How to populate the table using webservice

Hi,
i have created the web service from function module and  integrated this web service in interactive form using New data connection.
I have drag and drop all field into the form table and test the form,but its not populate table.
if any script need for this,
Kindly explain in detail or give the sample code.
Thanks in advance
Parthasarathi

Dear folks
M about to create a midlet
application in which i need to populate my table
with the current stock exchange values. Since these
values get changed dynamically , I planned to use
streaming. Since m new to streaming ,pls someone
come up to guide me in right path. M using Canvas
application. I appreciate all the repliesthats fine and funny....
let me tell you something, in GCF everything you fetch through GPRS is bound to come as an inputstream and whatever request you send is passed as outputstream. so if you have worked with GCF, you have worked with streaming already. isn't it.

  • How to populate the ranges using FM for the SELECTs

    Hi,
    I am still working on the FM to create a generic extractor. I went through the debugger but I am still unable to determine how the ranges are populated. RSA3 always gives me zero values for the results.
    There is a RANGE statement in the sample FM and the following statements for SELECTs
      RANGES: L_R_CARRID  FOR SFLIGHT-CARRID,
              L_R_CONNID  FOR SFLIGHT-CONNID.
    and...
          LOOP AT S_S_IF-T_SELECT INTO L_S_SELECT WHERE FIELDNM = 'CARRID'.
            MOVE-CORRESPONDING L_S_SELECT TO L_R_CARRID.
            APPEND L_R_CARRID.
          ENDLOOP.
          LOOP AT S_S_IF-T_SELECT INTO L_S_SELECT WHERE FIELDNM = 'CONNID'.
            MOVE-CORRESPONDING L_S_SELECT TO L_R_CONNID.
            APPEND L_R_CONNID.
          ENDLOOP.
    My question is how is L_R_CONNID and L_R_CARRID populated with low and high values for the SELECT statements? I tried to find the DS 0SAPI_SFLIGHT_SIMPLE to run and see how it is set up but there is no such DS.
    Would someone take the time to say something about this in  several sentences? I have my own code and it seems that it is not populating the values for the SELECTs when I debug from RSA3 when I provide the low and high values.
    Would I normally populate the low and high values from the InfoPackage 'Data Selection' tab once I have implemented in BW or ready to test in BW? That would mean I have to choose those fields as selections from RSO2. Anyway, I think I have asked about this but I am hoping to get an answer to get this going...
    Appreciate any replies.

    Hi
    Here is an example of an extractor that uses
    both method's, if the InfoPackage selection exist's
    it overrides the TVARV selection (which is the default).

  • AMS - how to populate the tables...

    Hi
    I've opened Azure Mobile Services, made the ZZ_config table ... - but what tool/metode can I use for populate it?
    I can connect from Siena, but before I can import some tables, I need to populate the zz_config with table / names.... - How can I do that?
    Best regards Terje F - Norway

    Hello,
    This can normally be done via the Azure Management Portal
    https://manage.windowsazure.com/ (or via the command line tools if you feel up to it :))
    Some basic pointers are here

  • How to know the tables used in an Extractor?

    Hi Friends,
    Is there any method to find out the underlying tables used in an extractor?
    For example , 2LIS_11_VAITEM datasource uses tables  VBAP and VBUP( item status). For LOs we can see it in Lo **** pit. So If any extractor uses more than one table ..then how do you see those?? . If it is generic ds which is based on Functional Module, then what is the procedure other going into table tab.

    Hi If it is LO extractor:
    Use transaction code LBWE  in the R/3
    Go to the extractor for which you want to see the data( Logistic app->Extractors)
    Go to maintenance
    You will get an option to update just click yes and then you will get option to create request.Just check the display, it will lead you  top the window where you can see where all the fields are and from which table it is available.

  • How to Track the table using Trigger or any other Object

    Hi Folks
    I need to audit Inserts, deletions, updates  to inserted into other tracking table. I was planning on using a trigger to do this,
    Can you please help me how can I wright code for trigger for this. or else using any other object we can do this operation.
    can you please help me thanks in advance.
    Thank in advance.

    Also you can use an OUTPUT clause ( need to modify your DML operations)
    create table itest ( i int identity not null primary key, j int not null unique )
    create table #new ( i int not null, j int not null)
    insert into itest (j)
    output inserted.i, inserted.j into #new
    select o.object_id from sys.objects as o
    select * from #new
    drop table #new, itest;
    go
    The example below shows code that uses OUTPUT clause in UPDATE and DELETE statements to insert rows into an audit table.
    create table t ( i int not null );
    create table t_audit ( old_i int not null, new_i int null );
    insert into t (i) values( 1 );
    insert into t (i) values( 2 );
    update t
       set i  = i + 1
    output deleted.i, inserted.i into t_audit
     where i = 1;
    delete from t
    output deleted.i, NULL into t_audit
     where i = 2;
    select * from t;
    select * from t_audit;
    drop table t, t_audit;
    go

    Hi Mihai,
    You can populate data in DO_INIT_CONTEXT method of ur impl class in your Z component.
    data:
    lv_struct_ref type ref to YOUR_STRUCTURE,
    lv_value_node type ref to cl_bsp_wd_value_node,
    lv_bo_coll type ref to if_bol_bo_col.
    Data: current type ref to if_bol_bo_property_access.
    data: dref type ref to data.
    data: lv_guid_h type crmt_object_guid.
    data: lt_attr type table of YOUR_STRUCTURE.
    data: ls_attr type YOUR_STRUCTURE.
    data: lr_entity type ref to cl_crm_bol_entity.
    create object lv_bo_coll type cl_crm_bol_bo_col.
    lt_attr is ur internal table.
    Loop at lt_attr into ls_attr.
      create data lv_struct_ref.
      create object lv_value_node
           exporting
                iv_data_ref = lv_struct_ref.
    call method lv_value_node->if_bol_bo_property_access~set_property

  • How to populate the organization_code column in ST table for legacy system

    Hi, dear all,
    Now I use the stage table to load the setup&transaction collection data from a non-EBS legacy system to ASCP system.
    My question is: how to populate the organization_code column in the stage table?If the source system is EBS system, maybe it's an inventory organization code. But for the non-EBS system, which value is need fo this field? keep it as blank? or assign some value for it?
    Thanks
    Edited by: 852938 on 2011-5-4 下午10:24

    I find some words in the implementation guide, it says:"To collect data from your non-Oracle ERP systems or your trading partners' systems,you model each non-Oracle ERP system or trading partner as an Oracle Applications organization and store their setup and transaction data there".
    But I can't find where to model the application organization for the legacy system.
    anyone can give some clues? Thanks in advance.

    Hmm well why you just can't rename the table on the target db with the rename table to command and then do the import, will be easy right?

  • How to populate the time component of a cube?

    We have a question regarding how to populate the time component of a cube. Let me explain:
    We are using OWB 10gR2. We have created a cube with several dimensions. We are now building the mapping to load the cube. The cube operator has two columns for every dimension (e.g., "customer" and "customer_id" for the "customer" dimension).
    We understand that, in this case, "customer_id" stands for the dimension business key, so we create an arrow from the business key in the source table to the "customer_id" column in the cube operator.
    So far so good. The mapping works all right, and the cube is loaded correctly.
    Now we need to do the same for the time dimension. We have already created the time dimension and we have loaded it. We have also included it in the cube, so now we have two new columns in it: "time_day_code" and "time", both NUMBER data type.
    We have the "sale_date" column (DATE data type), in the source system and, of course, now we want to populate the date column in the cube. We suppose that, somehow, we have to translate the "sale_date" field into the numeric column of the surrogate key of the time dimension. How should do we do this? I suppose that OWB must do the translation for us, just as it does for the other dimensions, but how? We have been looking into the manuals, and we have found no explanation on how to go about this.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Best regards
    Juan Algaba

