How to pass Aunthentication details to make a Webservice authorised?

HI,
I am passing authentication details in a webservice through SOAP UI by giving the username and password in the given place.The webservice is giving me response.
But when i am passing the USERname and password through a my proxy service using a Replace activity,the webservice is not gettimg accessed giving me unauthorised error.
What to do in this case?

If I understand your situation correctly: calling the external webservice with SOAPui works, calling it through the OSB fails.
Are you referring to Username tokens? Which are be located in your WS-Security header (which you can access through $header).
Or are you sending a HTTP username / password ? In that case you should use a service account.

Thank you for the reply. I have already created the CELogonToken Flash Variable and i am able get the logon token and map to the flash variable.
Now i would like to pass the same to biws as parameter. But the service has only 2 parameters as username and password.

How to pass complex data type structure to WebService under mx:request?

From my Flex client, I need to pass data to a web service whose operation expects a complex data type with multiple layers of nesting structure. How can I populate the <mx:request> for the <mx:WebServices>? Any examples?
A couple of approaches come to my mind:
(1) construct ActionScript object to mimic the datatype expected by web service, and pass an instance of the AS object to mx:request; or
(2) construct an entire SOAP request body in XML and pass it into mx:request.
Does any of these (or both) work? If both work, which is the better way?

Master-Detail Form (How to pass an item value in Master to Detail field

I have a Master-Detail form. When adding a new record in the Detail section, I expect the primary key in the master record will copy down to the detail record. But, it is not doing that. Does anyone know how to pass the master primary key down to the detail record field.
By the way, query works fine. It knows the master-detail relationship. It is just when creating a new detail record, the key not pass down from the master record.

ADF : How to pass a variable from one frame to another frame ?

Hi,
I have an html page divided into 3 frames, all inside a frameset. Each frame are linked to a specific .jsf page (src attribute). When I list a list thanks to a ADF datatable in ONE frame, each row has a "show more" button. When I click this button I succeeded to print row detail inside the same frame thanks to the processScope ADF's native variable. The problem is that I want to display the row detail in another frame, clicking from this current frame. So for this I need to reload the other frame which display the content of the processScope variable.
For this I use the javascript code :
=> parent.frames['bottomRight'].location.reload()
Just before refreshing, I put the variable in the processScope of course like it appears in the backing bean :

Next, when the user click on the button "show more" a binding CoreCommandButton component is done. And the accessor's code is executed :

And so the other frame is reloaded ! How to do then ? How to pass the buildingDetail variable to the other frame which I need to reload to refresh it's content ?

If you look to the code of the function module, you can see it is condensing the value.
I would make a copy of this function, and remove the condense lines to give the result you want.
data: text1(1) type c.
search value for '-'.
if sy-subrc = 0 and sy-fdpos <> 0.
    split value at '-' into value text1.
    condense value.
    concatenate '-' value into value.
else.
    condense value.
endif.

How to pass a value to a bind variable in a query report in oracle apex

Hi Guys,
I have requirement to send weekly reports via email to some users. The users should receive their own records in the report. The user details is stored in a table. What I am planning to do is to create a report query in oracle apex to generate the report and then run a function/procedure via a scheduler to email the report to respective users. Now my query is ............. is it possible to pass a value (user name) to the report query to pull records of only that user? I know we can have bind variables in the report query but I have no idea how to pass a value for bind variables from a function/procedure.
Can anyone help me on this issue or suggest a better approach?

The problem is in your where_statement; You left out the quotes
on either side of name. If you want your code to get executed
like:
OPEN   sum_cv
FOR
SELECT e.*
FROM   emp e, dept d
WHERE d.deptno = e.deptno
AND    d.dname = 'ACCOUNTING';
then, in order to preserve the quotes around ACCOUNTING, your
sql_statement must look something like:
'SELECT e.*
FROM   emp e, dept d
WHERE d.deptno = e.deptno '
|| ' AND    d.dname = ''' || name || ''''
So, in order for the sql_statement to end up as above, the
where_statement must look something like:
' AND d.dname = ''' || name || ''''
It is a good practice to use DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE to display the
sql_statement that you are trying to execute; It can make
debugging a lot easier. Please see suggested code below:

By selection screen, what do you mean? There is no selection screen in WDA as there was in classic dynpro. Do you mean you are using the Select-Options reusable component? Are you wanting to call a standard transaction via ITS - SAPGUI for HTML? Please provide more details to your question.

I am new to OIM.
Need your help in passing parameters dynamically to Custom Scheduler.
I have created Custom Scheduler by extending Task Support.
I have registered the plugin through API , using PlatformService.registerPlugin() method.
As I need to send the parameter(s) to this CustomScheduler, I have defined them in Metadata (CustomScheduleTask.xml) file as below and got it imported into DB
through weblogicImportMetadata.sh script by providing the path of the file.

Iam able to import this plugin as well as register the plugin successfully. Now I have defined a job to which this Custom SchedulerTask is mapped.
Now in order to run this job(schedule task) I need to provide Login name( or id) which needs to be send as a parameter for the scheduler to get executed.
But while defining the job with this Schedule Task on OIM console, I was not able to define or pass parameter to this job. hence parameter is null in
CustomSchedule 's execute method .
Kindly help me how to pass parameter dynamically while running the scheduler from OIM console so that the execute method would be able to receive it.

Hi,
When you have created the schedule job for your custom schedule task, you should see your Login Name textfield in the schedule task. If not, then there verify your schedule task xml.
In your schedule class code, add:
