I don't have a problem connecting to my sql server and extracting data and saving it to an csv file. I'm using the Export-CSV $file cdmlet. I'm not sure how to export an image my sql2008 server and save it in a csv file. Any help would
be great, thanks.

Hey all. i am using Adobe Illustrator CS5 for creating images for iPhone app icons the size of image 374 px 374 px and 264 ppi. i created an image same size and ppi .the problem after export the image file size changing to 1371px x 1371px and 264 ppi pixel dimension.How can I export same canvas size and same resolution file from illustrator

If you just forget about PPI and use Save for Web, you will get the 374 x 374 pixel size.
The 1371 x 1371 pixels is because you somehow increase the resolution by 264/72.
You should never mix pixel by pixel sizes and PPI.
The 374 x 374 pixels is the actual image size. At 264 PPI that will be about 1.417 inches. At 72 PPI that will be about 5.194 inches.

If you want the same export settings on some or all of the images you can select all that have the same export requirements and export them as a group.
If all the images have the same requirements then you can select them all and run the export command.

To back up the Library: that is images, organisation, edit history etc etc
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

I have the following requirement. Initially business agreed upon, exporting the table data to Excel file. But now, they would like to export the table data to a CSV file, which is not being supported by af:exportCollectionActionListener component.
Because, when i opened the exported CSV file, i can see the exported data sorrounded with HTML tags. Hence the issue.
Does someone has any solution for this ... Like, how can we export the table data to csv format. And it should work similar to exporting the data to excel sheet.

I still use Aperture 2.1.4. I need to export an image file with a CMYK profile. Whereas a generic CMYK profile is listed in ColorSync Utility, it does not appear on the list of profiles in the edit portion of the export preset dialogue. Help?

These profiles do not respond to clicking and dragging. Since they are all in one place, more or less, I'm reluctant to make further attempts to relocate them. Accessing the CMYK profile is the first difficult experience I've encountered with this arrangement. I have never needed the CMYK profile until recently, and that need has now past. However, it remains a mystery to me as to why it does not appear with all the others on the menu of export choices in Aperture 2, or on the menu of profile assignment choices in the Preview application (where again all the other profiles are listed as choices). I'm beginning to think my current set up will permit me to view an image that was created in CMYK space, but does not easily assign, or convert to that space. I don't face these restrictions with all the others, so it remains a curious circumstance for me. I anticipate upgrading my computer and software in the near future which might alleviate this issue altogether. Again, many thanks for your attention to this matter. I'm not an applet programmer so I can't give you much advice there.
If you want to stream the file from the server before it's entirely uploaded, then I don't believe you can treat it like a normal file. If you're just wanting to throw it up there and then listen to it, then you can treat it like a normal file.
But again, I'm not entirely certain. You might be able to stream the start of the file from the server while you're still uploading the end of it, but it probably depends on what method you're using to do the transfer.

You need to purchase a subscription for PDF Pack and then sign in to : https://cloud.acrobat.com/
Select the files saved in 'Acrobat.com' and then click on the 'Create pdf' tab to convert the selected doc files to pdf.
Alternatively you can download the .doc file from the online account and use Adobe Acrobat to convert it to pdf.

- check if the File specified exists on your filesystem
- read in the jpg from the file (best would be binary)

I was trying to implement multiple level hover detailed navigation in iview for which I got couple of css scripts from web which include javascripts.
I placed these files in respective folders and their reference in header.jsp but when the iview is rendered in browser the reference is changing to .htm
So please help me out how to place these script / image files in PAR file and their reference in portalapp.xml & header.jsp.

1) The CSS file you have , save as "jsp" file and please place in the jsp folder.
suppose your jsp is header.jsp and your css file is header_style.jsp
include the css jsp - header_style.jsp in header.jsp like

there is also an open source implementation of such an applet on sourceforge. it's also called JUpload, but i think it's not maintained any more.
