY ID da_memory_id.
    2. Hardcode memory id as below:
IMPORT v_memid FROM MEMORY ID 'SD_EDI_ACTIVE'.
    Hope this resolves your problem.

  • Merge PR (same sales order) and Create PO using BADI

    Hi,
How to merge PR (of same sales order) and create PO using Tcode ME59n.
    Is this possible using BADI?
    pls reply.
    A Rahim.

    Hello Deepak
This kind of issue is probably related to your rescheduling settings. The PO is probably excluded from the rescheduling settings on customizing or it is outside the rescheduling horizon.

  • How to Send Purchase Order through EDI/IDOC.

    Hi Experts,
We are using SAP ECC.5. And intending to send the Purchase Order to Supplier through EDI/IDOC and Receive the Inbound Acknowledgement.
Appreciate, if you could help me, the required Configuration details for outbound and inbound (PO & Acknowledgement).

    Hi Kiran
Many thanks for the response. It is true that by changing the message type to EDI can generate idoc. What is not clear is any other config we need to do interms of Message generation, Resubmitting failed IDOC etc..
Out requirement is that we would generate the IDOC for New and changed docs and send to external EDI converter.
Inbound, receive the IDoc and post the acknowledgement.
Appreciate, if you could forward any document link which can explain the details.

  • How will i configure third party sales order

pls tell me how will i configure for third party sales order

    dear,
    prasanta,
the configuration of third party sales order is given below
Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

in third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
    Process Flow
the processing of third-party orders is controlled via material types. Material types define whether a material is produced only internally can be ordered only from third-party vendors, or whether both are possible. For example, a material that is defined as a trading good can only be ordered from a third-party vendor. However, if you manufacture your own finished products, you may also want, from time to time, to be able to order the same type of product from other vendors.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Sales
Third-party items can be created automatically by the system, depending on how your system is set. However, you can also change a standard item to a third-party item during sales processing manually.
    Automatic third-party order processing:-
if a material is always delivered from one or more third-party vendors, you can specify in the material master that the material is a third-party item. During subsequent sales order processing, the system automatically determines the appropriate item category for a third-party item: TAS. To specify a material as a third-party item, enter BANS in the Item category group field in the Sales 2 screen of the material master record.
    Manual third-party order processing
In the case of a material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing. For a material that you normally deliver yourself, you specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.
If address data for the ship-to party is changed in the sales order in third-party business transactions, the changed data will automatically be passed on to purchase requisition and also to the purchase order ,if one already exists. In the purchase order, you can display the address data for the ship-to party in the attributes for the item.
You can only change the address data for the ship-to party in the sales order for third-party business transactions, and not in the purchase order.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Purchasing
when you save a sales order that contains one or more third-party items, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition in Purchasing. Each third-party item in a sales order automatically generates a corresponding purchase requisition item. During creation of the requisition, the system automatically determines a vendor for each requisition item. If a sales order item has more than one schedule line, the system creates a purchase requisition item for each schedule line.
Purchase orders are created from purchase requisitions in the usual way. For more information about creating purchase orders, see the Purchasing documentation. During creation of the purchase order, the system automatically copies the delivery address of your customer from the corresponding sales order. In a sales order, you can enter purchase order texts for each third-party item. When you create the corresponding purchase order, the texts are automatically copied into the purchase order. The number of the purchase order appears in the document flow information of the sales order.
All changes made in the purchase order are automatically made in the sales order as well. For example, if the vendor confirms quantities and delivery dates different from those you request and enters them in the purchase order, the revised data is automatically copied into the sales order
you process third-party items by creating a normal sales order. In overview for the order, you can then overwrite the default item category (TAN in the standard system) with the special item category for third-party items: TAS
    Billing Third-Party Orders
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.
FOR YOUR PROCESS Individual Purchase Orders WELL GIVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Individual purchase orders are used when your customer orders goods from you that are not in stock and must be ordered from one or more external vendors.
    Process Flow
During sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you (unlike third party order processing, where the vendor ships directly to your customer). You then ship the goods to your customer. While the goods are part of your inventory, you manage them as part of the sales order stock. Sales order stock consists of stock that is assigned to specific sales orders and cannot be used for other purposes.
Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    Prerequisites for 3rd party sales,
    Purchasing org,
    purchasing group,
assign the Purchase org to company code
    assign Purchase org to plant,
should not maintain the stock in material, it should be trading goods,

  • How can I use the field "Sales Order" on derivation?

