How to input NaN in LV8.5

I'm attempting to do the empty waveform trick to make a graph appear to have 2 different colors, but I can't seem to input NaN into my arrays.  I've tried using positive infinity, 1/0, and NaN in a numeric constant, but they all default to ~2.25E9.  How else can I do this?
Solved!
Go to Solution.

Are you sure the representation for the numeric is set for double?  2.25 e9 is close to the limits for an I32 integer.  I had no problem with LV 8.5.1.  If I have a constant set for I32 and enter NaN, it automatically converts the constant to DBL.  If it is part of an array, it does not convert automatically.

  • How to input data into an arraylist from a text file?

    I am trying to take data from a text file and put that data into an arraylist. First here is the text file:
    [item1, 10, 125.0, item2, 10, 12.0, item3, 20, 158.0]
    3
    4530.0
    [item5, 65, 555.5, item4, 29, 689.0]
    2
    56088.5
    [item7, 84, 34.5, item6, 103, 0.5, item8, 85, 1.36]
    3
    3065.1The text between the [ ] is the output from my arraylists. I have three arraylists. The first [ ] belongs to arraylist A, the second to arraylist B, and the third to arraylist C. The format of the arraylists is this:
    <item name>,<# in stock>,<value of one item>
    The first number below the arraylists in the text file represents the number of items in the list. The second number below the arraylists represents the total value of the items in the arraylists.
    Here is the class file I have (yes, it does everything):

    Thanks but I figured it out. Heres a sample of the code i used to solve my problem:

  • How to Input Value in  ALV report at reuntime...?

    Dear All,
    How to Input Value or change the value of a field in  ALV report at runtime...?
    regards,

    HI,
    To input value in ALV you have to make it editable.
    to change values at runtime you have to capture some events and then change your values in internal table which is used to display alv.
    Here is an example of editable ALV.
    <b>REPORT ZWA_ALV_EDITABLE_FM .
    type-pools: slis.
    data: gs_layout type slis_layout_alv.
    DATA: d_ref TYPE REF TO data.
    DATA: itab type table of fmfint.
    SELECT * FROM fmfint
    INTO TABLE itab.
    gs_layout-edit = 'X'.
    * Call ABAP List Viewer (ALV)
    call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
         exporting
              i_callback_program      = 'ZWA_ALV_EDITABLE_FM'
              i_callback_user_command = 'USER_COMMAND'

  • How to input multiple records in tables in web dynpro

    Hi
    In web dynpro table I am able to input data in first row only. How to input data in other rows.
    Thanks,
    Saurabh

    hi, okay..
    I summarize in 3 aspects:
    1.You want make the Table row play like "Input field"
    The solution is :
    In the table column, you set the cell editor as "Input field"
    2.You want to use the FILTER function
    The solution is :
    set Filter Value property and realize "OnFilter" event...
    3.You want to add Ready for Input rows to your table
    The solution is :
    You should make use of the Context Node bound to the table. The EXAMPLE coding:
      DATA lo_nd_flights TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      DATA lo_el_flights TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
    * append the element with initial attribute value
      lo_nd_flights = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_flights ).
      lo_el_flights = lo_nd_flights->CREATE_ELEMENT( ).
    * bind the newly created element
      lo_nd_flights->BIND_ELEMENT( new_item             = lo_el_flights
                                   set_initial_elements = abap_false ).
    4.You want to set N rows ready for input initially
    The solution is :
    Set the Row visible property..
    Best wishes.

    So how to input chinese chars in ipod touch?

    --Jones

    Don't try to jailbreak it 3d party software is not always 100% qualified stuff. E.g., yesterday I've put Russian localization pack on my iPod and got a lot of "surprises": crashing keyboards & iPod apps, crappy not smoothed fonts etc.
    There is also no Russian || Ukrainian keyboard on iPod. That's Ok, but adding / changing contact details in the Address Book or editing iCal event is a really weird thing. Why should I use translitaration or write everything non-native language?! That's stupid that localization doesn't include language inputs.

  • How to input DAP Key into the card?

    There're three questions I've confused for a long time.
    1 Can I input the DAP Key into the ISD ? Or I must first create a SSD Instance and input the DAP Key to SSD?
    2 Is the DAP Key version 0x73 and index 01?
    3 Which command is used to input the DAP Key to ISD or SSD ? PUT Key Command or STORE DATA Command? If use STORE DATA command, can you give the example?
    Thank you,
    DongLin
    Edited by: Ivy_D on Apr 15, 2009 5:36 AM

    Thank you for lexdabear's answer.
    Depends what card you're using. While it is not forbidden by GP spec. to put DAP key on ISD, many GlobalPlatform cards allow it to put only on SSD. The only exception I know is jTOP from Trusted Logic.+
    I use JCOP, it supports SSD. And is the DAP key version same to be input to the ISD and SSD ? Do the ISD and the SSD all have their own key set (from 0x00 to 0x7F) ? They don't share to each other ?
    You can use one or the other. Both commands are allowed to populate SD keys. Show me an example what you tried and I will comment on it.+
    1 select ISD and do authencation
    2 create a instance of SSD using Install command
    3 select ISD and do authencation
    4 select SSD AID
    5 put-key command to input public key with version 0x73 and index 1 into the SSD
    Is this work flow right to input the DAP Key into the SSD? Another question: how to input DES3 DAP Key into the SSD ? what's the key version ?
    Thank you again.

    i got the unlock code from at&t but i don't know how to input the code on the phone to unlock the iphone 4s

    There is no "unlock code". If you legitimately unlocked your iPhone via ATT, you will get an email detaling the unlock process, which involves connecting to iTunes. Follow the directions in the email.
    If you used one of those web sites that promise an magical "unlock code" you probably got scammed.
