How to import Nodetypes using nodetypes.cnd file

Hi,
I found at page: http://wem.help.adobe.com/enterprise/en_US/10-0/core/using_crx/content_import_and.html
that it is possible to import nodetypes.cnd file. Is was located in the META-INF directory in the example.
Unfortunately when I try to import additional nodetypes using nodetypes.cnd no changes are visible in my Adobe CQ enviroment (CRXDE Lite, NodeType administration).
Does anybody know how to deal with such problem?

There are two options available to you,
1. Goto main console of crx, select node type administration, select "Import Node Types", copy/paste the cnd file in the textarea, keep "Automatically register nodetype" checkbox checked, and click "Submit" button, your node types will be available under "Custom Node Types" section
2. If you want to create custom node types programatically, then check the code in import.jsp of crx-explorer_crx.war under nodetypes folder, in this jsp CustomNodeTypeMgr is used to create and register the custom node types.

Hi,
You can not directly use a logo from a file into a Smart form. First you will have to upload it to SAP. This has to be done only once. Once it is imported into SAP then you can use it in smart form. To import a logo to SAP, goto SE78. Open the tree under GRAPHICS. Select the file type and click on the Import (first button on the toolbar, just before delete button). Select the logo file and give it some appropriate name along with description. Select appropriate type of the image and click Continue. Your logo will be uploaded into SAP from a file. Now in your smartform, Create a Graphic Node, give the name of the logo along with other properties. In this way you can import a logo from a flat file into SAP and consequently in a smart form.

you can, however, use uix jsp tags inside jsp pages.

How to import data from a text file into a table

I need help with importing data from a .csv file with comma delimiter into a table.
I've been struggling to figure out how to use the "Import from Files" wizard in Oracle 10g web-base Enterprise Manager.
I have not been able to find a simple instruction on how to use the Wizard.
I have looked at the Oracle Database Utilities - Overview of Oracle Data Pump and the Help on the "Import: Files" page.
Neither one gave me enough instruction to be able to do the import successfully.
Using the "Import from file" wizard, I created a Directory Object using the Create Directory Object button. I Copied the file from which i needed to import the data into the Operating System Directory i had defined in the Create Directory Object page. I chose "Entire files" for the Import type.
Step 1 of 4 is the "Import:Re-Mapping" page, I have no idea what i need to do on this page. All i know i am not tying to import data that was in one schema into a different schema and I am not importing data that was in one tablespace into a different tablespace and i am not R-Mapping datafiles either. I am importing data from a csv file.
For step 2 of 4, "Import:Options" page, I selected the same directory object i had created.
For step 3 of 4, I entered a job name and a description and selected Start Immediately option.
What i noticed going through the wizard, the wizard never asked into which table do i want to import the data.
I submitted the job and I got ORA-31619 invalid dump file error.
I was sure that the wizard was going to fail when it never asked me into which table do i want to import the data.
I tried to use the "imp" utility in command-line window.
After I entered (imp), i was prompted for the username and the password and then the buffer size as soon as i entered the min buffer size I got the following error and the import was terminated:

Please show me the easiest way to import a text file into a table. How complex could it be to do a simple import into a table using a text file?
We are testing our application against both an Oracle database and a MSSQLServer 2000 database.
I was able to import the data into a table in MSSQLServer database and I can say that anybody with no experience could easily do an export/import in MSSQLServer 2000.
I appreciate if someone could show me how to the import from a file into a table!

How to import old iPhone SMS.CSV file into new iPhone?

Hey everyone,
So I've spent a couple days on this as I just upgraded to the iPhone5S from my 4S. Long story short, my backup restore didn't work after multiple tries (gave me the file is corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone error).
I tried:
-reinstalling itunes
-updating itunes
-combining the 5S backup with the old 4S backup
-tinyumbrella
and a few of other things as I've forgot now.
The most important things I needed was the contact list and SMS history. I've got the contact list from extracting is successfully from the iTunes backup folder and using iCloud, but cannot figure out how to import the SMS.CSV file into my iPhone5S.
Any suggestions on how I can get my SMS messages from my iPhone4s into my 5S?
If anyone has any other suggestions on getting my Backup Restore to work that would be awesome too!