    Hi Juan
    You are right this should have been in the manuals, checked and there is only a brief mention (Using a Time Dimension in a Cube Mapping section)
    The identifier format should have been documented for each level and will involve creating the formatted attribute for input to the cube operator's time dimension reference attribute.
    The time dimension business keys are stored as follows;
    Day Level - YYYYMMDD
    Month Level - YYYYMM
    Week Level - YYYYWW
    Quarter - YYYYQ
    Year - YYYY
    If you have a source that has a SQL date datatype for example and want to construct the key for a cube's time dimension at the day level something like the following expression can be used to construct the time reference from a SQL date...
    to_number(to_char( time_key, 'YYYYMMDD'))
    The result of this expression can be used as input to the cube's time dimension attribute.
    Cheers
    David

    Use code tags.
    Don't mix GUI and JDBC together. Split them out into separate classes.
    You have a good start, but you will need to loop through your resultset and also pull the ResultSet metaData for you column headings

  • How to Populate Internal table data to Table Control in a Report Program

    Dear All,
           How to Populate Internal table data to Table Control in a Report Program? It is a pure report program with out any Module pool coding involved, which is just used to display data. Till now it is being displayed in a report. Now the user wants the data to be displayed in a table control. Could someone tell me how to go about with this.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Joseph Reddy

    If you want to use a table control, you will need to create a screen.
    In your report....
    start-of-selection.
    perform get_data.  " Get all your data here
    call screen 100. " Now present to the user.
    Double click on the "100" in your call screen statement.  This will forward navigate you to the screen.  If you have not created it yet, it will ask you if you want to create it, say yes.  Go into screen painter or layout of the screen.  Use the table control wizard to help you along the process.  It will write the code for you.  Since it is an output only table control, it will be really easy with not a lot of code.
    A better way to present the data to the user would be to give it in a ALV grid.  If you want to go that way, it is a lot easier.  Here is a sample of the ALV function module.  You don't even have to create a screen.
    report zrich_0004
           no standard page heading.
    type-pools slis.
    data: fieldcat type slis_t_fieldcat_alv.
    data: begin of imara occurs 0,
          matnr type mara-matnr,
          maktx type makt-maktx,
          end of imara.
    * Selection Screen
    selection-screen begin of block b1 with frame title text-001 .
    select-options: s_matnr for imara-matnr .
    selection-screen end of block b1.
    start-of-selection.
      perform get_data.
      perform write_report.
    *  Get_Data
    form get_data.
      select  mara~matnr makt~maktx
                into corresponding fields of table imara
                  from mara
                   inner join makt
                     on mara~matnr = makt~matnr
                        where mara~matnr in s_matnr
                          and makt~spras = sy-langu.
    endform.
    *  WRITE_REPORT
    form write_report.
      perform build_field_catalog.
    * CALL ABAP LIST VIEWER (ALV)
      call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
           exporting
                it_fieldcat = fieldcat
           tables
                t_outtab    = imara.
    endform.
    * BUILD_FIELD_CATALOG
    form build_field_catalog.
      data: fc_tmp type slis_t_fieldcat_alv with header line.
      clear: fieldcat. refresh: fieldcat.
      clear: fc_tmp.
      fc_tmp-reptext_ddic    = 'Material Number'.
      fc_tmp-fieldname  = 'MATNR'.
      fc_tmp-tabname   = 'IMARA'.
      fc_tmp-outputlen  = '18'.
      fc_tmp-col_pos    = 2.
      append fc_tmp to fieldcat.
      clear: fc_tmp.
      fc_tmp-reptext_ddic    = 'Material'.
      fc_tmp-fieldname  = 'MAKTX'.
      fc_tmp-tabname   = 'IMARA'.
      fc_tmp-outputlen  = '40'.
      fc_tmp-col_pos    = 3.
      append fc_tmp to fieldcat.
    endform.
