How to indicate a path in WSUS Package Publisher
Hi guys!
I am doing a msi package of an app and I have to write the command line for "silent installation". The problem with that package is that I need to write a folder path: In the silent mode these MSI files are not extracted to the temp folder, Windows
installer looks for those MSI files in temp folder, if there is no files found in temp folder, then the application will not Install in the silent mode. When I execute the msi via "cmd", I have to write: msiexec /i c:\package.msi /qn and it works.
My problem is to "write that" in WPP. How I can say that in WPP?

i am facing a problem,i have prepared a jar file of an application, which should have a path-file in it & that path-file contains loaction from where applicatioin starts, and creates some file there. but i dont know loaction when i prepared the jar file.how to solve this problem.
but it is not in my hand, My jar file will be used by a vendor to code a Servlet which will access the classes in the jar file. it cannot be solved by My jar file.
My Question was
I have to deliver a jar file which contains my classes. This jar file will be used by a vendor to code a Servlet which will access the classes in the jar file.
One of the classes in this jar file is required to simulate a file-system (we call it "Repository"). Essentially, it creates a certain directory and reads-writes files into it.
My problem is how to specify the path (i.e. directory location) of the "Repository". Following are the possibilities I could see :
1. Hardcode the path in the java code - This is not desirable since we do not know it while I am preparing my jar-file.
2. Create a properties file, put Repository.path=... as an entry and package it with the jar-file - The problem is that sine this properties file is packaged in the jar, it is read-only. Hence, it cannot be changed at runtime.
I want to know what are the general approaches to this? -

I have the same issue with relative links using Captivate 8. I am trying to load Captivate modules into an LMS using relative links to document files within the LMS. The links work fine during a site page test so not an issue in the LMS, but from the Captivate module they aren't working....

AjayThere are few things you need to take care before executing exe from SSIS
1. The arguments etc expected by exe should be clearly defined inside execute process task
2. The Path where exe exists should be accessible to the account executing the package. SO you should grant account required permissions
3. If executing from a job make sure you either define a proxy account with required permissions and configure it to run the job or give service account all access required for executing exe

Hi all.
I had to break a closed path apart, delete a section, and re-do it. Unfortunately Illustrator has a penchant for deselecting the path you're working on with the pen tool and starting a new one from time to time, so now I have three paths instead of one. But they all have common end points, ready to join.
I've searched the doc, the forums, and the Web, but haven't found how to join these paths into one. Not a compound path that remains separable (which is what "Pathfinder" creates), but rather one path as if I'd drawn it continuously.
What to do?

If the main source of the problem is that the pen does not continue to draw but wants to draw a new path there might be some settings that could be adjusted so it would better suit you. Are you using a Wacom maybe?
Anyway, take a period where you closely watch the pen icon while you are drawing. If the pen discontinues there will appear an x just beside the icon. You can then move the pen to where it left off and a slash will appear at the icon to let you know you can continue.
Under usual conditions the pen only stops drawing the path if you hold down the Cmd key and click on a white area. If that is not the case something else is wrong.
A key can be assigned to a scripts via the Action Panel. Make a new Action. Stop recording and from the fly-out menu: Insert a Menu Item... etc. -

1. To delete objects in a request there are a number of ways, here is one:
Position cursor on modifiable request.
Double click on request and choose 'Objects' tab
Choose object line you want to delete and click 'Delete'
Save your changes.
2. To delete objects in a Dev Class:
Go to work bench --> edit object, Class and give your class name, you will see delete option at the bottom of the screen.
3. How to delete all objects in a package:

How to load original fonts in a packaged ID file I was sent
How to a load fonts into a packaged document another designer sent me; I don't want to use them in my document, but I'd like them in hers. This InDesign CC14. In other words, I have her fonts in her package, but don't know how to get them showing in her document correctly without using them in mine.

I do not see these in the Fonts Folder, or much else I recognize as a font. I didn’t look before because I just assumed when packaged every font would be collected, but maybe they are just not there. -

I got this doubt, when searching logs on the servers. I have 2 WFE's in my farm, I got an error from enduser. So in which WFE server i need to check the logs.
How to configure logs path. Is it is possible to specify logs path on our own instead of 14 hive folder.
BadriThat is a really bad idea, especially with idle disconnects and other unreliability of CIFS.
You should instead check out the command
Merge-SPLogFiles which will allow you to combine ULS logs from multiple servers into a single file.
You can certainly specify your own path, but the path must be available on all servers. For example, if you specified D:\Logs, D:\Logs must exist on all SharePoint servers within the farm.

The problem is
While making an entry in standard there is a field called documents through which we attach our images in sap.
How to get the path of the image stored with the corresponding order so that the image can be displayed while we are creating a report.
I know how to upload the image while creating a report using docking control.
I am not able to get the path of the image stored...

PoojaI am not aware of exactly which tables are used for storing the attached doc. details, but we have worked in the similar requiremnent.
What you can do is .... before uploading the image to any order, try swich on the SQL trace ST05 and after upload switch off.
The log will display what are the tables involved while storing the image. And you can easily find out the image location.
