How to ignore JSP errors in JDeveloper 10g IDE?

How do I ignore errors in JSPs? I forgot it is in server.xml or some other xml configuration file.

Thanks for your reply. there is 'deprecation warnings' under Project Properties--> Compiler. These errors are not deprecation errors.

Our Java guys developed one JSP page for Login page.
After Log in instead of standard responsibilites page we calling custom jsp page, For getting DB connection they defined one properties file and hard coded DB details on that file and calling, but client is not accepting hard coding.
Pls give any idea for getting DB connection directly in JSP pages.

How to Ignore Insert Errors in LKM.

I would Like to know how to Ignore insert errors in Oracle Data Integrator (Something like flat file mechanism, where the errors are located into .bad and .error files). If My Step 'insert new records' thrown an error regarding to Wrong Data, Constraint, etc. I would like to redirect the records with error to another location without affect the performance.
is this possible throws Interface configuration or something like that?

How to ignore SSL errors

When setting up email via secure smtp and imap there is an error because of self signed cert and i am unable to complete the setup process. I know that
the ssl cert is invalid and ready to deal with it better than leave plain text connection. How to ignore ssl errors and continue with email setup?

Thank You very much for the solution. I had uninstalled the previous JDeveloper 10g installation and installed a new instance of the same. After which it worked without much of a problem.
However, my application requires to use MySQL database, so how do I tackle such an error. What was wrong with the connection? I mean MySQL instance seemed to work fine. Is there any version with which JDeveloper can work? Right now am using MySQL 5.0.? Please do advise.

MYSQL error in JDeveloper 10g using ADF Swing

I am trying to update data in mysql database. But the following error appears in JDeveloper 10g using ADF Swing
Mysql library is mysql-connector-java-3.1.12
What is the problem ? INSERT and SELECT queries do not give errors. But UPDATE has problem.

After i put a jtable,navigator on the form using appmoduledatacontrol on the top-right side of the jdeveloper, i run the form. Everything goes ok listing rows of data. But the error appears when i change the value of a field on the table and updating it using navigator.

How to create Application Workspace with Jdeveloper 10g 1.3.2?

Following the instructions in "Developing and Using ADF Faces Skins", I am trying to create an Application Workspace.
The instruction says: "In JDeveloper, create a new Application workspace and name it - ADFFaces_skin_sample"
I can not find the way to create Application workspace with Jdeveloper 10g 1.3.2.
Because when I click FILE==>New I got "New Gallery--Application" in left, in right only got "Application, Empty project, File, Java Class, Java Interface". There is no "workspace" item.
I try to use Jdeveloper 10g 1.3.1, got same result.
I found other ADF Skin training samples. All of them asked to create Application Workspace. But the Jdeveloper version used by all those samples were earlier than 10g 10.1.3.2
Please let know how to create "Application Workspace"?

What used to be "Application Workspace" in 10.1.2 is "Application" in 10.1.3.2

Error installing jdeveloper 10g

i have this error when trying to unzip and install jdeveloper 10g (jdev9052.zip)
it says..
Error loading Theme
The file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Themes\MyTheme.Theme" is not a valid theme.
therefore, i cant install jdeveloper 10g..which i need it for my school assignment.
hope anyone out there can help me with this problem i'm encounting..thanks for your help
ps: i'm using XP pro for my OS

Try it on another computer this probably has more to do with your computer than with JDeveloper.

1. Re-test your connection from JDev to AS and it must success.
I suggest to create a new OC4J instance on AS and fill
the instance name on the dialog window while
creating AS Connection on JDev. i.e OC4J instance name (optional)
2. For JDev 9.0.5.x/10.1.2 using AS 9.0.4,
don't forget to install ADF Runtime Libraries on AS.
3. Make sure your AS support JDK/J2SE version as in JDev.
JDev 10.1.2 need AS to use JDK version 1.4.2_04-b05.
You can download it from http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.2_04/index.html
and install it.
To cek your ORACLE_HOME/jdk/bin/java -fullversion

How to create .ear file in JDeveloper 10g

Hi, I am new to Jdeveloper. I am using JDeveloper 10g. I have created one project abc.jws under which there are five .jpr folders(DTO.jpr,persistence.jpr,service.jpr,util.jpr,ViewController.jpr). I want to create .ear file for the whole project so that it can be directly put in the production environment. When I right click on the abc.jws and select New, the EAR option under deployment profiles is disabled. I would highly appreciate if someone can help me on this.

How to ignore MP560 error code B200

I have got error code B200 on my MP560 last week. I tried every methods which I found on internet, such as unplug, reset, deep clean the printhead, etc. But it doesn't work. I think I have to give up to recover the print function. I plan to buy a new printer but I'd like to use this MP560 just as a scanner. Is there any way to ignore the error code so I can use it as a scanner?

To try and resolve the issue, please remove the power cord from the back of the printer and leave it out for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it back on. If the error persists, the printer will require servicing to resolve the issue.

Amit,
SOA Suite is not yet certified for WLS 10.3. You have to wait for the certification of it.
At the moment you can't install the SOA Suite on WLS 10.3 nor connect from JDev 10.1.3 to it.

How to create a "pjc" using jdeveloper 10g

Hi guys
I am trying to make my first pjc (pluggable java component) using jdeveloper (default installation with Oracle developer 10g). I was following the [Jdeveloper 9 documentation||http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/index-087743.html] from OTN and got stuck once after creating the PJC1.java
According to the documentation, the property inspector should allow me to change various properties for the newly created .java file and let me add new events with the events tab. In my case, once after I select the java item from UI, the property inspector doesn't show anything. No tabs for properties or events :O
If somebody could point me towards Oracle documentation for Jdeveloper 10g, it would grateful.

We wanted to design a parameter screen for the reports, almost like with ERP Suite, where the parameter columns are dynamically created during runtime and the biggest challenge was to limit the MAXIMUM LENGTH for those columns, thus started our venture to find an appropriate solution. After spending almost 20 years in the field of software development, I just didn't want to copy a jar file from the web and get over with it. Instead I wanted to understand what the codes do.
Anyway, Francois was kind enough to provide the .java with his pjc blog and I created a new pjc based on this .java code :) and my objective was satisfied. If Oracle really wants to "kill" the forms/reports, I think they just should do that, instead of removing few highly sought components with so called "Newer versions"
Ridiculously the documentation library for JDeveloper 10.1.0 is empty, even though it is listed with Oracle documentation library.