    Dear All.
This is about PA characteristic derivation.
I want to change the characteristic value "Sales Order (KAUFN)" by derivation.
But I cannot select the characteristic field on target field.
The field "Sales order(KAUFN)" doesn't exist there.
Why? How can I use the field "Sales Order" on derivation?
    Y.C.Bae

    Hi Bae,
in order to be able to choose fields KAUFN (for sales order) and KDPOS
(for sales order item) as target fields of derivation step 'enhancement'
you have to modify the coding of subroutine EXIT  GET_ALLOWED_TARGETS
    in program RKEDRCOPA like this:
        NAME-IDENTIFIER = 'CO-PA'.
        NAME-TABNAME = FIELDTAB_ENTRY-TABNAME.
        NAME-FIELDNAME = FIELDTAB_ENTRY-FIELDNAME.
        IF FIELDTAB_ENTRY-USGFL CA 'DUV'
    BEGIN OF INSERTION *****
             OR FIELDTAB_ENTRY-FIELDNAME = 'KAUFN'
             OR FIELDTAB_ENTRY-FIELDNAME = 'KDPOS'
    END   OF INSERTION *****
             OR FIELDTAB_ENTRY-FIELDNAME = 'KNDNR'
             OR FIELDTAB_ENTRY-FIELDNAME = 'ARTNR'
Actually sales order number and sales order item shouldn't be changed
by derivation (therefore they are no valid target fields in standard)
but if you need to fill them within an enhancement this modification
will help you to define them as valid target fields. But this is just
the technical frame so far; the logic from which table you'd like to
derive the sales order number correctly depends on your implementation
of the enhancement! I just want to ask you to be rather careful with
the implementation of the exit so that the sales order number isn't
changed in cases that shouldn't be concerned.

    Abhisek

    Dear Sachin,
    Please follow the point as given below;
    1. In VTFL for your item category maintain pricing type as B if it is delivery related billing and if it is order related billing VTFA maintain pricing type as B and one more thing maintained Billing Quantity as C if you using VTFA and Billing Quantity as D if you using VTFL.
    2. Create the new condition records in VK11 for your new price ( Do not change the existing  condition record in VK12) with proper validity dates
    3. Use update button in billing the system will pick the new record by accessing VK11 in billing.
    Try this, it will work.

  • How to transfer cost from old sales order (cancelled) to new sales order

    Hi Gurus
I want to know, how to move cost from one sales order to another sales order.
SD created sales order before 1 month and there was production order behind this. Production was completed and all the cost was moved to sales order and also SD has raised invoice on customer. This transaction was completed.
The above order was rejected by customer due to some changes in the order. SD raised another sales order and production order was created to to additional work. Production transfered above stock (produce before on old production order) to new production order.
My problem is stock is now transfered to new production order but cost is still sitting on old sales order. How do I transfer cost from old sales order to new sales order. SD cancelled old invoice and raised new one with full value (old + new work) on new sales order. Now cost is on old sales order and revenue is on new sales order.
    Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi
I have reverse the sales order settlement, PP order settlement to sales order and I have also done KB11N for transfering the cost to the new production order.
The only problem is I was unable to transfer labour hour confirmation as cost element used for this are not for transfering cost. If I will reverse the confirmation in PP order system will reverse material movement also which I don't want any more. Can you please tell me how to I reverse the Labour hours with out affecting goods movement?

  • How to change material discription at sales order item level ?

    Dear Gurus,
We have some requirement need to change material description at sales order item level , but in system it is in disable mode how to change that  into change mode in sales order item level?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Venkat

    Not possible in SAP Standard.
Instead why not create a Customer Material Info Record in T-Code - VD51?
Alternatively it the requirement to change the Description is only for few Sales Order then create a Text ID & Enter the Description in Text Feild. Then in Smartform program wrie a code which will check for Material Description in the Text first & if not found then take from normal material Description in Sales Order.
But Customer Material info Record seems to be the best solution.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • How to disable forward scheduling in Sales order

    Hi SD Experts,
Can you please provide the solutions for the below requirements.
    Requirement details are below:
How to disable forward scheduling in sales orders....
For My sales order type i already configured in customizing that delivery scheduling should only carry out backward scheduling.
The results is tht no forward scheduling in carried out when material is i stock .. this is ok...
But when there is no stock and ATP indiates an expected inward movemnt, the system ignores the indicator and carries out forward scheduling anyway.
Is there any possibility to change this behaviour?
    Appreciate any help....
    Regards
    Sudheer

    Hi
If you do not want the system to switch to forward scheduling automatically, you can specify per plant in Customizing for MRP, in the IMG activity Parameters for determining the basic dates that the system is to continue the backward scheduling calculation even if the resulting start date lies in the past.
    Thanks & Regards