A word on SMS text messages. It is pracitcally impossible to import an SMS text-messages file to a new iPhone and have the Messages app on the new device read the messages.
You can transfer, however contacts and other individual data (such as calendars and notes) from one iphone to the next. I had my old Nokia which whose contacts I exported to a CSV file. I then imported the file to my iphone which converted the file into multiple contacts in the Contacts app on the iphone. You can use a contact management app such as this one in order to import the contact file to the new iPhone.

This can be automated... Most Windows applications support (or did support) DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange). In its basic form, you can send DDE commands to an application. E.g. load file using this filename, use the selection option on the menu, save the selection as a text file, etc.
In other words, you can interact with an application using DDE only - no keyboard or mouse input required.
DDE itself is fairly straightforward and not that difficult to code - the complexity is in the DDE payloads that need to be send to the application to make it behave the way you want it to. In the "old" days, this was documented in some fashion by applications. I cannot recall seeing any specific DDE commands and specs for common Window applications for many years now. Also, DDE was made part of the then new OLE2 spec and have since taken a backseat.
Not even sure if apps today still properly support it...
So instead of putting Corel data into Oracle, I would rather look at it the other way. After all, Oracle is the server - not Corel. Have a web front-end (written in APEX) that allows you to specify the participant's details and store this in Oracle.
Create an export filter in Oracle that dumps this into a XML (or similar) format understood by Corel. Having Corel open this file, convert it, and print it. Then look at how to automated these steps in Corel (using VB for Apps or something).

How to create and use library JAR files with command-line tools?

I am trying to figure out how to put utility classes into JAR files and then compile and run applications against those JAR files using the command-line javac, jar, and java tools. I am using jdk1.7.0_17 on Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.7.

I finally figured it out:
1. All name spaces must match -- identifiers, packages, file system, JAR contents, etc..
2. Tools must be invoked from specific working directories with specific option arguments, all according to the project name space.
My key discovery was that if the code says
import com.example.util.Hello;then the JAR must contain
com/example/util/Hello.classand I must invoke the compiler and interpreter with an -classpath argument that is the full path to the JAR file

Here is a console session that demonstrates building and running the code two ways:
1. Compiling the utility class into bytecode, compiling the application class against the utility bytecode, and running the application bytecode against the utility bytecode.
2. Putting the (previously compiled) utility bytecode into a JAR and running the application bytecode against the JAR. (Note that recompiling the application against the JAR was unnecessary.)

How to import or Open folders or files in imovie

Hi I used to be a Windows User , Now a Happy Mac User However I have all my Clips that I use to make movies In 1 Folder all are AVI files , Now I can work out how to Import 1 Clip but how can I import the Complete Folder , Eg, I make U.water Movies , I have a Folder marked Sharks with 10 different Shark Clips in , Another Marked Clown Fish with 20 clips in ,
I want to Import or Just Open to use the whole Folder with these Files In , If I have to do 1 at a Time it will take Forever as I have over 400 Clips of Various Marine Animals , and don't want to retype Name files etc again ..
So if anyone can help me to Open or Import these so I can use as Is that would be great ( most other programs I tried you can just open the Folder from the Source ??)

The first step is to ensure your AVI file containers hold iMovie '08 "edit" compatible files. For instance, an AVI file with M-JPEG video and Unsigned Integer audio would be compatible but an AVI file with M-JPEG video and adaptive PCD (ADPCM) would not be compatible. Once you know all the files in a given folder are compatible (or have been converted to any of the iMovie '08 compatible compression formats), then you can proceed to their actual import.

