How to make row as selected in table

Hi Team,
Jdev Version:- 11.1.1.6.0
I have one table on my jsff page which is made up of List of type Data structure.
In that i have two columns and i am able to display table with records on page.
I want to transfer my row selection to other row on click of button.
Could you please suggest what I need to do for this.

Hi ,
You can use the navigation controls for the button , for the first record you can use binding.First.execute and for next row binding.Next.execute operations.

Hi,
the tree component has changed compared to 10.1.3. You no longer have a tableSelectmany component that renders as checkboxes. Instead you use the ctrl key and select the table rows

How to make a JPanel selectable

When extending a JPanel and overriding the paintComponent() method the custom JPanel can not be selected so that it gets for example KeyEvents.
But if I make the new Class extend a JButton it gets of course selected and able to receive for example KeyEvents.
My question is therefore; what does the JButton implement that a JPanel doesn’t so that a JButton gets selectable? Or in other words; how to make a JPanel selectable?

Just to add a bit more about this question. I have seen in other related questions that this feature (vertical text) is not available in (apparently) the whole iWork09. someone even said that it should be asked to the developers, so they include this feature in iWork10. I find this issue a bit sad. This feature has been present in msOffice since a while, and at least for me, this is quite important for my work. It is also apparently not possible to have different page orientation in the same document, meaning portrait and landscape, so one can have wide tables in a whole page, for example. If this is true, it is again sad, and I just cannot understand why such a basic feature is not available in an already 09 version. I am using only the trial version of iWork, but already in the first day I have discovered that I actually cannot do what I was used to. Again sadly I (and many others I guess) will have to stick to Office until the mac software is fully developed.

How to make a dynamic selection screen

I have been searching the SDN for long time, but couldn't find the answer, so therefor a new post.
I have an internal table with following values:
VBKD-BSARK_E
TVKO-VKORG
By these values I would like to make a new selection-screen whith following:
Parameters: FIELD1 like VBKD-BSARK_E.
Parameters: FIELD2 like TVKO-VKORG.
Next time the internal table can contain
MARA-MATNR
TVKO-VKORG
VBAK-BSTZD
And the parameters should then be:
Parameters: FIELD1 like MARA-MATNR.
Parameters: FIELD2 like TVKO-VKORG.
Parameters: FIELD3 like VBAK-BSTZD.
How do I do that -any suggestions?

How to get row count(*) for each table that matches a pattern

I have the following query that returns all tables that match a pattern (tablename_ and then 4 digits). I also want to return the row counts for these tables.
Currently a single column is returned: tablename. I want to add the column RowCount.

How to make screen field enable when table control gives an error

Hi,
I had a scneario like when table control data wrong then one parameter of the screen should be enabled for the input, i knew that screen-name will not work since it will have always table control fields only when table control gives an error.
How to make the other parameter enable when table control throws an error.

Thanks for your response, but issue is - how to make other screen fields enable when there was an error in the table control data.
For table control - lets say we will use the code as i mentioned above.i am sure that we cant write the code for field enable in between loop & endloop.
as you said if we right outside the loop-endloop, the module wont be triggered when table control throws an error, because that statement was not there in the loop-endloop.
please let me know if you need any more information on the issue. I hope there is alternative for this in SAP.

How to delete rows in the target table using interface

I have an Interface with source as src and target as tgt both has company_code column.In the Interface i need like if a record with company_code already exists we need to delete it and insert the new one from the src and if it is not availble we need to insert it.

I'll give you an example from what im working on currently.
We have an ODS, some 400+ tables. Some are needed 'Real-Time' so we are using CDC. Some are OK to be batch loaded overnight.
CDC captures the Deletes no problem so the standard knowledge modules with a little tweaking for performance are doing the job fine, it handles deletes.
The overnight batch process however cannot track a delete as its phyiscally gone by the time we run the scenarios, so we load all the insert/updates using a last modified date before we pull all the PK's from the source and delete them using a NOT EXISTS looking back at the collection (staging) table. We had to write our own KM for that.
All im saying to the OP is that whilst you have Insert / Update flags to set on the target datastore to influence the API code, there is nothing stopping you extending this logic with the UD flags if you wish and writing your own routines with what to do with the deletes - It all depends on how efficient you can identify rows that have been deleted.

How to avoid row chaining in _LT tables

I am seeing lot of row chaining in the LT tables. What is the best method to avoid row chaining with workspace manager tables? Also can I move the LT tables using the "alter table move" command. Will this affect versioned tables metadata information?

Hi,
Have you been able to determine what operation is causing the rows to be chained? Typically this would be from dml inserts, but these could be due to any number of Workspace Manager operations. Regardless, there really isn't anything special that needs to be done in regards to row chaining for versioned tables. Using a higher PCTFREE on the table will frequently be beneficial. I might be able to add additional suggestions if you are able to offer some details as to when the rows are being chained, as well as details on the table itself.
We do support 'alter table move' using our DDL procedures(dbms_wm.beginDDL, dbms_wm.commitDDL). You can view our user guide for additional details about those procedures, if you do not already know how it works.