To import the files simply select the "Import Movies..." File menu option. When the window opens, create a new Event using an appropriate name (e.g., "Sharks" or "Clown Fish"). Now navigate to and open the source folder containing the files you wish to import to the newly named Event. If you want to import all of the files, simply Click on the first file in the folder and then Shift-Click the last file in the folder to select the first, last, and all intervening files for copy. If you only wish to import select files from the folder for "batch" import, then Click the first file and use Command-Click for each additional file you wish to add to your import list. Remember that while copying large lists of files may not be a time consuming process, thumbnailing them can take a long time depending on the compression formats involved.

How to import the subtitles from m2ts file ?

I have a problem with subtitles. Some time ago I did Blue Ray, including subs (using import from txt file). Unfortunatelly after I deleted all project I recognized that my BD DL disc is not working, only part written on first layer can be play .
Now, I copied m2ts files directly from BD and wanted to make BD again (maybe 2 x discs). Those m2ts files has embedded subtitles -some players show it in the file properities and they can display it.
Question is:
How to import them to Adobe Encore CS5 ? Why AE are not recognize them ?

It's a multiplexed transport stream, not something editable.
To get the subtitles out, you need an (illegal) ripper that will demux the transport streams.

How to retrieve and use an XSL file from CLOB field

I am using Java to query my data and return XML formatted data. I am able to format this data using an XSLStylesheet file. But I want to instead use an XSL Stylesheet stored in a clob field.
I have an XSL file stored in a clob field. How can I retrieve and use it to initialize an XMLDocument and then create an XSLStylesheet.

How to import the .exp/XPDL/XSDL file into ALBPM Studio 5.7

Can somebody tell how to import the .exp file that are developed in ALBPM Studio 6.0/Oracle BPM 10g r3 into ALBPM 5.7. I have tried but can not able to import the project as the file suported by ALBPM 5.7 is <.fpr.exp>. I have also tried to import the XPDL/XSDL file developed in 6.0 to 5.7 but can not able to do so. It is importing the file but the only the automatic activities are showing in workspace (All the other activities like Interactive, Grab etc are not displayed). The code inside that automatic activities are also not there.
How to import the file/files in ALBPM 5.7

Hi Bibhu,
I expect importing a project to an older version of BPM isn't going to work or be supported.
Most products are built to be backwards compatabile, not forwards compatible.
I recommend you go to one version of the product anyway - trying to maintain two adds to your maintenance and support overheads.
In which case migrating your processes from 5.7 to 6.0 (or even 10g) would be supportable and the best way to go.

to create. It would be of great help.Sushil, in general this is not viewed as a good practice.
The CIO jar file used to be shipped by Configurator development, but this ceased many releases ago. Nowadays, if you use a jar file, you run the risk of it becoming obsolete when you apply a Configurator patch.
Each configurator patch has the potential to change zero to many of our java classes. Our fixes may be either in the CIO, or in other portions of the product. Using a jar file from another customer has two obvious problems: (1) It will only be of use if you both are on the same Configurator release; and (2) it will only be of use until you apply a patch.
Once a patch is applied you cannot rely on the results you get from that jar file, because it is possible that one or more CIO classes have changed. This increases the risk of slowing down both your development and debugging process by forcing you to track down problems where behavior differs between runtime (which uses the latest class files) and your development environment (which is using an obsolete jar file).
The best practice we can suggest is to have your JDevelopment system refer to a custom library you create that points to the actual $CZ_TOP on the instance. In effect, you no longer need the CIO jar file, because you are referring to the files on the instance. This eliminates the risks I pointed out above, because you always point to the same data being used at runtime.
If this is not feasible, then you (or an administrator with access) will need to build the jar file on that instance. You'll need to repeat this each time the system is patched for Configurator, for the reasons above. I would recommend not building a jar file of the CIO, but instead of the entire CZ stack. Configurator has a lot of dependencies, so doing this eliminates all of the intra-product dependencies. You may still find inter-product dependencies to other Apps classes depending upon what you're doing in your extensions, so having access to the $APPL_TOP is handy while setting this up.
